Right there! That’s it! Before the 80’s, by my calculation, it all seemed perfectly normal. Getting back to the original topic - teachers showering with students - I remember the Phys Ed coaches at my junior high and high schools showering with students at the end of their work day and except for my (silent) admiration of their hairy ample equipment I don’t recall thinking it was unusual. Nor do I recall them acting untoward. My first memory of a locker room is my Dad saying to me, “It’s just guys. Get undressed.” (Easy for him; my Dad was a STUD!) I’m old & fat now and I still think nothing of getting undressed in front of other men. Times have changed. I kinda get the “creep” factor of an adult male teacher showering with his students. But 40-50 years ago I thought nothing of it.

I recall going to BIBLE CAMP in the 70’s (‘77 or ‘78) and the college-age cabin counselors would shower with the boys. Nobody thought anything of it. One counselor I can see in my mind to this day was what I now know was a perfect Castro clone specimen … even before I knew what a Castro clone was! (White briefs. Moustache. Dark hair. Hairy chest. Treasure trail.) My own cabin counselor was a trim, taut hairy blonde guy with a big dong who didn’t wear underpants. Even the “visiting minister” showered with the boys; by day he was a nerd but naked in the shower he was a hot dude! I think the 70’s were the last decade where boys were told that is was “OK” to be naked with other boys; that it was no big deal. Over and over I heard, “It’s just the guys! Get over yourself!” when we expressed trepidation about group showers and locker rooms. I used to go with my Dad to his father’s club and walk through the locker room filled with mostly naked men, a cloud of cigarette smoke and an ocean of Scotch. Sure, one looked but one didn’t point or laugh or stare too long. My grandfather would introduce me to his friends and everyone was cool. I get where the OP’s experience might suggest a certain “creepiness”, but given the time frame suggested I think it was just accepted as the norm. Looking back, do I think one or more of the adult men showering with boys to be a creepy voyeur? Yeah, probably. I guess as long as it didn’t go beyond showering next to each other it was all right. Or, at least, “not wrong”. I’m so f*cking old.

Darling, you’ve probably just dodged a bullet. I understand the disappointment; it’s happened to many of us. Consider yourself lucky. Give yourself a day or two and then start planning your next encounter. Thank you, also, for telling the community about your experience.

I am throat-swabbed and anal-swabbed every 3 months at my local university’s men’s clinic. At the same time the lab draws the blood to check for the other STI’s, and I do UA as well. They renew my Prep and other meds at the same time. Great group of men and women working there.

I like it when I get a text afterwards saying “Thank you.” (Or some version thereof.) Small gesture but it means a lot. I like it, also, when providers let me know when they are going to be in my area so that we can plan ahead.

Absolutely he's looking for business. He's got a lot of competition. Take I-17 or I-10 through the Phoenix metro area and count how many "attorney" billboards you see along the interstate. He may just be looking for business but my initial reaction is that dude has got some pretty big balls to make a video advising anyone charged with soliciting to contact his law firm. You're not gonna see THAT on a roadside billboard. I want to believe that my compadres here at CoM are all doing what they have to do in order to minimize exposure; see @azdr0710 above. I get great advice, great insights and great recommendations here.

Full disclosure - I saw him in Sept 2021 in Albuquerque. At that time his photos were dated and he had put on weight, although, truth be told, I like some chunk on a man. It was fun to watch this sort of pole dancing up-close and nude (or nearly-nude); I got 3 pole dances in an hour for three hundred. Not a totally polished performance but good enough. He allowed me to video his dances; I still have one on my phone. What bothered me most was he shook me down for an extra fifty at the end saying it was a fee he had to pay to the borrowed studio where he performed for me. This was not disclosed in advance. I could have walked out, and probably should have, but I paid the fifty. I was unable to post a review on RM as we did not message through the app or website. With this in mind I would not recommend. Pretty to look at (in my opinion anyway) but kind of a jerk.

I agree with you 100%. Plus with the ubiquity of Uber and Lyft, not to mention cabs, there really is no excuse. (And allow me to add that I say that as someone who’s “been there”.)

Years ago, like 10+ years ago - or more! - a provider told me he never negotiated the 1st hour but would discount the 2nd and subsequent hours. (This was in Las Vegas when $150/hour got you a quality experience at the time. Yes, I am that old.) I have no problem negotiating if I’m asking for 2 or more hours and I’ve never felt that I’ve received “less than” 100% when the provider agrees. Perhaps I’ve just been lucky. YMMV. Only once did a provider tell me “No” to a discount for a 2nd hour. “My rate is my rate and I’m worth what I’m worth,” is what he told me at the time. (And yes, he was!) If I’m hiring for only 1 hour (a rarity) I will pay the stated rate with no negotiation. Trite but true - you have to treat people the way you want to be treated.

I will hire a provider for $300/hour before I hire one for $250/hour “plus tip”. Anytime I’m told the rate is “plus tip” my response is a very polite, and very respectful, “Thank you. I won’t trouble you further.” And then I don’t.

Full disclosure - no experience with that provider. BUT that is a name and location change for that provider. He used to be on my BL and he used to be in Los Angeles and he used to have a different user name - but I can’t remember what his previous user name was.

I saw ChicagoTopper when he visited Albuquerque … this was a year or two ago. Tall and slender (lean and toned if memory serves), he has the longest legs I can recall seeing on a man and he moves and talks with a particular grace. He makes bikini underpants look good. Handsome man; he doesn’t show his face for privacy reasons but I can assure you he’s very good looking. What I remember most is how he was able to enter me - top me - with an expertise and precision I had never experienced before - so smooth and no hesitation or pause. I hadn’t felt anything like that before and haven’t since.
