That’s brilliant advice. When I started the guy who I knew and trusted who had started in a similar way to me advised me on pricing. Without that advice I’d have priced it much too low. Once you’ve started low it’s very difficult indeed to change. His advice was err on the high side and only reduce if you find that you’re not getting sufficient business.

Will my family and friends find out if I open an Onlyfans?

Because you’re new to the industry and you’re asking lots of questions. People will make you promises and not deliver. -
Table is much better for a good massage. If I see clients on out calls I take my table. Most hotels have no issues about me walking in with the table but sometimes the client’s room is too small to fit the table in and move around it. I offer the client the choice if they want a massage on the bed or table. Bed is a different kind of experience, and I adapt the massage to suit the bed.

Oh yes, and not just for money saving. How many times have I opened my washbag, reached in for the massage oil, condoms etc and found that my lube bottle has leaked everywhere. I’ve yet to find a bottle of lube in it’s original packaging that meets the dual purpose of being secure while being transported, and is possible to open easily with one hand whilst your face is buried between your client’s ass cheeks. So now I decant a small amount of lube into a suitable container. It’s the small things that make life easier.

It’s quite likely they will find out. I think @Coolwave35said that the whole idea of doing porn for subscribers is to promote it. He’s right, it’s pointless to create content and then hide it away so you’d need to promote it on Twitter, put clips of the movies on free porn sites like xvideos.com to drive traffic to your Onlyfans. It is possible to film Onlyfans content where you don’t show your face, there’s plenty of guys doing that but if you have a distinctive body or any tattoos or something then people who know you well might recognise you. You seem very keen to get into sex work of some kind, because you ask a lot of questions about it. When I started it was through doing soft porn shoots and I got to know people in the field who I trusted. I then progressed to doing more explicit porn and escorting / massage but always following advice from sensible people that I could see were successful. There’s a lot of people in the industry who would take advantage of your naivety if you aren’t careful. Find someone who you can trust who will guide you. -
So can you be straight and be “gay acting”? That’s what I’m challenging with the questioning of the term “straight acting”.

I do both. I see clients (mainly for sensual massage) and I do justforfans movies. I’d say I prefer seeing clients (because I like the interaction and I value seeing my regular clients) but it’s actually easier to do videos for justforfans. The most challenging thing with that is lining up guys to collaborate with. Once you have a good bank of content then you start to earn passive income from the catalogue of movies on your site. Of course you still need to film new content all the time but if you do a few filming sessions in a day that’s about a months content, then you can basically take the month off and earn from the regular subscribers to your fans site. However you do need to first build up a good quantity of films and of course you need decent films to win new subscribers. The top models on Onlyfans and justforFans do very well out of it. I can understand why they’d prefer it to seeing clients.

Are you asking clients? Because it’s in ‘ask a provider’ 🙂. First time I did an escort session was, looking back on it, hilarious and I’m grateful for the client who was really understanding. I’d agreed to meet him outside house no. 8 in his street. But I misunderstood the instructions and knocked on the door at no. 8 which was actually the house across the street. Obviously he wanted to check me out and didn’t want to give his real door number to me until he saw me. Fortunately no one was home at no.8 Then when I was getting showered before we started I didn’t shut the shower door properly and his bathroom floor got filled with water. He was ok about that saying he should have told me about the door thing. In my excitement at my first client I left home without my wash bag which had my massage oil, lube, condoms etc in. So I had to ask my client if he had any oil and condoms. He opened a bedside drawer and provided all the necessities… Afterwards I forgot to ask him for payment. As I was leaving he said “don’t you want paying Dick?” (Dick was the ridiculous ‘nom de plume’ I’d decided on for my escort career but I soon dropped it because guys would call and say “hi is this Dick” and I’d instinctively say “no it’s Jamie” and they’d say “oh sorry wrong number”). I think he was amused by my puppy like enthusiasm and naivety. He gave me a nice tip but didn’t hire me again. Then, when I got home I realised I’d left a thong I’d worn at his place. I really hope his wife didn’t find it… I’d say if you hire a newbie provider then be like my client and be understanding. He enjoyed my enthusiasm and I’m sure he had a laugh to himself afterwards. If he’d been an arsehole about my faux pax I’d probably not have continued with doing the work.

No idea. But if they’re just doing it for fun then I guess it doesn’t matter, it’s not their job or their main income.

I get clients sending me pics, of their own volition. I never ask for pics. Sometimes it’s because they want to be sure I’m ok to see them. Sometimes it’s from guys who think that by sending me a hot pic I’ll offer them it for free. In my experience the clients who send a pic are actually less likely to book. So providers can indeed be choosy. They simply require a pic. No pic means no booking. As I said, these guys are doing the work as an extension of their sex life. The money is an extra bonus for them, so they can feel ok to turn down business.

No, I see most of my massage clients at my massage studio. 90% are in calls. 5% are hotel visits, 5% to the clients home.

I do think that some of the Dictionaries need to define definitively some of these terms because there’s always lots of different interpretations of what they mean. Come on Oxford English Dictionary…please include all these sexual terms in your next edition! It will save all these discussions!

I think it’s that there’s a perception that some providers wouldn’t want clients who are overweight. I would say that that perception is over estimated. Of course some providers will be very ‘choosy’ and my view is that those guys are doing the work basically as an extension of their sex life. I’d say that most professional providers will not be so choosy about their clients. The professionals are able to make any client feel good and desirable because they are doing the job not for their own sexual gratification but for the satisfaction of performing their skill and making clients happy. Nothing makes me happier than a client leaving feeling great about themselves. I don’t care what they look like, I do care what their mindset is. The only physical things I need to l know about are injuries or health conditions. Having said that I did see one client who was very overweight indeed. It was for a massage although he was too big for the table so we had to use a futon. It really wasn’t very comfortable for him. I think if it’s for a massage there is a limit on size given the table restrictions. I felt sorry for him because his size prevented him from doing some of the things he wanted to do with me.

I agree with this, we exist somewhere on a spectrum. I think you’re born that way and depending on your openness to new experiences, the extent to which you are compliant to society norms and the degree of opportunity you experience then it’s your choice about whether or not you act on your position on the spectrum. Someone in the middle who is open to exploring, is independent minded and has the opportunity will have relationships with both sexes. Someone else in the middle but who is very compliant, conforms to norms and has very little opportunity to explore will probably have relationships only with the opposite sex. So to that extent I believe you do make a choice, but it’s a choice made within the boundaries of how you’re born. Born 100% on the gay or 100% on the straight end it will feel like you have no choice.

Providers that aren't into kissing nor giving oral
+ Jamie21 replied to MeatHead's topic in Questions About Hiring
Yes I found it surprising, especially given he’s an escort. It’s like being a carpenter but having an issue with sawdust. The only issue I have with cum is if it’s in my hair, so difficult to get out. -
Visit other erotic masseurs as a client and observe their techniques. Some standard massage techniques you’d learn on a normal massage course but sensual techniques you kind of pick up from others or learn intuitively by trial and error. It’s how I learned: I had some formal training and then learned as I went along. Alongside my massage work I now do sensual massage training for clients who want to learn how to be a masseur (not just the massage techniques but also how to set yourself up). If you find a masseur where you are who offers similar it could be worth trying them.

Providers that aren't into kissing nor giving oral
+ Jamie21 replied to MeatHead's topic in Questions About Hiring
I think there’s someone for everyone, so if you find your niche, and your market finds you, and is large enough you’ll get business. I met with another provider (an escort) last year to film some content for our respective fans sites. All was good, he’s a lovely guy and we had discussed the content beforehand (it was agreed neither of us would bottom so the content was everything else but penetration). However we hadn’t discussed about the cum shots and when I was ready to shoot I warned him and then shot all over his chest. Unfortunately this freaked him out so much that we had to stop and clean up before he’d continue filming (for his cum shot….which ended up in my mouth). Afterwards he told me he had a problem with having cum on his body. I was really surprised by this. I know some guys won’t swallow it but I’ve not come across cum phobia before. I guess I should have asked him how he manages to escort if that is the case… but I didn’t like to make him feel awkward. Somehow he must manage to see clients and avoid any of their cum…I don’t think he kisses either. -
I think that’s one of the best parts. I prefer not to know what they look like. I have an image in my mind, from the exchange of messages / emails or a call when they book but I’m always surprised when I open the door or I arrive at the client’s hotel and find out what they really look like. It’s very exciting.

Ah ok although those straight men who accept the park offers aren’t straight! Have you been to some London parks on an evening?😂😂😂.

That’s not an interpretation I draw from it. In the 30’s having gay sex was unlawful. Gay men would not be open about their sexuality. Those ‘straight’ men who had sex with Gifford would not have described themselves as gay at that time. However if you transport them to current times they’d probably describe themselves as gay or bi, and they’d be open about it because there’s fewer societal barriers to doing so. I think it’s more to do with social norms where gay behaviour in the past was wrongly associated by society in general with certain effeminate characteristics. That trope is now fading thankfully and there’s no stereotype of how a gay man should behave. You do still see some people who retain that mindset when they say they’re ‘straight acting’…to which I’d ask ‘what is straight acting???’. I don’t think it’s anything to do with self loathing or true masculinity (whatever that is?). It’s about showing men who deny their sexual attraction to other men the pleasure of having gay sex. Many people have been so conditioned by religion and societal norms over the years to believe that sexual activity with a member of the same sex is bad. Well here’s news for them…it’s absolutely fantastic. Don’t let the self appointed religious leaders decide what you can and can’t do. Don’t let those who are bigoted tell you that you’re bad if you want to enjoy sex with whoever you like. As long as you’re being respectful and kind it’s up to you what sex you have, no one else.

Interesting discussion. I think if someone is doing sex work then they’re able to perform regardless of the gender or sexuality of their client. So a ‘straight’ male sex worker (who has self identified as straight) and who advertises as seeing male or female clients would be able to perform sexual acts with any of their clients. That ability and willingness to perform for anyone (regardless of body type too) is why the sex worker is able to do their job. A straight non sex worker couldn’t do it, but a straight sex worker can. It’s not to do with their sexuality, it’s their skill to find sexual attraction in the situation.

You could try these two… I’m sure they’d do a massage for you.
