I don't know the details, but essentially Boytoy was either bought or in some other way merged into GayGuides.  Think of GayGuides as the new home for the content that used to be on Boytoy.  So all of the content under the old domain was moved somewhere under the new one.  Unfortunately the technical team at that site did not leave good redirects to take users from the old address to the new one.  That means older posts/threads that referenced that original boytoy.com domain don't necessarily end up making its way automatically to the new location and can appear as broken.  
So it's not you doing something wrong.  It's technically not even them doing something wrong.  It's just that they did not leave good "digital breadcrumbs" to point you to where the content has moved over the years.  Think about if you moved from one house to another...  if you did not leave a change of address or your change of address expired, you would have a hard time finding someone who moved without manually trying to figure out where the new place is.   

I think the reason that it is listed this way is the lobby area is largely windows and they do not permit nudity there.  But other than checking in and out of the resort, there is little use of the lobby unless walking through on your way out, in which case you would be clothed anyway.

There will be a variety of opinions about what 'should be' the going price in any city, but 'should be' doesn't make it so. Escorts have the option of setting any price they want, and clients have the option of paying it or not. The going rate in a market is what it is, what someone thinks it should be won't change that. Is hiring an escort a luxury? Maybe, maybe not. Not all escort experiences feel like a luxury, and from reading these forums as long as I have, a luxury price tag is no guarantee of a luxury experience.  Businesses like to portray their products or services as luxurious but reality bites, and they have to offer a product that's truly outstanding or offer a service tailored to a price point they can achieve. Escorts are not exempt from that economic reality. As @BuffaloKyle said $300-400 seems to be where the NYC market has landed. You can wish it were otherwise (higher or lower) but don't hold your breath.
I'm not altogether sure that this thread will elicit any new insights that threads about prices haven't already offered, but we can hope.

If you're a fan of classical Greek history, then you should realize that this concept of "gay" / bi and "straight" didn't exist 2400 years ago.

Alexander the Great was most likely "gender blind" which is the state of sexuality where by you fall in love with the PERSON not the PARTS.
Being an army man, his time was spent more commonly among other men and the bonds of brotherhood in the battlefield can be very intense. That bond would naturally lead to physical affection when today's homophobic prejudice is removed from the formula.

^This is your opinion. It doesn’t apply to all providers. Maybe some, sure. Many of us take the no negotiating stance and stick to it. It costs me business to operate this way, but then again, I want clients who value me as much as I do. That’s a net positive in my book.
Good for you when you find mutually beneficial arrangements through negotiation, but I wouldn’t characterize this approach as the way the world of hiring works. It’s mixed.

In Latin American there will be different cultural cues and the ones that work for you in the US may not work there. Any disappointment would be that you can't find what you want, not that it isn't there.

Similarly, I'm finding better and better hotel rates in Manhattan this year as well.  I like to visit late May or early June.   In 2018 the best I could find was a crammed 150sq ft Queen Room for $350/night in Hell's Kitchen.  In 2022 I paid $400/night for a better rooms in Tribeca and Midtown.  This year, I booked a 300sq ft King Room in Chelsea for under $250/night.
I'll be in NYC for 13 nights.  I already have 2 well-reviewed escorts lined up.  One advertises $300/hr, and the other told me $250/hr and he's "not a clockwatcher".  If I can find more at that rate, I'll be hiring every other night!
