No one mentioned one issue with rentmen and texting and phone calls.
To have a client's review accepted and printed in the provider's ad, if a client cannot "prove" that they "met" the provider, and by "proof" rentmen wants to see some communication on the rentmen site that the provider and client actually communicated with one another.
For rentmen's reasons, a client's review will not be accepted by rentmen unless there is some communication on the rentmen site between the provider and the client.
I recently had a conversation with a rentmen exec in Germany about another issue.  The exec admitted that the communication requirement on rentmen is not "fool proof" that the provider and client met but there is another reason (too long to go into now) that makes rentmen require at least one "back and forth" chat on the rentmen site between the provider and client.
So, unless you do not plan to write a review or if the provider does not care about reviews, rentmen communication is not important.   If you or the provider want a review, at least start the communication with a rentmen chat of sorts.   Then you can switch to text or another form of communication.
I know for a fact that when a provider has a huge number of positive reviews, clients are more likely to hire the provider that has many positive reviews versus a provider with zero or only one or two reviews.

Your decision will be based on how much you want to see Rio.  You recently got to know Sao Paulo.
As you know, there are direct flights into Rio or Sao Paulo from the U.S.
I personally prefer to spend more time in Sao Paulo than in Rio because there is so much more to do in Sao Paulo and the city is safer than Rio.  Rio has a large beach and two popular saunas and a higher crime rate than does Sao Paulo.
Sauna wise, in Rio, you have:
Clube 117 which is a fun place and never disappointed me in the many years and times I visited there.
Clube 202 can be a fun and busy place and easy to meet garotos.  However, the owner, Junior, likes LOUD
music which, when he is there, turns up the music loud which makes it difficult to have a conversation with the garotos or anyone else while in the sauna.  His sauna is located in Copacabana, right near a favela which makes it easier for street crime to come down the hill and bother people on the street near the sauna then quickly escape back up the hill.
There is also one smaller sauna in Rio that I never saw but supposedly has very young thin garotos.  I do not recall the name of the sauna.
So, given the above and if it were I and the first time in Brazil, I would book Rio for a few days then proceed to Sao Paulo for the remainder of my vacation.  Of course, this is what I would do.
When you travel between Rio and SP, while in Brazil, there is no need to go to the far out international airports.  There is a smaller downtown airport in both Rio and SP. - Congonas and Santos Dumont airports.
It is only about an hour flight between the downtown two city airports.

You hired him for a 3 day session without ever having met him before and then trash talked him on the phone with him in the room? Sucks that you didn't get what you expected but it doesn't sound like you made the wisest choices.

Despite what you wrote above, too many providers still accept a client knowing they are tired or cannot perform well.
Nonetheless, the provider expects money even though the provider is having a bad day and the provider knows that the meeting will likely end up disappointing for the client.
Regardless, the provider accepts or demands full payment for rotten service received by the client.
No question, escorting is not the same as buying a product from a store or reputable company.  In many cases, escorting has gotten out of hand, pricewise and non delivery as agreed.
Most providers now want payment up front because the provider knows he likely cannot deliver as agreed with the client.
It is a shame that the rentmen reviews narratives are blocked to U.S. users.  Reading the narratives tells you a lot about many providers that do not care whether the client is treated fairly.
However, there is a way to read the rentmen narratives even though the narratives are usually blocked to U.S. readers.   Reading the narratives is helpful as a guide to the likihood of compatibility.
Several months ago I posted a link that will allow Americans to access rentmen narratives as though the clients' computer was in Europe.  That way, the rentmen narratives are not blocked.
Read the narratives on providers of interest.  Sometimes you get a big surprise by reading the narrratives.
To simplify accessing the rentmen narrative bypass, here is the link again:
     hide.me/en/proxy

When the link opens,  copy the providers' review page link in the space asked for in the hide.me link shown above.
    Happy reading.

Rentmen declines reviews unless there is confirmation that you have communicated with the provider.  Rentmen's way to prove communication is through rentmen chat.
Many providers avoid chat because they plan to give lousy service and they know that a review will be declined if the chat function was not used.
Therefore, initially, on first contact, use rentmen chat to and from the provider if you plan to write a review of your experience.  Some providers (only a few, fortuneately) plan to give bad service or get your money without performing agreed services.  In short, try to use the rentmen chat function.
If the provider refuses to use rentmen chat, that should be a possible red flag if the provider specifically tells you not to use chat in any form.  Texting is fine AFTER you first use the chat function to establish to rentmen that you communicated with the provider.
Otherwise, the provider could get your money and not perform or worse.
And, the provider would not have the deserved bad reviews show on his ad.

If he has been around that long and has at least four different ads with different names, how can his statement quoted below be true?
"I am brand new and just created this."
He might be a great provider but his wording credibility could use some fixing.

I believe he said his age and ethnicity because the probablity of his being involved with something illegal or being an immigration violator is extremely unlikely.

Good luck but be careful if you hire this guy based on the negative reviews narratives.

Hi, you used abreviations in your post.  That makes it difficult to understand your post or what you are asking.
When you wrote "I've been single AF for most of my adulthood." Does that mean you have been serving in the United Stated Air Force?  If so, your retirement will be made a lot easier than if you have worked for a private company.
Again, if your mean Air Force when you wrote AF, you will not need to worry about medical expense if you retire from the Air Force.  There are many other benefits for prior military veterans honorably discharged.
Abreviations are sometimes nice but many times abreviation cause the meaning of a message to be lost.
If AF mean Air Force, please confirm and I can let you know of a lot of benefits that are not advertised for former military who have been discharged honorably.
