  1. This applies even if they do specifically list a service. One thing - always RM messenger the escort beforehand. Then if you have a premium account, you can 1-star them if they violate the contract.
  2. Yup. His ad said he was into kissing. I asked him to confirm. He said: yes, I kiss....$50 each. Balls.
  3. Yeah snot doesn't smell like bleach.
  4. In Japan, they call that the "refreshing" type. They need that spice of earnest helpfulness with some naivety. I'd pay extra for a provider who could pull that act off. It's near-impossible when both sides are experienced with hiring.
  5. @pubic_assistance , at times, you can be a master of subtle and polite homophobia.
  6. It's off-putting to me as a gay man, yes, but it's also a hedged business move. Fat grandmas need loving too. I can respect business savvy.
  7. I've been very disappointed with the "cream of the crop," and IMHO they're not worth the extra. In fact, they're not worth it: hard to book, very arrogant, highly likely to flake, and entitled. I think the only difference is one knows how to find a photographer to make them look drool-worthy in their ad. There are many guys with regular pics or normal looking profiles who are stunning in person. Appearance is not substance.
  8. Tell him he has a choice - pucker up or get on his knees. See what he prices. EDIT My personal favorite was this guy who said he charges $50 per kiss. I politely declined without laughing.
  9. Everyone has their own tastes; just make sure the provider is willing to go along. For example, I'm like the opposite. I don't engage in anal or oral sex with providers. I recall 2 Latino guys slapping their dick on my face to tempt me, but no go. Also, kissing does not need to be romantic, if combined with non-consensual roleplay. You can get really creative. I personally liked the "torturer who realized he was whipping the wrong guy, and tenderly tries to nurse him back to health" scenario.
  10. I can understand retired - and close-to-retirement - clients cutting back on hiring, and I bet that's where most of the effect will be. Their fears may be mislaid, but there's a lot more going on than just the stock market. Consumer confidence is down - this is a simple economic fact which equals less spending. Across the board. Luxury items do not sell well in such a market. I'm already starting to see an influx of new guys in my area, but in terms of quality, they don't stand out much. I'd imagine we'll see somewhat of a repeat of pandemic era panic. But I don't see demand getting too high, and I expect to see a lot of creatives/artistics start hiring out when they need the money. But there will be lots of scammers. I will not discuss investments, but some of us are still working, and still have a ways to go before we can stop working. That fact remains regardless of how much you have saved. That alone is what caused me to cut back. Never tempt fate and laugh at a bear market.
  11. Dude - male landscapers get hired by bored housewives all the time. And for more than just mowing the lawn while shirtless. Enjoy the scenery.
  12. Yeah, they upsell. I'd look for a model that comes with all features attached instead.
  13. And this is why clients need to learn how to defend themselves with the same type of weapon. Dangerous business, take precautions.
  14. No, but stagnating wages, inflation, and the possibility of losing my job would.
  15. Strange you should say that. Yeah, I plan on hiring less - I work in fintech and see what's coming. I've decided to only hire a local regular I've seen for years. His rate is reasonable (partly locked in) and he's professional and honest (things highly suspect in travelling escorts). As a bonus, he's great at finding college guys who are willing to make three, and who charge much less than escorts. I'll give them some scholarship money any day.
  16. Because he told me to.... Seriously, swallowing is only something I do to people I'm close with (never escorts). Like Churchill above mentioned, it's like being claimed, and it's very intimate, demonstrating how people can become close enough to do something many others would find disgusting.
  17. Believe me - at the age of 20, I also believed gay men weren't capable of true relationships. At that age, at that place, and I hope, at that time in history, The vast majority of gay guys at college stayed closeted, often joining frats, then f*cked around like crazy, while looking down at the "out" gays. After all, those closeted gays had big plans in finance, law, or whatever their parents had planned for them, and gay men didn't rise to high positions back then. The only advantage was that we knew, and when you have closeted gays on the student council, you also have a lot of leverage. It was rather amusing to watch an attempt to close down the gay club fall flat on its back with the guy who proposed it humiliated in front of the school. I know we were all shaped by the times, but I do not excuse that type of behavior. Then or now. I still think young gays aren't ready for relationships. I was in middle age before I started dating guys who were genuinely interested. That's one good advantage of aging while gay. EDIT In fact, I'd say this viewpoint applies to all people, gay or straight. It's just youth.
  18. Dude - this already happened in Canada! And the escort won. https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/nova-scotia/former-sex-worker-small-claims-court-national-precedent-1.6896597 To quote: "There was offer, there was an acceptance of the offer, there was certainty of terms, so all the hallmarks of an enforceable contract were there." Although there was no formal contract, and although sex work contracts were not considered legal, the court decided commercial law applied. Of course, this is Canada. EDIT This would never happen in the states.
  19. No. Only if you choose to appear to be monogamous.
  20. Yes to the first, so I can't complain too much. Willful means he was slightly argumentative and cocky. Most annoying. I really need to stop hiring guys with an IQ over 100.
  21. I love that I'm not the only one that fell for that, although I had the excuse of only being 19.
  22. More like - I almost always hire regulars (my most regular guy, I've seen for 8 years), and casual payment has become common to me. Looks like the new market is rougher than the old. Live and learn. Also, like I said - 3 stars. He gave me what I wanted, just not as long as I wanted. The other indicator I missed - and I shouldn't have - is that he was very willful during our chats. I came within a thumb push of sending a message cancelling. That was my ultimate mistake.
  23. Yeah. I have a habit of, 15 minutes into the appointment, if the guy has good reviews and a reputation on here, just wiring the money so I can forget about it later. No more. If they demand up front, I say half first, half after - you don't like it, find someone else with money. EDIT - Translation - the people who posted glowing reviews of him on this site have a little explaining to do.
  24. Yup. I mentioned it in the forum, a provider tried to stick me with a supposed ticket he got from a handicapped zone. The problem - he was a Thai masseur in a poor neighborhood, and the ticket said it was a Mercedes. Sometimes I feel like I'm paying for the entertainment value, which is honestly, pretty good.
