Well, if anyone is interested, I 'took one for the team' as you guys say.  And boy, did I get it good

Super nice guy, very friendly.  Ripped and muscley like photos.  Personally would prefer more beef but if you like his look you won't be disappointed.  Wouldn't say 10 long, more like a genuine 8.5+ (which is BIG!) but THE GIRTH! wowser. heavy to hold.
Read the RM reviews, would have to agree  - bit disorganised at the start but think that was a blip.  Once we got going very generous with himself.

    Word. Lift.
    Culpability ratio a sliding scale.
Witnessed this past year a scene across a crowded bar room between a hideous looking customer and a favourite gacquaintance of mine, seemingly for minimally half an hour before I think I myself moved on to stretch my legs. It was not an enchanted evening exchange. I don’t know if it was a local or an estrangeiro but my gacquaintance was obviously trying to set limits as I tried to refrain from throwing up my Gatorade a little in my mouth.
My sense was that the imbecile kept lunging for tonsils while tugging away below without visa clearance. The GI microspasms my own fault for not averting my gaze but, you know, trains veering off rails and such. Like, get a 10-buck room and pony up, cheap-ass bitch. Once you have found him, hello and let him go.
My gacquaintance later received what would be considered a very decent fee for canoodling privately in the setting with a client actually dealing fairly. Beautiful handsome masculine built guy with the sweetest of temperaments, doesn’t come in aggressively hot on the floor, rolling with these sorts of hits probably partly for his offspring’s sake. It occurs to me that although honourable decent transactions often occur there isn’t nearly enough compensation baked in for what many a garoto is typically put through on a given shift.
    —-
Cue the: “well you don’t know that the garoto wasn’t fine with it all and their deal didn’t actually stand up at the end of the day … fawnh fawnh, fawnh, fawnh”, from the usual suspect array of spirit-crushing merchandise samplers with delusions of gifting by virtue of their mere presence.

On the other hand, and not to “victim blame”, there are some really obnoxious clients who probably do deserve to have their asses kicked. There is one gringo tourist clown who sits at the sauna bar and lures garotos into doing a lot of public displays of affection / practical public sex acts by promising them a programa in a suite if he can feel a “connection”. Then, after practically getting his rocks off and having each garoto one-by-one go through humiliating intimacy with him in public, he sends them on their way without even as much as a tip for their time, saying, “I’ll think about it” or “maybe later”.
I doubt many of the more obnoxious visitors understand that South / Latin America — and especially Brazil — has its own set of rules when it comes to meting out justice, and the machismo culture calls for avenging shame. I wouldn’t want to get on the wrong side of some of these streetwise, favela-connected boys.

Deadlift1 reacted to SouthOfTheBorder in Getting to Fire Island
this is the oldest cliche about Fire Island there is.
In both Pines & Cherry Grove, vast majority of houses are dumps (expect for some that are owner occupied), everything is obscenely overpriced compared to Manhattan, no decent restaurants and RAMPANT/visible drug use.  It’s not uncommon to see guys doing powder bumps on the ferry and in the bars. Who knows what kind of powder - there are so many.  There are frequent overdoses that require medical evacuation - it’s super common.  There is an unmistakeable energy that goes along with the crystal meth crowd (agitated, bitchy & aggressive) & it’s pervasive. Drug use seems more of thing in Pines than Grove
The weather is generally very unpredictable - it’s about 50/50 chance you get sunny weather with little humidity.
I spent many summers wondering why I was paying astronomical sums of money in an isolated place with bad weather surrounded by drug addicts at every turn.  I can only see Fire Island as a destination for New Yorkers that can’t really get away for anything beyond a long weekend and then only if you can somehow tune out all the bad behavior at every turn.
There are some people that hibernate in their house with a small group of friends only - but if that’s the case, why go to Fire Island at all ?
Also - getting there by public transport is a ridiculous schlep. Take a car from Manhattan to the ferry dock and save your sanity.

I have visited NM quite a few times. Always ready for another visit- great place.  I can’t say much about the gay scene, but one thing I noticed in Santa Fe was how easily gays and straights mixed.

I have friends who live or have lived in both Albuquerque and Santa Fe, and twenty years ago we seriously considered retiring to Albuquerque, which is less expensive than Santa Fe. Albuquerque is much larger and less artsy and touristy than Santa Fe. There was a fairly laidback gay bar scene in Albuquerque then, but I know nothing about what it is like now. I did have a younger distant cousin who is straight, who worked for the local newspaper, and she said there was a lot of corruption in the local government--so much so that she soon decamped to Santa Fe (actually to Taos). We looked at housing in Albuquerque with a realtor, and one certainly got more for the buck there. The only people I know now in NM are retirees in Santa Fe, gay and straight, who moved there from the East Coast and wouldn't live anywhere else.

Santa Fe obvz more pricey for everything, esp in summer opera season. Better for vacation than Albuquerque which is overall a quiet gay-friendly city with many different areas for residence. Gorgeous scenery everywhere you look, and lots of ways to become better acquainted with nature and SW Native Culture and traditions.

We own rental property in ABQ, which was incredibly well priced when we needed to find an investment. We have friends whom we visit, but I am a city mouse at heart and would not relocate to the area.

The problem with now staying there is that it's overrun with people who love the show.  For the next few years, it's not going to be the quiet, idyll that it used to be.
And as soon as the show debuted, they upped their rates 20%.  Can't blame them, but it's really not worth $1k+ a night.

Your advice is amazing and I took it and got him a hat this past weekend.

Definitely in the deep infatuation stage here. FUCK it feels so good.
Just to set the bar, I used marry as a word in my original post as a trigger for both myself and everyone else. Sure there is a world I see there but it's not even the first thing on my mind. It's just where it's headed. lol
Very good advice and thank you for posting. I want a real man who can stand at the top of his mountain right next to mine. That's incredibly attractive. It's insanely attractive actually.
We touched on this last week. He has a green card and is taking the citizenship test next month, with or without me. I'm comfortable here.

If a provider can’t or won’t give me their usual service and leave me unsatisfied because of that, I’d rather not waste my money on them and better to clear that up before an appointment is made.
I’d just they rather state their criteria in their profiles. But of course they know that will make them look like a holes and they would lose business from a much broader segment than they are singling out.
If they require photos for their security or any other issues, let them state that too and apply it universally. And see where it gets them in terms of inbound inquiries.

I just don't want to see their silhouette... it is far too jarring for me to see every crevice. I try to avert my gaze but I have a morbid fascination with sausage casing. If it were a guy wearing leggings, however... that would be a different story. And yes, guys who wear leggings definitely know what they are doing and accentuating.
