In Milan I felt totally under dressed even when I had my best outfit on. I tried so hard but effortless style just seems to be something only Italians can pull off. I just looked English regardless of what I wore. 
And yes…you can usually spot an American (you usually hear them first) and then you see them. I don’t know what it is but they just don’t blend in to the background. And then you find they are extremely polite in person. I’m not used to being called Sir (unless it’s in a Dom/sub porn situation!!) but Americans seem to like using the phrase…”yes sir” when responding to requests. It’s very charming to English ears. 

When someone is in a different culture it’s difficult to know what’s allowed etc so I’m not going to judge because a lot of what seems inappropriate behaviour is just through innocent mistakes. I find it quite funny to hear of some of the faux pas that happen.

I think we are in a technical recession, but based on what we are seeing, I think it’s a supply side induced recession stemming from Covid caused supply suppression. E.g. oil and gas is a great example: lots of supply was capped in 2020, and we have ESG concerns on top, so the O&G are just going after profits by keeping supply suppressed. Consumer demand is/was there; lots of money chasing goods. So the Fed is killing demand to meet the reduced supply. But employment is strong… for now. I think we end up in a Stagflation environment.  Slowed economy, low growth, higher inflation. 
 
 

Yes there’s an App called Client Rating According to Providers. You put in all the details of your clients performance after the session and it calculates a score, based on 7 key aspects;  Approach to booking, Sociability, Sexual performance, Hygiene, Openness to experience, Likeability and Ease of service. 
You might hear providers discussing clients scores on the App before accepting a booking. You’d hear “what’s his A.S.S.H.O.L.E  rating on the C.R.A.P. App?”
If the client scores < 5 they’re either declined or the price goes up. I understand that Uber have copied the model…

I live in NYC, if I’m taking an MTA bus it’s just habit at this point when I get on, and say “good morning/afternoon/hello/etc”. Similarly, getting off, I say “thank you, drive safe”. I do the same with cabs, Ubers. 🤷🏼‍♂️

What was that expression - “manners are the cornerstone of a civilized society”? I think we see every day on the news what happens when there is an absence of manners.

The current vaccine is originally designed for smallpox. It is just a safer version of the old cowpox vaccine. We are probably running out of time to immunize enough people to stop the spread because there is not enough dosage on hand and it is also hard to ramp up the production. 
Another thing is that the current vaccine is non-replicating so it will be harder to trigger enough immunity with a single dose. One is not fully immunized until receiving the second dose.
