I hired him about 10 years ago. Odd experience. Not a massage and not sensual. I was fully dressed, stretched out on the floor while he circled the room lecturing me about my alignment. A generous description would be fringe physical therapy.
But that was a long time ago. I would call and ask him to describe his services and setup. He advertises 30 minute appointments. Ask him why...
FYI he's not hiding. Phone in the ad is listed in his name.

I took the risk and saw MarkAnthany. The person I met is not likely the person in the picture. Their age and look are quite different. I know, someone will say that I should've left right when that happened, but for whatever reason, I didn't. The massage was a B-, sensual was alright. But I would not repeat, it's not him, and I'm not sure how he got reviews saying hte pictures are accurate... Maybe he had different ones up before, but the single pic on there isn't him.

i'm happy to report that i took the plunge yesterday and he did not disappoint. massage was B+, nude most of the time, and very interactive. $200 for erotic massage. he was responsive to my texts and i found him personable and kind. he is currently in grad school and works nights managing a bar downtown. and as an aside, i did not experience his frame as at all small!

Massage was super light, more like a Swedish rub.  He got nude towards the end and there was MT & HE.
Nice to look at and cross off the list, nothing more, nothing less.

Yes, I've also seen it translate into a refusal to take responsibility if something beyond your control affects you. The aforementioned late, bitchy Latino was a textbook case of that.
Guess what. I've been late to job interviews because there was a car accident (beyond my control) that stopped traffic. They cancelled the interview and someone else got the job. In real life, it's not an excuse - it means I should have left my place earlier to get there. These kids are going to have to learn life the hard way. In particular, Latinos need to realize that they're living in America's time culture, not Latin America's.

The younger generation's way of thinking is the result of parents from our generation telling them that they deserve everything good and nothing bad. That has translated into self-entitlement, self-centeredness, and attention seeking. It's not that cut and dry, but overall, culturally speaking, that's what we can normally expect from them. Additionally, some providers seem to think that because we're the clients and willing to pay them, that we are also willing to wait or put up with whatever nonsense they come up with.
Like others have mentioned, be clear about the scheduling and timing, and cancel if he's not willing to honor your schedule. Of course, within reason, meaning, sometimes there are legitimate reasons for being late.

When I book a masseur, I am looking for a genuinely good massage... At least for the first 90 minutes of a 2 hour session.  What happens in the last 30 minutes of a 2 hour session is unexpected.  I will tell you this: I won't return to a masseur who gave a mediocre massage but threw in a happy ending.  But I will always return to a masseur who gives a thorough deep tissue massage, and just happens to brush up against the goods at the very end.

I have noticed that you can be disappointed when you hire for sensual or erotic, I always hire for therapeutic, which often morphs into sensual or erotic.  If it doesn't it's OK because therapeutic is what I hired for, after all.

Answer to title question: yes. Every client, no, but most, yes.
No masseur is obligated to provide a HE, but almost all clients want and expect one, especially from an independent masseur advertising on m4m platforms. Unless the masseur explicitly advertises “therapeutic only” or similar phrasing, with appropriate pricing to match, the norm is to provide some level of erotic elements. What those are and how far they go varies widely.
I agree with @nycman’s post in almost every respect.
Full service during a massage (i.e. penetration) demands escort pricing and client agreement on said pricing beforehand. Otherwise you’re leaving a lot of money and self respect on the table. Please don’t do this, for your sake, and for the sake of others in the profession who have to deal with incredibly unreasonable client expectations of us to provide escort service for a massage price.
If you’re not skilled at massage, I recommend sticking to escort service. There’s nothing more disappointing than a massage from a provider who has no idea what he is doing. You can learn, of course, but until you develop your skills, I recommend not advertising massage.

Yup. Best not to judge a book by its cover.
All kinds of people want service, including those with menacing gang tattoos, hard faces, or they’re in denial, or never had an experience like this before. Meet them where they’re at. They’re deciding to see you, which means they want to be there. Have an open mind. Use caution and good sense. Communicate when something is unclear. “Is this ok? Are you comfortable when I do xyz? Would you rather I do abc?”
Some clients are just weird. Not dangerous, just awkward. Some people are on a neuro-atypical spectrum. Some are just nervous. All of this is fine and normal. Take it in stride. Read the client and respond appropriately.
    Protect yourself when necessary.

I think a single post-session text is nice. I don’t mind being asked for a review either or being informed that an out of town provider will be visiting.

I don’t want to be “spammed” or get a weekly text, but a nice follow up or occasional outreach is fine with me.

Yes, it’s a double standard but that’s a client’s privilege to reach out if/when he is ready for another session.
It’s kind of like some of those marketing emails that are difficult, at times practically impossible to unsubscribe from. Sometimes the only thing you can do is block. Geez, I bought one shirt from one retailer and now they feel entitled to my attention and dollars forever.
It’s a bit different hiring providers, but the principle applies. After I thank him and send a note of appreciation and welcome to return, I leave him be.
When he’s ready, he will be back. Niggling won’t make him want to hire any sooner or more frequently - quite the opposite.

I think that's the way to go. I appreciate a "had a nice time, hope to see you in the future" kind of message after a session but it should definitely stop there if the client doesn't ask for more. I definitely find pushiness off putting.

Recently I've had a few massages where the massage went well and then, after a few days, the provider will start regularly following up via text trying to get me to book another appointment, one even called. After saying no a few times and still continuing to get texts, I've ended up blocking numbers from providers who I likely would have ended up making a second appointment with had they not been texting a lot.
I guess it's a weird double standard that I expect them to be open to receiving my text whenever I am ready to book for another appointment but get creeped out when they're reaching out to me... but I don't like it! Has this happened to you? Thoughts?

Reached out to him the other day.
He quoted me 200 sensual, 250 erotic.
I asked him about the difference and he said sensual is with underwear, erotic is nude and release.  It’s a pass for me.

The last 2 masseurs I visited had dogs and the only way to calm the dogs down was to let them in the room with us, which I did not like. I guess I'll have to inquire about pets before booking in the future.

Hard to tell because of the angle of the pose and distance b/w model and photographer.  But clearly not the same age.  Looks like a trip down memory lane to me, IMHO

Wait, you still when through with it???
I’ve been ghosted a few times, and certainly had several episodes where the escort showed up late. Now, if it’s more than 15 minutes past the appointed time with no communication, I just assume it’s not gonna happen and I move on. Strangely enough the worst city for me was Toronto (Vegas is a close 2nd). Had several no shows or "I’ll be there in 15 minutes" (which was always the first communication over 1 hour after we were supposed to meet). All the late guys were pissed off when I told him I had already made other plans. I thought it was hilarious that they expected me to sit around and wait. Anyone who treats their customers that way won’t be in business long.
I’ve been hiring long enough that the first sign of shenanigans gets shown the door immediately. I’ve never regretted it.
That said, I’ve waited over two hours for a guy who seemed sincere and kept communicating the whole time. It was worth it.
For the record, the most professional/reliable city for me is London.

Only once. He was a travel-only masseur and he didn't show up for our scheduled appointment, so I texted him to ask where he was and he responded two hours later saying he had some fake-sounding pet emergency and had to rush to the vet, and gave me a spiel about how dedicated he is to his clients and almost never misses appointments. We rescheduled and he showed up that time, and he was fine. Two months later he hits me up asking if I want to rebook, and I say sure, why not. He doesn't show up for the scheduled time and I text him to ask where he is and no response. I finally hear from him months later, and he claims he couldn't pay his cell phone bill and it got cut off, and asks if I want to rebook. I feel kind of bad for him and say sure. He doesn't show up again for our appointment and I don't even bother to ask where he is. Fine, don't take my money. He disappeared from all of the masseur sites shortly after that. Hmm I wonder why.
