Yes!  I wondered how much $$ they forked out!!  For that cameo and that song.

Brilliant.

Finally got around to watching Season 3 of The Bear.

Great cliffhangers.   Can't wait for Season 4.

Guest appearances by Jamie Lee Curtis and Olivia Coleman were superb.

Everything about the show works for me.  People use the word brilliant a lot.  The Bear really is.

I just watched season 1 and 2 of Heartstopper and loved it.  Can’t wait for season 3.  Made me happy and sad at the same time…

I just finished Heartstopper last night and really enjoyed it! Agree with @pubic_assistance here that the bisexual story was good and probably eye opening to some.

It's time to say 'bye.' Netflix's 'Heartstopper' won't be getting a Season 4 but will at least be...

A wrap up by film makes sense.

Sometimes the TV-series format can drag out a story and suck the joy out of things.

For most people, their first love/ first crush is a transitional part of their life, not their only story. Personally, I've had multiple crushes and romances before I married....so a little heartbreak 💔 at the end would feel more genuine. Hollywood normally provides a happy ending more often than a gay4pay masseur.

Having read Atwood’s follow-up 2019 novel The Testaments when released, along with media reporting on it’s recent series production having commenced and evidently leaning truly towards The Testaments plot (spoiler alert: if you wish to remain in the dark do not search the book or follow-up series) certain conclusions can be somewhat forecasted in relation to The Handmaid’s Tale final three episodes.

I am quite enjoying Mobland on Paramount. Great cast - dry British humor - gangster life. Guy Richie at his best. 😁

I was surprised at how good MobLand actually is.  Great cast, amazing acting.  Helen Mirren, Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan, etc., all at the top of their game.

Recommend!

Here's what I finished the past few weeks:

HACKS - This show gets better and better each season. Many didn't like how this season ended, I thought it was fine. Paul W Downs has gotten so much better as an actor in every season.

THE HANDMAID'S TALE - I slogged through the last couple of seasons. It was a chore to get through. It should have ended in season 2.  I won't be watching the spin-off 'The Testaments' as I grew so bored with this.

THE GODFATHER OF HARLEM - All I can say is 'Best Show On Television'.

THE LINCOLN LAWYER - Finished season 3, looking forward to season 4. It's fast-paced and enjoyable. For the life of me, I can't see the sex appeal of lead actor Manuel Garcia-Rulfo among gay men and women. Why everyone finds him so sexy is beyond me - to me, he looks like Michael Fishman who played 'DJ Conner' on 'Roseanne', and I can't move past that.

POKER FACE - Season 2 is uneven at best. When it's good, it's good. When it's bad, it's bad. Luckily, it's had more good than bad episodes.

Looking forward to starting the new season of THE GILDED AGE.

Interested in trying MOBLAND.

Tried watching THE WATERFRONT and checked out after 15 minutes - bored.

I kept watching after the first episode and it really hooked me in.   I'll finish it by tomorrow.    It's has that Ozark feel but not the grit of Ozark and certainly not the acting but I'm still enjoying the twists and turns.

Right now, GOLIATH.
Billy Bob is kind of a weird dude, but he always delivers a great performance. This character has complex layers of rough and smooth, and he’s entirely credible, and has got some interesting co-stars along the way. Nina Arianda never disappoints.

I am binge watching the original Will & Grace just to remember why I couldn't stand Grace.  A 20 minute episode can be watched in 10 when you fast-forward through the awful W&G scenes.

I think back of the several episodes where Debra Messing was on maternity leave so Grace wasn't in any of those episodes.  I didn't even miss her.   The other three carried the show just fine without her.

I never believed that Will was gay, nor that if he was, his best friend would be Grace. Shoulda been Mindy Cohn

I used to call the show Jack & Karen, because they were my only reason for watching the show.

Just watched an episode with Gene Wilder. I got to admit it was brilliant.  I miss Gene.

I've been doing a fairly thorough rewatch of seasons 2-6 of The Avengers before it goes off peacock at the end of the month. Only 3 1/3 episodes from season one exist and they are on YouTube.

Finishing up Dept. Q on Netflix today. Enjoyable.

Sat down to watch the first episode, ended up watching four. Quite engrossing though at times I almost clicked on the subtitles!

I had high hopes for Poker Face. I've enjoyed Natasha Lyonne's work, and I found Season 1 clever and interesting. For me, Season 2 is a disaster. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to give Cynthia Erivo 8 parts to play? How did the crew deal with all those hair, make up, and nail changes? This season is way too contrived and silly for me.

Binging new S4 of “The Bear” on Hulu

I'm 25% through S3.  I really want to love The Bear, but the yelling and screaming and the severe mental health issues many of the characters suffer from make it hard.
