I visit rent men each and every day, and visit profiles of most of the guys I'm interested in just as often. I'm now noticing a few guys putting a block on my ability to view their profile.

The reason I look at their profile is to see if they have a travel schedule up, and may be near me. If they ask me why I'm visiting their page so often, and occasionally they will, I'll reply as to why. I've no idea what's gained on their end for putting a stop on a frequent visitor to their profile. If I made an offensive comment that would warrant this action, I get it. Just looking, I don't.

Then you have cases - and this to me is a major head-scratcher - of guys who don't have a number contact AND don't have rent men messenger as a way to be reached. How in the Hell is anyone going to get in touch? By contacting a fellow porn star who also advertises that they've done a scene with?

Because some feel that you aren’t window shopping but are getting off from their pics with no intention to hire. So they’ll block.

I don’t think it’s personal. I think they get a lot of flakes contacting them, so they become rather jaded to anyone they don’t think is serious. @BuffaloKyle offered a good solution to avoid them knowing you are checking them out regularly.

As for the contact info, they usually have a number or messenger through the site, but it usually only can be seen once you log in. I have never encounter a providers ad that never had a way of contacting them (particularly after you logged in).

Also because they are trying to force people to use rent.men over rentmen.eu… rentmen.eu’s features are disabled and it doesn’t function like rent.men. The provider’s info may not be show up on the older version.

I am like you in that I will check someone's ad to see if a travel schedule is posted with any plans to be in the Denver area.  However, to prevent any issues, I usually log out before making multiple visits to their ad.  Even I have my settings as @BuffaloKyle has suggested, as an extra layer of precaution I simply log out.

Another strategy is to put the providers you're following on your buddies list.  Then, you can go to your buddies list and click on the "Buddy Activity" button.  It shows changes to travel plans as well as availability and the posting of new pictures and new reviews.  That way, you don't have to "lurk" on their profiles.

You need to adjust your settings so they don't get an alert you are visiting their profile. Go to my settings, then under account settings, click privacy. Then make sure the "Do not track me" option is enabled.

Thanks for the reminder to turn my “track me..” back off 🤣 Sometimes I turn it on to see if anyone notices, that’s worked when both provider and myself are “available now”. But my default is “don’t track me…”.

I do the same thing particularly for guys who travel a lot but don't live in my city. So i don't want to miss it if they are coming, but like others have said, i turned off the profile tracking. So they don't get a notification that tells them i visited their page.

From what i can tell, these guys do not want to be contacted. They may be on a break or not taking new clients at the moment but don't want to delete their profile. Or it also just may be that their RM subscription lapsed and they haven't gotten back online to re-up it yet.

I’ve blocked guys that constantly view my profile. I had a few guys that would check it every day so I reached out to them and no response. Just kind of creepy having someone constantly viewing your add who isn’t interested in meeting.

I see guys regularly checking out my profile, not daily but very often, and they never make contact to book or ask questions. It is strange but I don’t mind. There’s pictures of me all over the web so I guess some people look at those too so why should I be bothered by regular visits to my advertising? I think it’s probably guys who are building up to booking. If hiring a guy is new to you, and if you’re also new to being with a guy, maybe you’re exploring your sexuality then it can take a lot of courage to build up to making contact. I like helping those kind of clients so I’ll not do anything to discourage them.
