Lottery Fever: Have you caught it? Who would be the first escort you would call?

The lottery will likely surpass two billion dollars on Monday.  The expectation is that even with the economy lagging, people will find a way to buy tickets in record numbers.  I rarely buy tickets but I have bought some for the last two and will buy some for the next lottery.  So 20 bucks worth for me.  So far, I have won $38 dollars. So a net loss of $2 thus far.   I do not exactly have the fever, more I have an case of lottery sniffles.

This has lead me to consider which escort would be the FIRST one I would call.  I have not decided if I would call one of my regulars or try one off my wish list.   I would definitely eventually call my regulars and I am sure they would be well compensated for their efforts. 

So do you have the fever, the sniffles or are you masked up and fever free?   

Who gets that first call. a regular or a wish list buy?  You may name names if you so desire.

I was trained in a profession that requires analytical thinking. In other words…i can do math! 🤭

So i have never found myself getting pulled along in the excitement. I understand it - but I dont participate. 

If I were to end up with a windfall - would definitely call a regular for a dinner and a *big* celebration!  That is, after I call my tax guy! 😆  If no regular is available, I would be happy to search for a new provider.

Our lotteries in Canada seem to be capped at $70 million, and anything above that becomes extra $1 million draws.  And no taxes on lottery winnings, so you get the whole amount.  No decrease for a lump sum either, except on some of the scratch tickets.  Nobody needs $2 billion dollars ($2.7 billion CAD), but I expect I would buy some tickets if it wasn't a 5 hour drive to the US border!

I bought a $2 ticket.  It’s no different then someone who buys $100 worth of tickets.  The chance of winning are still next to nothing.  As far as escort goes.  No one.  lol.

I never play but bought a single $2 ticket last drawing and will buy one for this next one. I figure if I am going to win, it'll be a single ticket no need to waste $20. LOL. 

Plus I really don't want to win. If I had that much money, I would blow it all on drugs and men. I mean, I know myself and seriously, I would probably be dead in less than a decade. The weird part in saying that is no, I don't even currently have any addiction issues. But I know that I need a drive to work and do something each day and that much cash has a way of taking that away from people. 

Not going to turn it down though. LOL

Well.. unfortunately my religious upbringing bans me from participating in gambling ..so I don't partake.

I’m not sure winning the lottery would change my life THAT much. I’m already comfortable and can get whatever I’d like, within reason. My consumption habits lean conservative. For example, when I travel I usually stay in Airbnbs or small hotels, although I do splurge on business class internationally. I was appalled when US friends convinced me to join them for dinner at Belcanto in Lisbon, a Michelin 2-star, and the bill came to €440 per person with decent wines and mediocre to repulsive small plates. If I won, I’d set up several foundations to fund projects that animate me. As for providers, I’d rent nice apartments in Manhattan, LA and London, successively, and engage the cutest 15 guys in each one. After all, we’re talking close to $800 mm after taxes!

Like purplecow,  I don’t usually play the lottery but I have been bitten by the bug and have played in three recent Powerball drawings.  I will play again tonight as well. 
 

I agree with other’s comments that 1.9 billion is an obscene amount of money to win. I wish they would devise a game where the winnings are split between 100 different people in equal amounts. Change 100 peoples lives rather than one.

Correct.

Sex work was never mentioned....and to set the record straight. I generally hire masseurs, not sex workers. Not that I am opposed to hiring a sex worker if I am wowed enough.

In general, my religious background rarely mentions sex at all. So thankfully I didn't have to grow up with the shame that Catholics typically endure.

Gambling was specifically called out as a sin.

The Powerball drawing scheduled for Monday, Nov. 7 remains delayed due to one participating lottery needing additional time to process its sales and play data. As soon as the required security procedures are completed by the one outstanding lottery, the drawing can proceed.
