caramelsub Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 (edited) I have heard mixed reviews on the use of Anal-Eze for anal play. I know some say you shouldn’t try to numb the pain of anal penetration, because of the risks of injuring yourself inadvertently. But I’m interested in exploring prostate/anal play, yet nothing feels good or stimulating up the back end to me, because of being too tight. Edited July 23, 2024 by caramelsub
Kevin Slater Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 No opinion on whether you should use it or not, but want to point out that Orajel has the same active ingredient at a much lower price. Kevin Slater rvwnsd, + nycman, + ButchAtl and 3 others 2 1 1 2
Thomas_Belgium Posted July 23, 2024 Posted July 23, 2024 They didn't work for me, I tried Boy Butter desensitizing & MrB relax. If you don't use a condom, it has a desensitizing effect on the top. Danny-Darko, marylander1940 and + robear 1 1 1

rvwnsd Posted July 24, 2024 Posted July 24, 2024 I tried Anal-eze and it burned like hell (I have very sensitive skin). So, there was no pain associated with the top fucking me but there was burning from the Anal-eze. And, no, it was not an STI. It started immediately upon it being applied to my anus. I had the same sensation when I later used Oragel on my gum after a toothache. caramelsub 1
+ JamesB Posted July 24, 2024 Posted July 24, 2024 I really would not recommend using numbing creams for several reasons, with the most important being the risk of injury without noticing it. Instead, I suggest taking your time and using toys or plugs. Start with a small one, and once you're comfortable, move to a slightly larger size. Keep increasing the size gradually until you reach your desired goal. It will be a slow process, so take your time and enjoy the experience. + Just Chuck, + Lucky, Luv2play and 5 others 4 1 3
Luv2play Posted July 26, 2024 Posted July 26, 2024 Pain is nature’s way of telling you that an injury is occurring in these circumstances when a foreign object is being inserted in your anus. Pay attention to what your body is telling you. The tissue around your rectum and inside is tender and needs to be treated with respect and prudence. Treat it well and it will treat you to some wonderful sensations. pubic_assistance, caramelsub, Danny-Darko and 5 others 3 5

That plus finger/toy play and patience you will eventually be able to take whoever you want and enjoy it. Just don’t rush it😘

+ WstVlgChris Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 Rather than Anal-eze, I've become a fan of anal supposities (Pacific Roots make them), which relaxes my butt so that the initial entry is much easier/gentler/pain-free than before. + Kevin Eagle 1
+ BenjaminNicholas Posted September 13, 2024 Posted September 13, 2024 As a top who's had bottoms use this before a fuck session and not say anything, it's no bueno. Takes away a ton of sensation. I don't want to pound the guy for a solid hour just to get close to blowing my load. This may be less of an issue if you're using rubber, but it could easily still find its way into the condom. caramelsub, Moke, marylander1940 and 2 others 1 4
caramelsub Posted September 14, 2024 Author Posted September 14, 2024 Thanks for the replies everyone. To be clear, I wasn’t thinking of using the numbing lube during intercourse with a partner. But just to help open me up while using a butt plug or toy. I am very tight, and it hurts for me to bottom. + Just Sayin 1

To this, I'd add not to forget being ready and receptive to enjoying sex is also a mental game. If you focus on how tight you are and anticipate the penetration being difficult or uncomfortable, it can become a self-fulfilling prophecy. As someone else mentioned, it’s your choice, but I’ve heard the same concerns about numbing creams like Anal-Eze. The risk is they can mask pain, which is your body’s way of telling you to slow down or stop. It’s really important to listen to your body, go slow, use lots of lube, and gradually increase toy sizes. It’s as much mental as physical—breathing exercises and relaxation techniques can also help. And if you go the partner route, a truly skilled top will help you relax and open up with very minimal discomfort.
mtaabq Posted March 17 Posted March 17 One thing I learned a long time ago that I really took to heart is that if it hurts you’re doing it wrong. Others have said it - I’ll repeat it. Use lots of lube and go slow. Work your way up. Don’t rush it. Take your time. Breathe. Relax. Take a break when you need it. That moment when your a** is filled can be magical. Silly? Perhaps. But that was how it felt to me that moment when I had 9 fat inches fully inside of me. It took time and patience but the payoff was huge both physically and emotionally. + ApexNomad 1
Thelatin Posted May 9 Posted May 9 A guy I see once in a while uses a desensitizer on his dick to last longer. All fun and games until it got in my mouth. There I sat on the bed talking like I just had a root canal. He was rolling on the floor laughing liubit, + nycman and thomas 1 2
