When? 2020. Why? Twinks with nothing but free time decided to bulk up and look hot so their 3rd leg could go with a more desirable body. I firmly believe the pandemic developed the twunk. I think the best example of this is Austin L Young.

I don't think that many twinks actually become twunks.  As a twink ages and gets more muscular, he will just be a muscular man (jock, stud, hunk, etc) but no longer a twink.  I know some delusional gay guys like to think they are twinks past their mid 20s, but to me a twink (and therefore twunk, which is just a muscular twink) is someone from 18 through early to mid 20s.  As an example, by the time Brent Corrigan put on muscle he was well past being a twink.

Twinks can't stay twinks forever.  Otherwise, they're just older thin men who look somewhat feminine (or androgynous).

You either decide to pack on some muscle or you end up like many former twinks, fit-fat with a soft stomach.

I have met attractive twink providers try to go twunk once they start to get older and less youthful looking.

Unfortunately, it only works if they get muscle when they're still young. Otherwise it's simply aging into muscleguy.

I think a lot of it is genetics.  Some people just have "baby faces" well into adulthood.  Men from that type of gene pool are the ones who can legitimately be called twunks as they get older and put on muscle because their face still looks young.  Of course staying out of the sun (especially if you're fair skinned) and avoiding or minimizing "partying" helps.  The only other twunks are guys who simply put on a lot of muscle when they are still very young adults.

Twunk is a much more understandable/intuitive term to me than zaddy. A twunk is more muscular than a twink but skinnier than a hunk. I still don't understand what a zaddy is.
