I appreciate Simon Suraci's post since he sees the big picture, not just a one sided "why don't other people do what I want?" point of view.
I get how irritating it can be for providers.  Customers who flake.  Customers who expect more than is reasonable for the rate charged (i.e., want a full service escort at an erotic massage rate).  Customers who lack basic social skills.
On the flip side, it isn't like clients are always treated fairly or with respect.  I "read between the lines" once on a Rentmasseur ad.  The ad was so over-the-top in its wording, things along the lines of "I will give you a hard and deep massage with every part of my body."  One would have had to be completely naive or stupid to not "read between the lines" of that ad to assume that the massage would be very erotic indeed, and his rate was at the top end of masseurs in my area at the time.  Guess what happened during my appointment?  Nothing erotic at all.  The guy never even took off his tank top, did not allow me to touch him, and avoided touching any area near my genitals.  Had I wanted a strictly therapeutic massage I would have looked for that and paid half his rate.  I definitely felt ripped off, and I know this guy knew what he was doing -- being overly suggestive in ad text and photos in order to lure clients into paying his high rate, and then under-delivering at least for some people.  It bothered me so much that the next guy I reached out to I basically wrote a summary of my previous disappointment and indicated I was looking for something more erotic than that.  I still didn't ask the guy to be explicit about what he would do, but he replied with an assurance that he was more engaging than that and that I wouldn't be disappointed.  He lived up to his word.
In summary, most guys have offered service consistent with how they presented themselves in their ads but there have been a few here and there whom I viewed as outright con men.  So, if you're a provider, try not to be too upset when someone is trying to clarify in advance more about what they can expect if they hire you.  I get that starting an exchange with "do you provide a happy ending" is tacky and I'm not suggesting that you should even bother to reply to someone like that.  But if someone knows how to have a more nuanced conversation, don't be mad just because they want a bit more clarity about what you are offering.

Fair enough.  In a twist, I’ve had some who quoted less than I’m accustomed to paying.  In those cases, I paid the customary rate if they exceeded my expectation.  That’s a form of tip 
But, in general, I think tipping culture is getting whacky right now.

I'm sure we all do, but also. Even fun things, it sucks when they become unaffordable. So it's not unfathomable that people would complain about rising rates. But for the totally valid reasons you said, that doesn't mean providers raising their rates is wrong. Their bills and fun are all going up in price just the same as it is for us. It's all ultimately a larger issue of society as a whole becoming more and more unaffordable for everyone and it hits everyone on both sides of any transaction.

My younger self (admittedly also not so financially priviledged): anyone flying business domestically is fool to waste their monies for such a short flight. Not economical, hence not worth it. Couch seat or budget airlines serve same purposes. The same line of thinking on regular hotel v. 5-starred inclusive resorts. Hotel only for sleep, why waste monies on the likes of resorts.
Me current self (with better financial means): i like it, i can afford it, hence i am buying it.

The first time I met Vin Marco, we walked along the boardwalk at the Jersey shore. You just joined here and are asking this loaded question. Why don’t you tell us what motivates you to hire, if you do? And how long have you been engaging in this hobby? And why? I think we deserve to know where you are coming from before responding.

We simply have a very different views. To me, such comment is a mind game, but a pro move nonetheless. Professional to me simply means one is excellent at what they do - are they honest or ethical? Thts beside their competency.
I simply see that sort of comments as part of escorting business - so a provider excell at such game is a pro from my pov. Whether or not I be keen to participate in the game is another story.

I know for fact all of my regulars (who advertised as a T only) do bottom (for the right guy or right price). Doesnt negatively affect my experience with them (me as a B). I think key point should be their technical skill. So long as he perform great, I couldnt care less what is his preference in his personal time.
If any, I always try to get them to bottom in a 3s for me to watch.

Second this. Had many of these perks, in various forms. And for obvious reasons, I would never speak of them in details to others. 
IMO membership/loyalty program works best in a non-interpersonal relationship. 

I agree.  I've certainly gotten some perks (extra time, etc) from a few of the guys I hired the most, but I never posted that on the forum or included it in a review.  I considered those expressions of appreciation to me as a frequent customer, not something that provider was necessarily going to offer everyone.  It's on them when and if to communicate some "bonus" to a repeat customer.  
I will add that most guys that I hired more than once never offered me anything extra; these extras only came from providers I had hired many, many times over more than a year, which means a small amount of men for me since I rarely found someone I wanted to hire more than a couple of times.
