Different Rates for Different Clients

Is it customary for providers to charge different clients different rates for the same period of time or activity, as opposed to one set rate scale or menu applicable to all clients?

It's my experience that not all the time is the best answer.  Specifically when it comes to hiring over and over.  I pay rates lower than someone that hires once and moves on with several providers.

It's not customary and to most it's not a good business model...  but some escorts after a first meeting if the client is in shape, young(er) and easygoing they might reach out and offer him a lower rate for new encounters from now on.

I disagree on both points.

I have run across MANY examples where members here paid significantly more than I did. But those clients were also much older and fatter than I am.

That said.... the industry is sort of split between providers who can fuck anything that moves and those who are more selective about their clientele. It's neither a good or bad business practice just a different skill set for each.  Some will hold their nose and close their eyes for extra $. Other's just will decline the customer. And some will offer discounted rater for younger, better looking men who have provided photos to prove they are an easier meet up.

What I DO agree with from @marylander1940 is that a weekly or monthly client will often get better pricing for regular service.

Exactly! That's what I would call a reliable regular!

Btw my regular in San Francisco told me that at $300 the in call some clients are not even paying $1 per pound 😏😁🤐

Did they give you that deal after the first encounter because you're younger and in shape? I'm amazed about potential clients describing themselves 10 years younger and tens of pounds lighter to an escort they haven't met.

I’d say it’s more likely for the price to go up if the client is difficult or unreliable more than if they’re older or not in great shape. Certainly I’m not bothered about age or shape and that never affects the price. Everyone pays the same. However, I do find clients who are disrespectful, unreliable (flaky) or not clean more difficult to see and so those people, if they come back, will attract a higher rate. Call it an ‘asshole premium’. Usually when I tell them the rate for their next visit they change their mind. Job done 🙂

I only know I’m paying a different rate for some providers based on numbers I’ve seen here for the same provider. Couldn’t tell you why: Frequency? Appearance? Reliable? Clean? Years? I don’t know.

No. Unlike many people here, I have no problem providing photos of myself before a meet.

That further gets me a better rate, becasue I don't mind sharing a photo. They sent me theirs. Why not send my own.

Does the pay change if you're being hired by a couple? That is, 2 guys who might tag team you?

It make sense if the provider is mainly a top and someone makes a special request to top them.    I remember back when Paul Pratt was an escort he would charge a premium rate if someone wanted him to bottom.

I'm into kink/bdsm when I hire and some escorts will charge more for that vs. vanilla.

I tend to stick to a small group of regulars whom I see often. As their rates go up in an inflationary economy, what they charge me stays flat or at least goes up less. I also treat them with great respect.

Yes, if they’re both involved in the session. If one just wants to watch (it happens, some guys like watching) then I don’t charge extra.

While not applicable in most RM interactions, I assume the provider also adjusts his rate if he has any knowledge of how wealthy the customer is.  When meeting someone at a club or bar, I found that I got quoted consistently higher rates when I was wearing a suit and tie than when I was wearing jeans and a tennis shirt.  I found the same thing was true when I went shopping for cars.

I'm younger than you and look a decade younger than my age (most people guess I'm 35-40), and I'm also in good shape, as is my husband. We're also happy to share photos. Are we getting better rates? Maybe. I'd be curious to hear from providers if they offer a price and then deduct based on age and then deduct more based on fitness level and attractiveness. 

So it's like 1 hour = $400. Deduct $50 for under 60; Deduct $50 because the client's hot = $300. Is that how providers are treating some people?

My regular guy has told me he escalates prices on clients he no longer wants to see specifically if they have acted like a-holes in sessions.

I don't think it's a mark it up / mark it down sale-price situation as much as they want your business MORE when you're an easy lay. So it's an incentive price for the 40 year old fit daddy and an extra fee for enduring the 68 year old sweaty whale with saggy balls...

I didn't collect any photographic evidence here on C.o.M. but I do pay attention to some of the gentlemen here. Age and physical condition are sometimes shared...so I have a visual picture in my mind of a few people who like the same providers that I like.

My partner is an escort and from Colombia and I am a gringo from Boston.  When we travel back home to Cartagena to see his family, I literally let him do everything and I don't speak or negotiate.  A cab ride for me is $25, for him the same cab ride is $5. lol

I have been paying my (main) regular the same rate for years.....notwithstanding his rate (as per his RM profile) has gone up by $100. On the other side of coin, my other (less frequent) regular has just up his rate (twice this year) by a total of $100. 

Not for me to say which one is a better business model, but I know which one I will happily frequent more.

Some escorts hold off inflation adjustments for regulars they like. One guy would request $50-100 less than what he'd ask from a new client.
