Yes, it's way cheaper if you use the local escort websites instead of Rentmen and chat with guys through Whatsapp instead of texting. If you use Rentmen guys have the expectation you will pay them LA/NYC rates. Most guys in Mexico City can be had for 1800-2300 pesos (which is about $90-$115) I believe in Colombia it is even lower. Not sure about Brazil, though.

in Latin America, I only have experience in CDMX and RJ.....yes, cheaper

Rather than taking a provider to an airbnb, if meeting with a guy in Brazil for only a sexual encounter, there are countless "hourly" hotels in Rio and Sao Paulo.  The providers know where the "hourly" hotels are located. 

The hotels cost around $R20 per hour unless you rent the "hourly" room for a longer period of one hour.

I have been to South America more than one hundred times and NEVER have I known of an escort charging as much as escorts charge in NY or LA.

For example, in NY or LA a "hot escort" could charge around $400.  At today's exchange rate in Brazil, that would equal R$2,041 local currency.  In all the times I have been in Brazil (or other South American countries), I have NEVER known or heard of an escort to even attempt to charge that kind of money.

My best experience of about 25 tricks qualitatively in Brazil these past months, unrelated to the appeal of lower rates overall, but just simply an extremely edifying sexual encounter in a structured setting with stable fixed charges, was a full hour at USD$60 that included 20% tip (not that I just got the tip). I don’t know what he turned over to the venue but I think he kept $40-50 for himself. In my neck of the woods I would consider this a $300-400 guy and he could easily bank $1,000+ in a Montreal strip club. Gorgeous and a natural vibe. He did not seem to be of desperate circumstances, had his own vehicle to get to the setting, and spoke a fair degree of English. I have not spent $200US or more while in Argentina or Brazil, but my travels there have not been beyond 2011.  But in retrospect today's fees there are NOT those of the US or Europe unless you're hiring via some of the escort websites.

To agree with those above and answer your specific question. Yes hiring in Latin America is definitely cheaper than hiring in the states. Where are the hottest and most varied guys? The rates reported for Brazil above are overpriced. In my contacts with advertising escorts I got rates between 200 and 300 Rials, being the most frequent rate 250 for a full hour, 400 for two hours.

Unfortunately, I did not have the chance to try any of those (several of them local pstars) because I was overtaken by sauna boys, asking me between 100 and 200 Rials.

I know this post is a year old, but I thought I had to respond.  I've only experienced Argentinian and Brazilian escorts.  The fees asked for have been way less than those requested in the USofA.  Rentmen guys in those two countries expect being paid what their counterparts in the US request.  But, if you engage the services of guys who are at the various saunas, their rates are far, far cheaper, under $100 U.S.

If you obtain escorts from the gay escort sites in the various countries and do not speak the language, expect your requested fee to be higher.  But even these rates are way, way reasonable than the current 2023 $300 and upwards range.

Many guys in San Francisco (newbies as well as veterans) are now asking for $350 and beyond.  My adventures during this year will be limited as a result of this, so it's South America for me in 2024.
