A new client of mine has brought this website to my attention, and from the looks of it, seems like I’ve had some derogatory things said  about me, mainly being my lips, and I have encountered some discrimination in unnecessary comments from people on the site, my question why? Although I rarely read or posted in the Political Forum, I am sad to see it go. I always thought of it as a place Daddy created to keep the puppies from pissing in the main sandbox. I also thought of it as a more "unregulated" space where people were allowed to be more free with their speech.
In fact, the entire concept of "moderators" in the political forum always seemed self defeating to me. I mean, if you wander into that forum, you kind of have to accept that your going to hear (and perhaps debate) things that you don’t like.
As gay men our very existence is political. As such, I am sad to see an arena for political free speech dismantled. Nonetheless, it is what it is. 

I have mixed feelings. I think it was helpful to know who is who. Also, based on the time they spent there, the frequency of their posting, and the blatant bitterness, it looks like some poor lonely guys do not have another place to vent their grievances. 
Besides, I wonder how we will keep politics out of the conversations. The same homophobia and racism that a few posters bragged about, will show up when we discuss non-political issues. After all, (nonpartisan) politics is everywhere. 

I didn't often post in the political forums but I'm sad to see them retired. It'll be weird when something major happens in the world but we won't be able to discuss it on here. I would have rather seen repeat violators given permanent bans from posting in that section and disabling new members from accessing the political section for a certain amount of time to dissuade someone from just making a new profile. But I know how burned out the mods must be so I'm fine with the decision.

Also, one of the staff there confirmed that they want to go back to doing the weekly shows, but the bar they used to have it at has been closed since covid and the owners have been debating on renovations, so no word on when they're coming back. They've tried looking at other venues but nothing has worked out so far.

I think the law prohibits selling alcohol with fully nude performers.  Here, alcohol is simply being served at what is a private party after you are admitted so there should be no problem.  

Yep, they have alcohol at the event (your admission fee gets you 2 free drinks), but I believe you're also allowed to bring your own alcohol if you awnt. It's at a private residence so I'm guessing that's how they're skirting by the rules.

It's totally fine and most people come alone. It's a pretty easygoing event.

My philosophy on hiring (I started when I was 35) was the same as for all other kinds of entertainment expense: if I had cash that I didn't need or want for something else, I indulged my lusts. Hindsight is 20/20, of course, but the best plan would've been to not cancel and turn your appointment into 2:45 instead of 3:00. Cancelling a three-hour meet minutes before the start was not good and I understand the provider's anger. In fact, some here would pay the provider a cancel fee of some amount. 
You may want to try to contact the provider, apologize, offer some amount, and hope he'll meet you again.
