I'd go higher end than La Quinta, I mean you're going to spend $5k on this event so splurge a little on the room, I'd get a suite somewhere with 1 or 2 king size beds.   Doesn't have to be 5 star.  I think a big impersonal hotel would be best, pref one without elevator keycard access.   You can always call and ask for extra towels, also if there are housekeeping carts in the halls you can grab more.   A few packages of baby wipes are always good to have at a party like this 😉.

You might want to consider going to RB&B, or some similar agency, and renting a nice home for the night.  This would give you privacy, the run of the place and a much larger playpen.

Yeah I kinda go back and forth. I know from hiring and visiting guys at their hotels that quite a few have keycard access, which I really would rather not have. The La Quinta I'm thinking of actually hosts Bate Buddies parties where there are often dozens of guys, which is part of the reason why I think a two-queen bed at one of those could be perfect. Downtown can also be kinda crappy to park/drive to where this La Quinta is right off the highway and has its own parking lot. But I could look into some other options as well.

These days, a hotel (or even motel) will be more cognisant of multiple guys going in and out of one particular room.

You don't want to attract too much attention, especially of the wrong kind.

True. I was at the Wynn in Vegas last week and a group of 7-8 20-something hyper-masculine males were trying to get past the elevator security guard. "I don’t care if you have a room key, there’s now way I’m letting you guys in. I’m happy to call the manager for you, but the answers going to be the same." They caused a big "bro scene", and got nowhere. 
 

That’s the reason I stay at the Wynn…..Security.

Yes, I think $5000 should cover it if you’re having 4 guys join you. It depends on the action: is it for a few hours or overnight? Do you want to be the centre of the action? Or do you want each guy to be working non-stop with each other and you watching, directing and interacting?
 

I always preferred a big anonymous hotel (such as Hilton, Loew’s ie not 5* but decent) and I’d book a large suite. It’s good to have the space, and a large bathroom. I used to see if I really hit it off with one of the guys, and then I’d invite him to stay overnight (to give me a morning blowjob before breakfast)

In a hotel pool, not cool unless a gay accomodation and then you will attract all sorts of party crashers.

I rent a house in the Hollywood hills a couple times a year for this. It’s an Airbnb. The owner lives right next-door. I told her we are nudists that get together a couple times a year and she loves having us LOL she makes us take bags of lemons from her lemon tree. As you say, locale is super important. At my house, where I am hosting this weekend, I just had a row of trees planted to bolster the fence for privacy. If anyone sees us, it’s because they want to.

Yeah, I've never organized an orgy. I've been in attendance to a few, but I more played a voyeur/watching role. In my small experience of putting together 3-ways, most times it's a huge headache. Some have gone OK, not perfect, but most failed for various reasons.

Always the best scenario if there's no BNB involved. Especially hotels with no keycard access or lobby sign-in.
