You should absolutely tell them. Part of the whole idea behind hiring an independent masseur, either for an in call or an out call, is the sense of privacy as opposed to going to a spa with others around. As a client, I always go to the masseur's place. I've had a few times when the masseur had company. One time, it was the sister of the masseur and another was a guy who hid in the bathroom except I needed to use the bathroom before the session. Very awkward. Another time, the masseur informed me ahead of time that his landlord was in the house (he rented a bedroom) and he said he told the landlord that I was just a Grindr hook up, not a client. He didn't want him to know what he did for work. I never saw the first two masseurs again because the surprise was just too weird, and frankly, disrespectful. I should not have been put in that position.
I can only imagine that the masseur in your situation felt similar. The surprise of finding another person there probably made him nervous. Was this a sting? Was he going to be robbed or beaten up? At least give them a heads up and let them make a decision for themself.

I'm going to be meeting them as a duo soon and will report back.
After 30+ years of hiring, this will be my first threesome, believe it or not.  Excited and nervous at the same time.  I can't remember the last time I was nervous about an encounter and that makes it a very exciting for me.  Perhaps this is exactly what I need to shake things up with my hobby that has gotten rather boring of late.
I'm hoping for the best and mostly relying on their experience to lead the way but if anyone has any advice on doing a threesome for the first time, I'd very much appreciate anything anyone has to offer.

Saabster reacted to + DynamicUno in Dear clients, would you rather hire a bisexual or gay provider?
Definately prefer to be with guys that identify as gay or bi.  The dynamic of being with a straight guy often feels off and disconnected.  Worst case is a guy that has to have straight porn playing during the session.

it blows my mind that people think that if they have someone coming over- paid or not - that you should have to consider whether you have to tell them they are walking into a space where someone else may be there or not: OF COURSE YOU SHOULD TELL THEM.
     Jesus Christ!
if you walked into a providers house and there was someone else sitting there, unknown and unexpected to be there, you too would freak out or be unnerved,  regardless of how sex positive they profess to be AFTER THE FACT.
have some basic decorum and manners. PLEASE.

I’ve had this happen. I think I’ve written about it previously but I’ll mention it again here because it’s relevant.
I did an outcall one time to a client and his young daughter was with him when he answered the door. In fact we used the room she had been playing in for the massage. The client had intended we use a garage (integral to the house, a townhouse over 3 stories) but it wasn’t suitable so he moved the session to the ground floor play / tv room. As I was setting up the table he asked her to “go upstairs to mummy while daddy has his massage”….
Once she was gone I checked with him that he understood the nature of the service, as in we’d both be naked and it would include sexual activity and he confirmed all ok. He’d clearly seen my advertising etc so couldn’t have been in doubt but given his wife and daughter were upstairs and knew he was having a massage I did wonder…
What’s worse is he didn’t even lock the door and during the session I could hear them upstairs. I asked him if this was ok and he was adamant we’d not be disturbed.
I didn’t meet the wife, or daughter again fortunately as I think it would be even worse to see them afterwards. The client behaved like it was all routine…maybe it was a turn on for him because it certainly didn’t seem to inhibit him…he was hard as soon as he got naked.
I really don’t mind if there’s others in an adjacent room. I’m also fine if they know what’s going on. I’ve done live shows and workshops including having full sex and things like being a demo model for the use of sex toys so it’s not a problem to me. I also have clients who are married and they both have massages from me while the other one watches.
However in every situation it’s been agreed beforehand. It’s just polite and respectful to ask, and of course some situations such as the one above where I knew his daughter was upstairs are very disconcerting. He should have told me that might be the case when booking.
I think that for most people they want discretion and privacy in such situations. If you as a client have any circumstances where your place isn’t going to be private then it’s best to let your provider know then he can decide. The default expectation both ways is of privacy.

If I went to someone’s home, expecting to be alone with the person and see that other people are in the house without being told, I too would leave. It would not feel safe. It’s weird that you wouldn’t tell the therapist that you had a roommate or think that you should’ve. Would you have appreciated walking in to the masseur’s studio and encountering a roommate or spouse he failed to mention?

Yes you should have told him your roommate was there. Reverse the situation. Would you be comfortable if you were going to his place and unexpectedly found his roommate there?

I had a situation with another well reviewed provider on RM and on here. We had arranged an outcall a couple of days in advance and re-confirmed the day of. Then a couple of hours before the agreed time, he texts that he wants a deposit. I told him no and if he wanted a deposit he should have told me upfront so I could contact a different provider. That is total BS.

And that gentlemen is how a quality provider addresses a bad review.
It's a brief review of the facts from their perspective, a very short critique of the party that they feel wronged them, followed by description of their services, including why clients should be motivated to hire them. As an added bonus here, we even have a proposal to attempt to resolution with unhappy clients.

Hello all, this is Matthew, the owner of this profile .. I was, indeed, hacked!  It's absolutely embarrassing the way this person was conducting themselves and I hate one of you lost money, but glad it was only one and it was only $50. Thank you so much to my loyal clients that reached out to let me know about this!! I was not in New York (been at my home in Charlotte, NC since returning from my last trip to Chicago in early March), and they changed the phone number and email - so I wasn't getting any notifications. The support on rent masseur is not great, so I don't understand how this happened! But I was able to recover control and change the password.  I've been in the industry over 8 years now and take pride in my work! Many clients all over the country can attest to this, and I always conduct myself in a professional way! I have not ever required a deposit to see me, my work speaks for itself when you experience my session!! I do have the Venmo name they used and will be reporting it. To the gentleman that unfortunately got scammed by this dead beat - I will gladly credit you this as a discount should we ever meet!
These are the two profiles I have, and it's the same NC phone number on both

Saabster reacted to + BenjaminNicholas in Providers - how often do you get stiffed?
I've never been stiffed on my rate for time, but was once taken for a rather large hotel bill.
Client was a solid guy for 15+ years.  He was visiting NYC.  Suite at the Carlyle.  His card was giving him issues, so I graciously put down a cc and he agreed to make sure I was paid back.  I didn't think there'd be an issue.
There was an issue.  A $24k issue.
Moral of story:  Don't confuse being gracious and being stupid.
I ended up getting my money back.
From what I was told, he eventually ended up dead, pulling this same bullshit on people who weren't so understanding of his con.

Saabster reacted to Jamie21 in Rate question (no its not what you think)
I get asked for discounts…the answer is always ‘no’. Usually the client goes away without booking which is good because I don’t want to see them. In the instances when they do book (paying the normal rate) there’s usually hassle: they either cancel last minute, turn up late or when it comes to paying their credit card doesn’t work etc. There’s always some drama to their session.

Asking for a discount is a red flag to me. If my rate is too much for you by asking for a discount what you’re effectively saying to me is “I don’t think you’re worth what you think you’re worth”. That’s not a good start and in my experience it doesn’t improve so that’s why discount requests result in no booking. There’s enough clients out there who will pay the rate so why reduce it?

So I'm going to have to second what a couple of posters have mentioned.... he was very aggressive, and only liked to do things his way. If you're into being dominated then he's probably a great fit. He wants you face down and to be banging away - no moving or adjusting positions on your part.  I've no objection to going "all the way"  during an erotic massage if it comes to that, but not like this. Hard pass for me.
