I've always heard and believed that a person shows his true character based on how he treats waiters, call center workers, or anyone in the service industry. If you dine with someone who is complaining, persnickety, and ready to stiff a waiter on a tip for no reason at all, you can rest assured you've met an unkind person.

I don't think you have to say anything. If he's an escort, he probably has other clients that you know nothing about. It's a blurring of the interpersonal lines that YOU feel a loyalty that the escort may not. Scrape away the sexual intimacy, and you're left with a business transaction. It's not rude to see and pay whatever escort you please.

I can't tell you how or with whom I discovered I am a nipple pig but it's been a revelation. Massage is all about communication, verbal and non-verbal. If it's a "masseur" I'd ask if mutual touch is allowed, if there will be a "happy ending," etc. From a business standpoint, if a masseur satisfies a client, said client may become a return client and provide goodwill through referrals from clients -- just what happens on these forums. Word of mouth is the best advertising.

This topic is irksome for me. As a licensed massage therapist, it's insulting to be lumped in with the "masseurs" who do perform sex work under the guise of giving massage. State laws governing massage therapists vary by state, but they are united in prohibiting a licensed therapist from engaging in any sexual contact with clients. Nothing would be "taken up a notch." The history of massage therapy in this country began as a coded way to describe a prostitute; this is the image that the profession is still battling against today. I realize there are websites such as masseurfinder that list "masseurs."  The rates tend to be a dead giveaway that there will be something sexual taking place. A legitimate hour-long massage should cost no more than about $120.00. If I see a rate higher than that, to me it's coded for there will be something sexual taking place.
As for those who hire these "masseurs" instead of escorts, I liken it to calling an eggplant an "aubergine." Different term, but it boils down to the same thing.

Surely, it's better and simpler to adopt a safeguard against STD infection and use it consistently and always? Wear a condom. If you take an HIV drug like Truvada or Descovy, commit to that regimen and stick with it.
