I'd say yes. He may want to get them biopsied.

Again,  NEW trains are almosr inpossible to put anywhere someone wants them because we ripped up a lot of the old tracks and put up buildings and roads all over then routes. Building a mile of new track might entail buyimg out a couple hundred million worth of real estate and THEN having to tear it down before you've actually built anything. Now multiply that by the number of miles long a route needs to be for it to make sense.
These other countries with good systems built the cities around the rails, not the other way around. You can't get there from here. We'd be better off subsidizing bus travel and making it appealing to get more cars off the road.

I mean 39 is middle-aged. "Daddy" was never reserved for senior citizens. Some people marry right out of high school and have grandkids by 40. 
Plus someone saying they are 39 on the internet is generally assumed to be shaving anywhere from 5 to 35 years...

It's very hard to tease out correlation/causation on college degrees and earnings since employers made them a requirement and simultaneously the collapse of unions led to plummetting wages in most jobs that don't require a degree. But you absolutely shouldn't go six figures in debt in your early 20s unless it's to be a doctor. Too many people go to the "best" school they got into(i.e. most expensive) asuming it will all work itself out and that simply isn't how it works anymore. 

It hasn't helped that for decades a lot of companies insisted that everyone, includong the people whose job was just to answer the phone,  have four year degrees.

And the reality is a couple of million is enough to retire from an ordinary paying career, but it's not enough to sustain an expensive lifestyle indefinitely in the US...medical/elder care issues can easily burn through a lot of that very quickly. Think about it. Hiring an escort a day for an hour or two would run you over $100k per year. Using the 3% rule of withdrawal you'd want a bankroll pushing 3 million just to be able to do THAT in perpetuity. Then meals, lodging, travel...of course assuming you don't relocate to a country where the exchange rate is favorable. But then you wouldn't be home...
