Anyone into large age gaps?

When I was 30s I dated guys my own age. As I got older I found I was attracted to younger and younger.

Now it's more like Granddad/Grandson than Dad/Son. My record gap is 54 years (72/18). Obviously my partners have to be legal age and consenting, not a problem as it's usually them chasing me!

I have never been attracted to guys my own age, always to younger. When I hire, my bracket is 18-25, 30 at the very most. Of course, I don’t card the guys, they can be older as long as they look the age I am looking for. In non-commercial hook-ups, I am more flexible, but usually not less than 10-15 years younger.

Full disclosure:  my current unpaid regular just turned 24, which means a 40-something year gap with yours truly. He is into daddies, and he is always horny as hell, pure dynamite in bed. We have great fun together.

Coming from the depths of rural Wales, it is not easy to meet anyone at all (let along muscular) therefore when I made friends with a bodybuilder who lived in Suffolk, I took it. The fact that I was 33 and he was 60 had no bearing on the subject at all.

I am still friends with him now, even more so since it was announced last year he is suffering from Alzheimer's

I love the younger of-age lot that on purpose enjoys the fun company of men much older than they are. Precious few will even spell it out in their ad that that is a turn-on for them, and even more rare, will exclusively see older guys. 

I'm glad that I didn't forever write off the 20-somethings, which I vowed to do after a disastrous hire of a 22 year old when I was in my mid-40s. The last man I saw with an age gap was 25 years my junior - I just think how hot it would be to be with him in over 10 years, since I found his maturity level to be well beyond his age.

When I dated ‘commercially’,  it was always a handsome muscleboy, ideally aged (or looking as if) 23-30. And my long term boyfriends have all been that age when we first met. My current boyfriend is 40 years younger than me and we‘ve been together for 10 years.

I know you said “usually” but I’ve ALWAYS been the top. And I love fit young men who bottom so readily for me.

Another reason I love younger men is that I have a dominant streak. I found that many muscleboys have a submissive streak and enjoy giving pleasure to an older man. When between boyfriends, I often found that younger men initiated contact and approached me.

As I get older the distance between me and college-age guys increases...so the gap keeps getting bigger.

Eventually I will go from "daddy" to "gramps".

One of the bests things about aging is more and more guys becoming younger.

Especially considering so many guys I found hot when they were in their 20's or low 30's simply stopped taking care of themselves or didn't age well.

When I was 18 I had a 7 year relationship with someone 20 years older.  The age difference was sexy and I felt loved and secure. Now that I'm more mature I love much younger pretty twink types.  I find that age gap just as sexy and they are always young men attracted to sexy older men.

I’m in a similar situation, 45 year age difference, long distance for now. We see each other 6-8 times a year, sometimes travel, sometimes just weekend.

What would you get for marrying this person ?

If you like someone's company, you stay with them. Marriage certificates don't confirm your love, they confirm your property rights and in most states split your assets 50/50 no matter who came in with what.

Unless you have built a life together and/or have children in see no benefit for you in marriage..but a multitude of benefits for your young friend should he marry and then divorce you.

At minimum, get a solid pre-nup, but beware even with a contract, judges have been known to call them invalid and push for the standard distribution.

I find it odd too ... that I'm engaging in this relationship and considering serious moves! We whatsapp chat multiple times daily and videochat at least once/week. The longest time we've spent together thus far is about a week, and we'll be spending two weeks together beginning 10 days from now. I'm suggesting that he move to the city I live in for 6 months to a year, to see how things feel once we're LIVING, and not just TRAVELING together. (Moving from "what beach should we hit this morning?" to "honey, could you take out the garbage, please?"

Oh, ABSOLUTELY!!!!  I have a son my late husband and I adopted, and substantial assets, so watertight prenup would be essential!.

Having been married for 30+ years and having enjoyed that situation enormously -- and having seen the benefits of that legal status when my husband sickened and died from cancer --  I am positively disposed towards the institution of marriage. It makes lots of things easier if/when things get tough for one reason or another ... joint property, right of survivorship power of attorney/health care proxy, etc. And, quite frankly, if he continues to bring as much joy and comfort into my life as he has to date, I'd really like to leave him some of my assets (while leaving others to my adult son) ... in a way that doesn't saddle him with taxes. I will definitely check divorce laws in my very progressive/blue state ... and I think prenups can overrule the boilerplate stuff. I'll definitely look into this seriously.

Yes ... a solid prenup is absolutely essential.
