Is there a local Spanish-language review site for guys in Mexico City? I see guys on Mileroticos, but I want to make sure they're good at what they do and safe to meet up with.

As a gay man of a certain age, the most notable thing about Sears for me was that at a very early age I could see pictures of men in their underwear in the Sears catalog. There was nothing else available that was even remotely sexual, so that was the best I could find.

To this day I have a specific fetish tied to using that catalogue as a form of porn.

CarolinaRen reacted to prof in 65 is not elderly, damn it!
I'm over 65, work part time (by choice), volunteer regularly, travel, babysit for young relatives & friends, and exercise daily. If someone wants to consider me elderly, it doesn't alter anything in my lfe, & if they want to give me discounts, I'll gladly take advantage! The only thing that irritates me is someone calling me "young man," as if humoring me or making me feel better about being a fossil. That comes across as condescending. I know how old I am, I'm grateful for my experience & acquired wisdom, & I need nothing sugar-coated.

I've just recently had a provider I saw in the summer of 2018 pop up in my "people you may know" stream on a social media platform. It's definitely him, and it's his real account and his real name. We have no mutual friends, and we've never had any dealings with each other outside of our session that afternoon. I was baffled when I first saw it. Would Facebook be rummaging through our phone records? His number would have been in my phone for awhile, but I dropped that phone and ruined it in 2020. His number isnt on my current phone. This just happened a couple of weeks ago. Any ideas? The ways we're being tracked these days is something else.

CarolinaRen reacted to Ali Gator in Got my second Shingles shot - have no fear, ask me anything!
Yesterday, I got my second Shingles shot (Shingrix), as my first was given to me the first week of October. The patient is supposed to wait at least two months between shots but no longer than six months (otherwise its ineffective), so I was right in the middle at three months. Since I turned 60 this year, and had chicken pox when I was 12, my PCP strongly recommended I get the Shingles vax.
Now I've heard so many horror stories about patients suffering from side-effects after the second dose (the pharmacist at Walgreens, where I went for both shots, explained in simple terms how the 'first vax' tries to fight off the second vax, not knowing they are working together).
Here is a rundown of what some of the side effects are after the second shot (though not everyone suffers the same) : Nauseous, high fever, body aches, fatigue. According to the pharmacist, these usually kick in about 12 hours after you get the shot, and usually last about 12 - 24 hours. She recommended I pick up some chicken soup (enough for two days) at the Italian restaurant next door (I did) and take 2 Tylenol every eight hours over the first 24 hours, to keep the fever and aches away. Most importantly - hydrate! Drink plenty of water (I did).
Overall, I feel fine 24 hours after the shot. During the night, I got up to drink water every couple of hours (and go to the bathroom), and my lower back was a bit achy as were my legs. I got up this morning, took 2 more Tylenol and for the past few hours (sitting up watching TV, eating breakfast) the aches and pains went away.  I was never nauseous, I never had a fever - the Tylenol definitely helped.
So if you're debating about the Shingles shot - and heard horror stories about the second shot  - I encourage you to put your fears aside and plan accordingly.  Hydrate, take plenty of Tylenol (to keep the aches and pains away), eat chicken soup and other proteins.  One thing which helped me was going for my shot this week while I was on vacation - this way I didn't need to take a sick day or personal time from my job. I recommend you plan to get it on a Friday (even before you go to work or on your lunch hour - your side effects will kick in 12 hours later), so you have Saturday to recuperate. Remember - you only need a Shingles vax once in your life - and you don't want to risk getting shingles (it's painful).
I hope my sharing this experience helps those who have concerns. Everyone should be pro-active and get the Shingles shot if your 60 and older (some say 50 and older - ask your PCP). Feel free to ask me anything !
PS - Also on your list should be the annual flu shot, pneumonia (every five years) and TDAP (every 10). As for the COVID vax updates, that's up to you (my PCP has advised against it, so I have not been updating since 2021 - he believes we know have herd immunity).

If you're interested in Mexico City, I definitely recommend Kundalini Studio. I used this massage service last time I was in Mexico City and it was amazing! Their space was nothing special but the sensual massage was one of the best I've ever had. Of course, it didn't hurt that it was a 4 hand massage. The booking process was very easy and friendly. It's clear that their goal is to provide excellent service from beginning to end.

About a decade ago I used to travel to Hong Kong a couple of times a year for work. I used https://www.utopia-asia.com/hkmasa.htm to research male spas there. As Marc said they are concentrated on HK Island as well as in Kowloon. In most cases, a great experience.

BTW, long time reader of the forum. Since retiring and the pandemic, my travel is limited so I no longer have recent masseur experiences to share here… but I enjoy reading what other members contribute.

I have never really understood this kind of gossip.  Unless someone is being outed who is otherwise a homophobe -- particularly a homophobe in a position to help enact anti-gay laws -- doesn't the person deserve privacy and a right to tell their own story whenever and however they want?  Even if it's just gossip about someone's sexual activity and not their sexual orientation, I don't see what business it is for other people to discuss.
I get the "wish fulfillment" aspect of it, but if I was someone famous I know I wouldn't want people who don't even know me gossiping about my sex life.

I agree with you.  Especially in your own home & the guest is making the drinks as noted in this story - no way.
however - the bigger point is once someone is inside your home & is intent on doing harm, it’s gonna happen & not going to end well.  Drugging seems to be the preferred method tho in these type robberies….gives them plenty of time to thoroughly rob & hack.
I much prefer hotels where it’s my room & I can control it to a degree with everything locked in the safe. In that case, I tell the provider I have friends on same floor and limited time because meeting them for drinks/dinner.  Second choice is providers hotel room or home.  I only invite people to my home I’ve known for a long time - never strangers.
There are a lot more of these type crimes that we never hear about - way more common than people think.  Super easy from the criminals pov - they’re being invited in.
Also - you should never have any financial apps on phone/tablet that open with facial recognition or fingerprint. Once you’re unconscious they can get into anything
FYI - the RM profile is still up & says AVAILABLE NOW.  unbelievable

Unfortunately it has happened to me several times.  I've had guys no-show who were supposed to come to my place, and typically when someone doesn't show up they just don't bother to respond to texts asking where they are.  One guy had the nerve, however, of replying that he was on his way to visit his family for the holidays and questioning why I would think it was okay to make an appointment right before Christmas.  Uh, because you agreed to said appointment?  Seemed obvious to me that if the guy didn't want to schedule something on December 24th he could have just said so.  The funny/awkward thing is that I frequently saw him at my gym after that.  Hot looking guy but because of his rudeness I always just ignored him.  Another time I traveled to the hotel where some guy said he would be staying because we had an agreed-upon appointment time and he said he would give me his room number after he checked in.  Didn't hear back from him before I traveled to his hotel, didn't hear back from him when I was outside his hotel; in fact, he never responded.
It's bad enough to stand someone up, but one would think that at least a simple acknowledgement/apology would be in order.
