Thanks Start by getting naked. More seriously, advertising. Make sure that you have a brand and a way of marketing it. This service can be advertised in mainstream social media, if properly done.

jeezifonly Posted Saturday at 09:14 PM Posted Saturday at 09:14 PM This is a very clever idea, provided you already know how to clean well - having tools, products, organizational sequence, and the everyday hacks. Repeats will be scarce if clients have to hire an experienced cleaner after you leave. The Naked Maid

Thanks Advertise on platforms such as Locanto or Craigslist. You can also participate in local city subreddits or business focused communities where people ask for recommendations. Build a presence on social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and X by posting clean, professional content that showcases you at work while staying within each platform's guidelines. Use relevant local hashtags to improve visibility. Invest in a professional website with clear service descriptions, pricing, tasteful photos, testimonials, booking options and a well-defined conduct policy. A polished, transparent website goes a long way toward building trust with potential clients. Also, create a Google Business Profile to improve local search visibility. Finally, consider forming an LLC to separate your personal assets from your business liabilities and provide an additional layer of legal protection. nate_sf 1
nate_sf Posted Saturday at 10:03 PM Posted Saturday at 10:03 PM Would this be more for just kicks, or are you wanting to start a bona fide cleaning business? Either is OK, but that will depend on how you approach this. If it's just for kicks, yes Rentmen and Craigslist are good options. Be prepared to get flagged on Craigslist as there are some prudish people there who like to flag listings, but just roll with it. If there is a gay newspaper or mag in your area you could try that too. They might have online classifieds. If this is meant to be a business for real, first you'll need to be sure you can indeed clean well, naked or not. Then you'll need to do a bunch of tedious stuff to get the business set up, but each thing is important to keep you out of possible trouble: Most cities require a business license, so check the local requirements. Typically not expensive. If you'll be a sole proprietor, you should file a fictitious business name/DBA (Doing Business As) with the County, and in most places that's required to be posted in a newspaper for a certain amount of time (very old fashioned, I know). The Clerk's office is usually really good about providing guidance on how to do this. It might make sense to file this first, before getting your business license, so you can include your DBA on the business license. Even less fun, but really important if you're making a real go of this, is to get insurance. If you break something, or someone slips on one of your just-cleaned floors, you could be liable for damages and that could get expensive. Also having insurance demonstrates you're a serious business. If you're really ambitious, you can form an Limited Liability Corporation (LLC) in lieu of going as a sole proprietor. I'm not an attorney so can't speak to all of the legal stuff, but this will provide you with an additional measure of protection between you and the business. I went through all this recently in forming a new business entity. DM me if you need any advice. Also maybe check with these guys at Gay Cleaning in Orlando. I'd stumbled on them when I was looking for cleaners here in SF. I don't know if they do naked cleaning, but they might be able to give you some pointers on the other aspects of the business. + Vegas_Millennial, Jacob_b, thomas and 2 others 5
