Sounds like a failure to understand economics. If the economy goes bad, fewer will be able to afford services. Current providers would have to either be ok with fewer bookings, or lower the price. If the economy is bad enough that many others go into this line of work, competition for fewer dollars might drop the prices more.
Conversely, if there are fewer providers, those still working can raise their rates. 
It's not an insult or an accusation.  It's simple economics. Not sure why everyone is so angry about it.

Reading this thread makes me wonder what is the expectation of some guys 🙄. Escorts can charge whatever they like. Whatever they feel they’re worth. Everyone has their own rate they will require to do the job and I have no problem with them doing that. No one is being forced to pay it.
I say to those who don’t like the rates: ‘don’t shop there then, he’s clearly out of your price range’.  You’ll find guys at your price point and you can see what they’re like. If a guy wants to charge $500 or more that’s entirely his call. He will probably have set it to manage the amount of business he wants to do. Entirely up to him.
Of course you can have an opinion about what you’re prepared to pay but don’t complain about the quality of services you get at that price. Alternatively if you think you can do a better job at the rate you’re prepared to pay go ahead and set yourself up. Then you might be able to comment with some justification.

One of my regular specialized in traveling around small cities and avoiding the big ones. His shtick is setting up a prebooking in each city with his regulars and advertising ahead for additional ones. So far it works well for him.

My motto... either pay what is asked or pick someone else.
I will sometimes ask what a multi hour rate is because sometimes if you book 2, 3 or 4 hours it could be less.  But if it's not, pay it or move on.  Negotiating rates just puts a damper on the whole experience.

Which is gross. There's ways to say things that don't involve that kind of language. When I ask for a provider for their info and they say their rate is X and is a mismatch for me I reply with "Thank you so much for the info, I appreciate it, it is over the rate of Y I usually pay but I thank for your time and if anything changes on my side I'll reach out, have a great rest of your day". 7 out of 10 come back "I can do that rate", but if they don't I DO NOT contact them anymore unless I can or am willing to pay their rate. I never say that's too expensive, or tell them they're crazy for asking that much, or what have you, that's a big NO. 

Agreed 💯 which is why I now only hire those who clearly care about actually making their clients happy, building their stable and continually upping their game. I’m so impressed with my current master and how he has realized his original commitment to continuous improvement over the past few years which is why I stick with him consistently now and am grateful to have him.

I find these tend to get arranged on Sniffies app. Guys book a hotel room, advertise their presence and that they’ll be taking loads, and then of course they wait in the room, ass available and receive the loads. Usually they have a buddy available to make sure the tops are organised. You don’t want them to hang around after shooting, or to take too long, or to cause a commotion in the hotel. The rule is, turn up, wait in line if necessary, get yourself close, and then ensure you dump it in him and then leave. I’ve done a couple of these (hired as the buddy to a bottom and to leave the first load to get him started). It’s important to find a good location, advertise it, and of course be patient. 
Alternatively you can sign up to be a mare at a horse fair event. 

It's YOUR job to make it sexy, not for the clients to make it sexy for you.  Getting into the mind frame to make it sexy is what separates the men from the boys. 
 
This is your choice. One of the joys for me about sex work is that I get to set my schedule. This has to be balanced with saying No to clients who want to see me at 2am.  You can set out 'open hours' like any other service does - we cannot be available 24hrs a day 7 days a week. We all need to make the choice at times - would we prefer see the client, or would we prefer 'getting things done'?  
But if you want to make money, and you want to be busy, you must be flexible and have an understanding that YOUR schedule needs flexibility to ensure you can get as many bookings as possible.

It's true that there are a lot of guys out there that use Rentmen profiles to jerk off to and use us as 'interactive porn'. Some of the clients here on this site for eg, rate, reach out, comment about us, look up and critique our profiles when they have not hired for YEARS and have no intention in doing so. Lots of people will contact you with no intention to meet up and get off on just the thought of it. 
But there are also a lot of people who reach out with intention but also trepidation, and if your sales and marketing skills or bedside manner is not accommodating enough- you wont land the sale.  It's a tough balance to weigh up being open enough for these people and closed enough for the tire kickers who are jerking us around to not drain you. 

Ok as someone who is a provider and performer in porn let me give my perspective:  It can happen, and be quite unexpected. It’s certainly happened to me on occasions when I’ve been with clients and when making porn.
We’re all human and can have off days (or just be tired from a sequence of clients). It’s also happened with guys I was filming with when they couldn’t get hard. It’s actually more common than you might realise, especially with guys who have sex professionally. I know guys who inject their cock with trimix before a film shoot because they want to be sure of getting hard. 
The most important thing is to understand how best to react to it if the guy you hired isn’t hard. You shouldn’t make an issue of it. Try something different, do some massage or stretching together, focus on touch, intimacy and breathing. You’ll find as soon as you remove the expectation that he should get hard then more than likely he will get hard. But if you make a big issue about it then you can be 100% sure it isn’t going to happen.
