Regardless of how I prefer to be contacted clients use all sorts of different ways. It can be challenging remembering how they contacted me. Maybe a debate on rates in general would be more insightful than you sharing what your idea of value is? Is the market perfect (in that buyers and sellers are able to accurately value their services?). Has one party got more power? That kind of discourse is interesting. ‘I can’t afford x’ is less so.

Even if you consider it a ‘side hustle’ you’ll need to be utterly professional in your approach: get decent pics done (not phone selfies), advertise your service (and like @ApexNomadsaid, know what your USP is), be available when clients want you which might be difficult if you’re doing full time work. You’ll need to be flexible with your time otherwise you’ll be turning a lot of clients down. Price your services correctly to fit your chosen market. It can be awful, but don’t be too harsh on these guys. It’s not easy to be 100% clean every time.
