How soon do you reveal that you're a "provider"
+ Jamie21 replied to JB_Studio38's topic in Questions About Hiring
I would add that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with being a prostitute. As long as it’s done without coercion, with compassion and lawfully then I don’t think the prejudice that is loaded with the word is fair on the job. I prefer to use the term sex worker which is broader and seems to have less ‘baggage’. I describe myself as sex worker. It really involves skills in working with people and understanding their sexual and intimacy needs. There’s nothing wrong with that. I’d say society would be a lot better if everyone had a better understanding of their needs and desires around sex. -

I met a client on a naked beach in Mykonos. He recognised me as I walked along the the edge of the water (not sure if it was my cock or my face he recognised first). He was with his husband (I was with a friend, a former client…). It was an awkward discussion at first because I didn’t like to say anything about how we knew each other as we talked. My client later messaged me to say his husband knew he’d hired me. I guess he’d sensed my reluctance to discuss much. -

Talk about it with him and price it at your normal rate less a bit given the nature of the barter. I’ve done professional exchange for services in the past; I did a massage for a photographer who took some professional shots for me. It worked well. The worst that could happen is he says no. -
It sounds like you did the right thing by leaving. He’s not professional or respectful if he sees clients in that state. I guess when you chatted to him he wasn’t high but when you turned up he was. That’s no state to provide a good service. You probably shouldn’t have paid him anything but I understand in the situation you had to get out. Put it down to experience and maybe do a bit more due diligence on your chosen provider (although I’m not sure what else you could have done in that situation). I’m tempted to say you should provide a review on here or Rentmen but perhaps contact him with your complaints and see what he says before posting a review. Give him the opportunity to explain how he was in that state and the opportunity to apologise.

Reminds me of a time I was in the wrong hotel 😂….client insisted he was in the lobby looking for me, and I insisted I was in the lobby looking for him. Both texting each other with ever more elaborate instructions about where we were. Yet neither of us could see each other. I was thinking he’s a time waster and I was being strung along. Then I realised I hadn’t read his message properly and was in a similarly named hotel just across the road (those who know London may have had similar problem- Park Plaza London Bridge is next to Park Plaza County Hall). I was in London Bridge, he was in County Hall. Whoops, my mistake. I apologised and walked over to his hotel…he saw the funny side fortunately (despite having approached a few guys asking if they were me 😬). I stayed extra time to compensate.

They should be delighted they’re getting a professional for free! I was with a former bf one time, we had sex on Sunday morning and I jokingly said afterwards as we lay in bed that the session would have cost a client £x. He knew what my work was and we had an open relationship. In fact he was much more active with other guys than I was (most of my sex was work sex). However he got quite upset at my joke and for even considering that there could be any sort of transactional nature to our session. Maybe it brought the work too close to the bedroom for him, I don’t know. I was clear with him about my work from the start and he said it was fine but I think for some people it’s very difficult indeed for them to understand how someone can have sex for money. It’s good to find out very early in a relationship if your partner is one of those people. -
I’m assuming you mean a climax to the massage, or happy ending as it’s sometimes known. If they want a happy ending they get one. I don’t like the phrase happy ending though, it’s misleading. I prefer to just call it a release or orgasm. Some clients want it at the start so that they can relax, enjoy the massage and build up again to another release at the end. The only time it might not happen is if they have a medical condition that precludes it.

Well someone has to do it 🙂

Welcome. I learned by trial and error (and still am learning). Biggest learning for me is know what your strength is, and understand your market. Don’t try to be something you’re not; you can’t be all things to all clients. Just be yourself and you’ll find your way.

Fascinating to read from the perspective of someone in the UK. I’ve learned so much if I ever want to do a tour of the US! But yeah I’ve been to Orlando, like downtown Orlando (not the tourist parts although they’re even worse) and it’s dull dull dull. I wasn’t working there though…I was there for work (a ‘normal’ job ha ha) but I did look for a gay scene and found nothing. Maybe I wasn’t looking hard enough, maybe I didn’t care. The city sort of drained me. I’m used to culture, history (I’m talking > 200 years of it) and a sense of place. Orlando had oranges and a mouse. St Petersburg was good though. I liked that.

Everyone is different, some of my clients hardly open their eyes the whole massage (probably so they can imagine I’m someone much sexier lol) and maybe the lack of sight heightens the other senses. Some like me to use a blindfold on them which is great for undressing and exploring their body at the start. However when it comes to kissing I do love to look into his eyes. Shakespeare wrote that ‘the eyes are the window to the soul’. Having the window open makes for a more intimate moment.

I’m in London. Big kiss to you!

Difficult to do dainty kisses. You’re not kissing your grandmother!…. I love kissing and am slightly disappointed if my client doesn’t want to be kissed (although I don’t show it…I hope!). Kiss with abandon, kiss with eyes open, hold his head, explore his neck, ears, chest, all over his body, that’s how I like to kiss.

If your scenario doesn’t involve the escort getting fucked (or fucking you) then perhaps they feel that you aren’t into them. It reveals their motive for doing the work. If however one’s motive when seeing clients is the client’s satisfaction then it shouldn’t matter whether or not your shorts come off as you say. My client yesterday wasn’t interested in doing anything to me. He wanted to be totally passive. I did remove my shorts but only so I could slap my cock in his face!
-
Interesting you raise this. Only today I had a client who liked a specific role play scenario. Think massage and a “straight” guy coming for a sports massage. He succumbs to the masseur who strips him of his pants (shorts) on the table and has his way with the guy. He wanted me to take charge and dominate him. Seemed to go ok lol. I don’t do many role play scenarios because I tend not to get asked but it’s definitely something I’m open to. I think most providers would be open to considering such things. I’m some way all clients are looking for a fantasy to be realised.
-
Doesn’t bother me. I’ve walked into many top London hotels to meet clients. Sometimes I have my massage table with me too. I’ve never been stopped or asked what I’m there for. I usually meet the client in the lobby if there’s a key card required for the lift, or use the stairs. All you need do is walk in with confidence as if you owned the place. Hotel doormen know what goes on too so it’s no issue. I dress smartly and look presentable which is also important because if you turn up in short shorts and a tight t shirt with ‘I’m a rent boy’ written all over it (or you’re dressed to that effect) then it’s not fitting for the location and could be embarrassing for your client!

Oh my God you’ve started off a big question there! It’s extremely emotive here in the UK. They’ve said they’ll try to join the EU, but keep the £ but I think that will be difficult because if they keep the £ they’re not really independent given interest rates would be set by the Bank of England. If they join the EU they may have to also take the Euro. I personally don’t believe they will vote for independence if they get the opportunity to vote….but who knows? Anyway, my newly independent Scottish clients will still be welcome and they can pay in whatever hard currency they like. As long as they keep Her Majesty as head of state of course. If they do away with her then I’m not happy with them. God Save The Queen 🙂

I find the US attitude to sex work is very prudish and I’m some ways puritanical. It’s legal here in UK and most of Europe. I hope one day it shall be considered to be normal, and open. Some regulation also to stop people trafficking and ensure standards are high, whether that’s industry rates government led. In meantime we should continue to try to change attitudes, challenge prejudices and educate the ignorant. Sex work is good work, it satisfies a demand and is important to society. I find it rewarding and enjoyable to do sex work.
