Attention! – Annual Palm Springs Weekend, 2026

Please mark your calendars for the Weekend – April 11 and 12, 2026.  Specifics will not be posted here, in order to preserve confidentiality.  Therefore, if you are serious about attending this year’s events, please send an e-mail to me (if you know my address) or a “private message” with your return e-mail address so that I may send you the pertinent information as it unfolds.  Your confidential information will be respected, as I expect mine to be.

 The first order of business will be Saturday dinner reservations at a local contemporary restaurant, followed by RSVP’s for the Sunday pool gathering at my temporary residence, hosted by sam.fitzpatrick and nate_sf.  You will be asked to prepay the dinner fee prior to the event via either PayPal or Venmo (instructions will be sent later).

 If you will be bringing a “guest”, please tell me who. That information will also be kept confidential, unless you say otherwise. Attendance by escorts (by themselves or as someone's guest) is greatly encouraged.

If you will be coming from out-of-town and need accommodations, you should arrange for those ASAP, if you have not already. There have been several suggestions put forth in previous threads concerning possible accommodations.

Again, the dinner will be early Saturday evening, April 11, and the pool gathering will be in the afternoon of Sunday, April 12.

In less than a month, we'll be meeting!

I'm curious if anyone wants to meet up to do any other activities outside the dinner and pool gathering. We've done walks, hikes, bar hopping, the Palm Springs Village Fest, the Palm Springs Farmers Market, or just lounge away at the pool at the InnDulge.

A little last minute but I'd like to attend! Have heard wonderful things about past editions, glad its happening. Those dates will line up well with some other West Coast travel I'm locking in today. Looking forward to meeting and greeting

Just in case you are in two minds about coming.   Check out the rentmen section for Palm Springs.  Heavy influx of very hot looking men related to Cochella no doubt.  I can vouch for some personally and there are a few I would like to add to that list.

It's the first time since I moved to Los Angeles ten years ago that I won't be able to join all of you. Sigh. Unavoidable work conflict that for once I just can't do remotely. I'm already feeling the pangs of envy as the dates approach. Hope you all find ways to have a little extra fun on my behalf!

I have one somewhere. If I'm not mistaken, it is on United Airlines flight 97 from Brisbane to San Francisco, having decided, along with my bag and the rest of its contents, to take a direct flight, leaving me alone to take in the pleasures of a layover in Hong Kong en route. The 'umbrella', at least, I have not missed in the intervening period, and hope it will not be unfurled for the balance of my trip.

It seems the cool weather is coming in at an inopportune time for the forum members.  The weather has been in the low 90s for this week and it was perfect pool and tanning weather.  Seems starting Friday with a slight drop into the low 80s it will continue to cool off including Sunday so the pool may not get much use but I am sure other things will keep us occupied.

I can't imagine what could possibly replace a pool as a source of entertainment.
