Has anyone ever found a new client through this forum or made a contact that resulted in a new hire here?

Yes, I DM'ed a retired (well, a no-longer-advertising) provider after he posted something.  We kept chatting and, after a while, I hired him.  He's now my regular.  So it's been a great success.

I, too, found a regular who had posted to this forum. He has since retired, but we got together several times while he was offering his services.

Yes I’ve found clients from this forum. I always ask new clients where they found me. A few say it was from here, which is fabulous. It’s a good place to interact; well moderated and generally respectful. I’ve also made some good connections with other providers.

I met @Daniel84 after I saw his posts on here, they made him seem down to earth and fun (which he turned out to be in real life as well).

As a client, my answer is yes, several. And if I may be so bold as to expand the question to include people I've met at the April Palm Springs gatherings over the years (events I only learned about because of these forums) and subsequently hired, then the number grows even higher.
