mike carey got a reaction from + Charlie in And we're back...
Our brief hiatus gave me pause to consider what I had gained from this site. A lot of insights, a place to talk about an eclectic range of subjects, a considerable number of people who I regarded as acquaintances whom I valued, in the moment if not more widely. Some of those are people who I would be happy to continue to have some sort of continuing relationship with outside the forums, but while the forums continued there was no urgency to build separate connections.
I'm not saying that I'll be contacting people left and right, or even for the moment that I'll contact anyone, but as was the case when the forum seemed on the edge of disappearing when Daddy died, I was forced to consider what there was here that was of such value that I'd want to try to preserve at least vestiges of it. It's something some of you may have already thought over these past few days, and those of you who have not, may want to do so now.
I hope that anything I do turns out to be an unnecessary precaution, but I'd rather make the choice now when I can than later regret not doing it while I had the chance.

Electricity, cable, internet - these are a few of the modern things we take for granted in this world as it has become. And these are things we miss the most when they go away and that we fail too often to remember how complex is their operation and maintenance and the armies of dedicated linemen, technicians, engineers and others who make them work, day after day, and who bring them back to us when they occasionally falter.
Now add to the list - The Company of Men.
And we have Radio Bob! A man who does all of this to keep this site going as a kind of sideline to his day job, and whom I also think does so as a labor of love.
And so, now add Radio Bob to that list of heroes who make our world make sense and who restore to us those modern marvels we daily depend on and take for granted until their absence makes us notice.
Thank you, Radio Bob, for your service and dedication to this community. You are a gift to all of us!

Yes, it means 'separate and distinct'. So queer places are discrete almost by definition. Whether they are discreet is a separate question.

Yes, I had seen that, but I was talking specifically about the text of his ad where it said, '... 19 stone muscular Es*** lad'.

mike carey reacted to Mark_in_SF in Do you like to chat with a provider?
I'm totally open to chatting. I love to meet new people and learn about their lives, including their jobs. My regular escort is a good conversationalist, smart, well-traveled, and very open about his career and sexual tastes. I doubt he's quite that chatty with most clients, but we're very friendly and talk for any remaining time (and then some, at times). So yeah, chatty is great when the man has something interesting to say. Just be honest and have a sense of humor.

So for a rushed, just-okay massage that lasted 35 minutes instead of the full hour, you tipped $100. You might as well start handing out twenties to people who almost hold the door open for you

I have reason to suspect at least one account posting in this thread may be the provider himself as:
- that account was just recently created
- that account has reported multiple topics that discuss the provider which were not found to be in violation of our community guidelines.
- that account also has an over the top glowing review of the provider.
Normally any one of three would not be suspicious, but combining all three does give me pause. Take that for what you will.

Makes you realise the value of it when it’s gone for a few days. I missed it. Thank you

Not true, the US has applied 10% tariffs as a baseline regardless of what applies to US exports. Australia has effectively no tariffs on US exports but we have 10% on our exports to the US.
