Normally I'd think 8-9 inches on Monday would be the end of a wonderful weekend, but 14-17 would probably make me check my deductible for an ER visit. Ouch! Tell me where it hurts!

Blizzard Warnings are in effect for 30 million people from Maryland to Massachusetts, including in New York City, New Haven, Connecticut, Providence, Rhode Island and Boston. 

According to the FOX Forecast Center, this is the first Blizzard Warning in New York City since March 2017.

Snowfall totals of 1 to more than 2 feet are expected along much of the corridor, with intense snowfall rates and strong winds likely to create dangerous, potentially life-threatening travel conditions and scattered power outages. 

In several major cities, this storm could rank among the top 10 — and possibly even the top five — snowstorms on record.

What better way to spend a snowy day than listening to Gibb Brother solos!  It's been so long since I listened to a CD on my computer that I had to turn on a light to figure out how to do it.

Like the Pointer Sisters, only the eldest survives. The Gibbs died in inverse order of birth and I believe the same is true for the Pointers.  Sadly, Barry was on bad terms with each brother when they died.  Robin never even told Barry he had cancer.

I think some here are not comprehending what is going on in Puerto Vallarta right now. The place is under attack by the drug cartels and residents are being told to shelter in place. Flights have been halted from Canada.

Yes, that's exactly what's happening. We're still in code red, but it feels calmed. We took a walk around the area, lots of American and Canadian tourists were looting the grocery stores that got bombed. Many are in AirBnBs and private rentals, so they don't get food provided or restaurants like they do in hotels.

The whole thing is related to the capture or death of a cartel leader (the news are mixed on that). The airport is functioning at a minimum and many flights have been cancelled.
