I am always amazed at the level of hot-looking men in New York.  Pages of absolutely gorgeous, muscled men on RM it boggles the mind.  I keep telling myself I need to fly to New York, get a hotel suite and hire about half a dozen of these men!  Unbelievable!

While not half a dozen, I went on a small run when I got a hotel and hired three back in 2023 lol. 

I need to do that again.

In NYC it's not just the professionals, just looking around in any direction will usually be "inspirational."  It is probably the thing I miss the most by my relocating.

That's the problem for me - there are so men hot men on RM that making a choice in NYC takes a lot of time.  Luckily this site helps me weed out some of them

I have to agree, not only are there many choices for all tastes, but to my surprise, I have never had a bad experience with a provider in NYC. I visit NYC about once every 3 months, and many times I treat myself.

Yes. If they’ve been “aspiring” long enough. So few actually make it through. Hence so many of the professional portfolio pics in a lot of the ads.

Knowing that some of the people they want to work for very much are clients, it's possibly a great networking opportunity. I definitely know there's actors/studio execs/producers/celebs that hire. Wouldn't really be much different than the actor trope of being server staff at a restaurant hoping a producer discovers them.

Similarly, there's definitely some aspiring/working male models of varying levels of success who are on RM with no issue. Probably working for some of the higher ups of the very companies/brands they walk the runway or do a photoshoot for in their day job.

I think this hobby has a certain "open secret" or "if you know you know" or "mutually assured destruction" type protection to it that makes it mostly a non-issue for certain fields like entertainment that already are so not normal compared to how other industries are.

Of course, they need to survive - they are not famous yet. They often try modeling (which pays peanuts for too much time and effort) or escorting. This happens in every major city in the world.

history and geography nut that I am, all this made me think of the piers along the Hudson River in the Greenwich Village area that were a popular gathering spot for men up to the 1980s or so.....declining cruise line traffic and New Jersey having better cargo-handling facilities led to a decline in Manhattan's piers for their traditional use......by the 1990s, the piers were cleaned up and converted to public parks or entirely demolished.......

Because when you're starting out, you don't KNOW you're gonna be a star. You just know you've got bills to pay and that there's plenty of horny gentlemen put there, who are interested in helping pay them.

Some are into the actor/dancer types and some like the straight football player, wrestler, military types who also need money. Thats the networking I excel in  Not to mention the blue collar boys who need to make child support payments.
