Hard Truth: Gay men (for the most part) are mean to each other. In fact, so mean, that there are tons of social media posts, Reddit threads and discussion points on the topic.

true

the abused/marginalized frequently recreate the abusive dynamic as the aggressor when they feel someone is below them, or less than, for whatever reason.
and many are too damaged and lacking any self-awareness to know

You make an excellent point, and this further delves into the social aspect of human beings overall and how groups who are marginalized will marginalize the next group they believe is beneath them on the social “hierarchy”.
Although gay men have endured a lot of marginalization, this community created its  own microcosm of internal discrimination to further continue this pathetic cycle.

What he  @pubic_assistancesaid reflects the actual reality of what gay men say to themselves and to each other when they see images like this.

Well...I'm not "gay" (maybe half)..so I don't speak for that community.

As far as "being mean". I'm pretty sure that obese whale of a human isnt here on the site.  So there is no one to be mean to. I am sharing an honest opinion on a forum designed to share opinions.  We aren't at a lady's tea party where I am restricted to complimenting your dress and talk about the weather. So my opinion stands.

There is already gay porn that appeals to chubby chasers.  Sorry in advance if the term offends some of you.   Bears?

But the OP focus is on gay porn that the majority already watch.  Should gay porn incorporate large and generally out of shape guys?  A new kind of hybrid gay porn?  Some might say "woke" porn.

Perhaps it would sell. Perhaps not.

Producers need to make a profit.   If something will sell, go for it.  If not, then why create content just because they "should".  Because it's the right thing to do?  Because it's good for society? 🥳💯

The porn company might need nonprofit status.

Who's in?

I respect what you call yourself, but from your posts, you are at least the “B” or “Q” in LGBTQ…. So you’re a member… lol…

And your quips, commentary, sharp responses may not be done with a “limp wrist”, but they are in -par with most gay men I’ve encountered.

Futher, I never said anything bad about your comments. I clearly stated that your comments aren’t shocking or unexpected, and it’s the “normal” sentiment, in this community.

And yes, you are “mean”, and we’ve debated about this before 😂

And you can’t help yourself, and you enjoy it.

I enjoy being myself. Always have.

Maybe the "limpwristed" crowd don't enjoy my frankness, but enough of the gentlemen here do...So I refute this accusation that any opinion about physical appearance on a site that frequently discusses physical appearance is "mean" if it's not pretending to be kind.

No victim/ no crime.

That may be a fact.
But the truth is that out of the thousands of members on this site, there’s going to be someone who looks like that guy, is his weight, and has been insulted with such comments, and your posting is going to trigger their past trauma.

I know how you roll, but I have a preference for forum posts that are honest, but also are less vitriolic. We endure enough of that outside of this forum in real life, so let’s try to be civil here and create a safe space for opinions and even debate.

I’m not “limp wristed” either. I’m more like “iron fisted”.

I’m the guy who:

1.) Shuts smart mouth “limp wrists” up,

2.) Neutralizes cattiness

3.) Beats up bullies, and

4.) Stops traffic to let a family of ducks walk by.

Just because people agree with your antics doesn’t make it “just”.

It just means that they are just like you.

And any grown man who thinks it’s cute to crack fat jokes on someone, calling them such juvenile names as “whale of a man” leave a lot to be desired when it comes to class, maturity and overall decency.

You may not proclaim yourself to be limp wristed, but if your comments could be personified;  a pink, patent-leathered Chanel purse would fall right out of your mouth…

Now I am going to gift you the rare gift of having the last word, as I don’t want this forum to be closed by the moderator….

You’re Welcome.

Your "truth" is in your head. Not mine.

Like I said ..the guy isn't on the site.

So no one should feel insulted.

You're reaching.

If people want to watch him, more power to them.  There is an audience for him

FYI - the OnlyFans creator being discussed is SantanaXXL.  He is a very successful OF creator in terms of likes, subscribers & income generated. OF “likes” can only be made by subscribers which is an indicator of subscribers/income.  He’s so successful that he maintains a separate site that sells various merchandise - very few OF creators generate enough interest for merchandise sales.

While his audience may not be the people here - he has a huge audience that supports him.  He routinely films with very popular creators that do fit with more traditional ideas of male beauty & sexy - he doesn’t seem to have any problem getting willing collaborators.  Obviously they know the upside of appearing with him and/or there is an attraction. btw - he has 788,000 followers on Twitter

I tend to have far more respect for anyone that manages to succeed while overcoming societal expectations, discrimination, judgment through their own drive, ambition & despite all the odds.  I can only imagine how many times this guy was told he couldn’t do exactly what he did.

Holy crap, that was you in town yesterday?

God, I wanted to run you over.

LOL!!!!

I have pissed a few people off.
For those who live in DC, there are quite a few roadways that go through park area with lots of wildlife. That includes ducks, geese, possum, groundhogs, deer, foxes, and other animals. It’s common to stop to let them through.

But human pedestrians and cyclists in my town are actually the worst, and I’d prefer to run over them.

As others have said, porn for many if not most men is about a fantasy, an ideal, either in terms of the situation (romance or domination, for example) or in terms of the partner (

Interesting point.

I don't have much of any interest in porn anymore.

But I've been lucky over the years with some incredibly sexy partners...so I guess many of my fantasies are satisfied.

My only interest in pornographic video now is, as you mentioned: situational. Things at the extreme. Situations that you don't normally find yourself in. (And I've been in some pretty wild sexual encounters) so the material has to be pretty extreme to get my attention.

All that said...I do still demand that the performers be within an age range and fit. Nothing turns me off faster than old/fat people getting naked.

That’s the great thing about guys making their own porn. People of all shapes, sizes and age can make it and find an audience. Studios wouldn’t make it because they’d perceive it as being too niche, probably correctly because most porn features traditionally hot looking guys, but there is a market for non ‘stereotype’ look and it’s fantastic that guys can make it.

I make porn with a range of different guys, some of them have the usual type of body you see on porn, but others are more average looking. I can see that the films featuring ‘hot’ guys are usually more popular. You generally need at least 2 of 3 things: a hot body, a pretty face, a big cock (or bubble butt). One of the 3 is ok. None of them? That’s a struggle…then we’re talking about a niche market (such as the fat guy, or someone with a tiny cock, or some kind of disability). There will still be a market for those but it’s not as big as the mainstream market. If you want to make money at it you need to pitch to the mainstream or be right at the top of the alternative market.

it’s a very narrow point-of- view to think that the people you’re attracted to, are the only people that have value, or that others don’t find those same people very attractive/sexy/desirable.

sometimes I have no idea what’s going to turn me on until it happens. and frequently, it’s completely unexpected.

keeping an open mind & trying to stay out of judgment yields more opportunities for better outcomes - whatever the context

There are plenty of people who are universally accepted as being attractive.

The majority of humans agree that certain characteristics are attractive.

Neither of these statements is remotely true. The "universal standards" are Western attributes sold to most of us and, increasingly, the rest of the world through the power of advertising. As a minor example, most Americans consider circumcised penises to be more appealing than uncircumcised. That has been "naturalized" to the point where people with no religious reason to have their male children circumcised do so. Multiple studies have proven there is no hygienic benefit.

Outside of the US and Jewish communities, circumcision is rare so for 80% of the world, most American penises are weird.

By Western standards, most people of color were not historically considered attractive. This led to Asian people having their eyes surgically altered, African Americans lightening their skin, and straightening their hair. The current UNIVERSAL standard is the Godforsaken Kardashians, who have been relentlessly cosmetically and surgically altered so they look like the product of AI.

Lastly, suppose I assume that everyone finds what I do attractive. In that case, I'd be excluding everyone with brown eyes, everyone under 6'0", everyone with a bushy beard, every muscle boy with a shaved body, etc., etc., etc., yet many, many, many people find those attributes incredibly attractive.

So, yes, it is narcissistic to assume that everyone finds that incredibly narrow and - for God's sake - so damn basic - things you find attractive.

Ummmm……no.

There are plenty of studies showing the health benefits of circumcision.  I’m not for it or against it, but I am in favor of facts. Do I it think it’s genital mutilation? Yes. Do I believe there are health benefits? Yes. Both of those statements can be true, no matter how much people on both sides of the argument wish they weren’t.

On the "universal beauty" front, there are in fact attributes that humans find universally attractive in other humans. Again, I’m not advocating one way or the other. It’s not so much about "white western standards", hair color, or ethnicity, as it is about symmetry and perceived power. I love the rainbow and all its colors/flavors, but denying facts doesn’t make them untrue.
