    Random thoughts on the topic:
    - What's the acting equivalent of tone-deaf? Because that's me. Even back in highschool, I was too self-conscious and OTT to be anything more than an extra. And I was only made into one because nobody else was available. Even I knew I was cast out of necessity (and pity).
    - Limited experience on the brutality of the industry: I styled four actors (3 men, 1 woman) for magazine photoshoots back when I was still a full-time stylist 9 years ago. Not one of them has been in a role of any significance after all these years. Last I checked, two have moved on, one is still hanging on, and one pivoted to production although again, I don't even know whether he can call himself a fledgling producer in any capacity.
    - One of the four actors I mentioned above created a GoFundMe for a short that he wants to create. I donated. The short film never materialized. And when I inquired (genuinely wanted to see it and not because I wanted to get my money's worth), he blocked me.
    - My current celeb object of lust is 25-year-old Harrison Osterfield, Tom Holland's (MCU Spiderman) best friend and played Leopold in the never-got-past-its-freshman-season Netflix show "The Irregulars."

I started this thread on 6/15/20, just after I had to cancel plans for a visit at the end of that month.  Back then I would never have predicted it would be 14 months before I could return.
I have my plane reservations, my apartment, and my vaccination certificate all ready.  Still have to nail down the requirements for a covid-test and the "just-in-case" quarantine plan.  You can bet I've been walking around with a big smile on my face for the past 24 hours 😁.

    Breaking:
The province is seriously considering the vaccine certification route for bars, clubs, restaurants etc, but likely not before September 1st. It may depend on case incidence rising again as well as evidence that cases are predominantly among the unvaccinated. I think that there would be provisions worked out for natural immunity based on infection and recovery, both that category and other reasons for vaccination exemption documented by one’s physician.

You’re a better man than me. Once you don’t respond once, especially twice, much less “numerous” times, you’re off my list. I don’t have time for that bullshit.

I always stay at the Hyatt in midtown. Excellent location, competitive price, and a breakfast buffet always look forward to. (I think it's grab and go currently due to the pandemic.) Had a hookup here one time and I thought there was sufficient padding between the walls.

    What an interesting situation.
Personally, I would be interested in it, but only if she has completely transitioned, i.e. she has a vagina.

Compilation-style "articles" are the worst. They're insultingly lazy (I'll take listicles with original writing over a piece with 95 percent quotes any day) and profit off people's writing.
Then again, it's Buzzfeed so I'm not surprised. This wasn't the first time this happened and it most certainly won't be the last.

I can most likely figure out a way to take away the ability to use big/small fonts, but ultimately if someone is abusing the capability… the moderating team can and will take action. Initially it will be a gentle nudge in the right direction, growing to formal warnings which if/when enough warning points accrue results in posts being automatically queued for moderator approval and finally in temporary suspension.

I've gone on a Disney World trip (all four parks) solo once. While I would admit that visiting DW is more fun with friends, it's equally enjoyable by yourself. It is for the most part a closed eco-system that you wouldn't have any significant issues. If they've brought back single-rider lines, use it to your heart's content.

I would echo what @poolboy48220 said. My favorite part of the trip was the world showcase at Epcot.

Corbin Fisher awoke my love of the male feet. I remember back in the days I would look forward to reading the synopsis of a video to see if there's a foot worship scene. If there is, I'd watch it, even if I did not necessarily like the performer/s. More than a few times this was what made me explode instead of the climax.

For the past four years or so, CF seemed to have stopped (or rather, significantly slowed down on) their focus of this particular partialism/fetish. My interest also waned when it was the same guys over and over again, so I stopped subscribing.

(If you're thinking, "why not just subscribe to myfriendsfeet.com or any other feet-focused porn site?" it's that I don't want just feet. I want it to be part of the sex, whether during foreplay or during anal.)

Once I get my second shot and two weeks have elapsed, I'll fulfill what I said in the thread asking what members would do once we can wiggle a little bit: I'll have sex. Escort or friend doesn't matter, but they have to be vaccinated.

I'm a lot more comfortable meeting someone who has had their vaccinations since Covid-19 transmission is a lot easier compared to STDs or HIV. With the latter, I can wear a condom. (If the guy shows his stash of PReP, even better.) With the former, the moment I lock lips, I could already be infected.

Solo travel is for me, the best way to travel. You can be as outgoing or as introverted as you want—and you can change almost everything about your trip on a whim. Two years ago I was in Europe for a month. I only planned on visiting one friend in Switzerland. The rest of my stay in the continent was going to be what I felt like doing; I crossed off eight new countries (the Baltic states and a few micronations) on top of the usual suspects like France, Germany, and Spain.

Although I'm not the extroverted type, I was happy to strike up a conversation with a random patron at a bar, and many of these friends I still keep in touch with. Many of them have even invited me to their cities whenever travel is possible again and I find myself in Europe.

I check in with my family here in the U.S. every night that I'm traveling and message friends on Facebook as well, because I don't make a habit out of posting photos as things happen. Call me old-fashioned, but I take a few photos, then I put my camera down and enjoy the moment. Only when I come back home do I photo-dump.

Here are my tips, many of them assumes that there's some sense of normalcy back in the world:

Pack light. In general, don't bring a lot of stuff, but it's a lot more important to do so if you're solo. The fewer things you have to mind, the better. Besides, nobody cares if you repeat an outfit several times.
Hostels often have free walking tours (tips appreciated). If you need a way to get your bearings in a new city, these tours are it. Befriend a fellow solo traveler at the tour and ask if they want to hang out.
Going to theme parks by yourself is awesome because many in-demand attractions have solo rider lines. I rode Expedition Everest over at Animal Kingdom so many times until I almost threw up.
Similarly, museums are excellent places to visit. You can spend an entire day just appreciating the works of art they have on display.
Buy a wide-angle lens for your camera so that your selfies don't end up just close-ups of your face. If your phone is your primary camera, get a GorillaPod (or a generic tripod) and a remote shutter instead.
Go with your gut instinct before asking a stranger to take your picture. Most of the time, if you are in the same enclosed space or if they're traveling as a family, you're in the clear to ask. You can also hire a freelance photographer (Airbnb Experiences is a great place to find them) for an hour or two. For my preference—which is to just have photos of me at different spots, none of that staged, emote-y pap—I'm fine with going for the cheapest.
Bars with live entertainment (piano, jazz, comedy, drag) are great if you want to have a drink but not feel pressured to mingle, because there's somebody commanding the attention of the entire audience.

I have just seen this topic. I still don't want to believe it...

It was 2009, San Francisco, and my first ever review was published on Daddysreviews by a long-standing member here. I had no idea what this site was so I went to check it out and shortly after my cell phone rang. A gentleman introduced himself as "Daddy" and told me that my review got published on his website. He asked me a few non-intrusive questions that were geared towards finding out whether the money I make through this means is being invested for my future. Again, and I must emphasize this, he did that in the most non-intrusive way as one possibly could have. I felt that he just genuinely wanted to ensure that I am on the right path to creating financial independence for myself in the long run. We covered a few other aspects of the industry and he offered me a helping hand in case I ever needed a piece of advice.

Soon after my first published review came the second, third --- 20th, and 30th, and my business has exploded and I was full of quality inquiries. Surely, providing a great service doesn't hurt but without the ability for people to research their next "date" on a platform like his, how would anyone know about my abilities?

But business (while obviously in our lives is key) was truly NOT what Daddy was all about. He was in it to help people. Genuinely.

I had the pleasure to meet him on numerous occasions at a variety of restaurants and many times at his apartment in Las Vegas. We even met during the pandemic (the chair was waiting for me at the entrance to sit on) while he distanced himself from me by being in front of his computer on the other side of the apartment and we were both wearing masks. The "HOW" never really mattered, but every meeting with him was always highly insightful and entertaining.... and very genuine. Many of you probably didn't get the chance to truly know who was behind this nickname/website and I am very grateful that I had the pleasure of conducting more than just superficial chit-chats with him.

For those of you who don't know, he was a computer whiz and had incredible talents at forensics and used to be retained as a forensic expert in multi-billion dollar lawsuit cases back in the day. This speaks volumes of the in-depth knowledge he had about certain fields in computers.

Talking about talent, he used to be an escort himself (waaaaaaaaaaay) back in the day. He wasn't always overweight and was rather hot. He told me so many funny stories about providing services in LA/Beverly Hills to some of the Hollywood elites. They were extremely entertaining stories.

He never cared about the money. He went as far as to flat-out decline highly lucrative promotional/marketing/advertising offers if he disagreed with how the company conducted its business in the gay world, whether we are talking about advertising practices, treatment of others, or the mission the company stood for. He was a principles guy, yet - needless to say - non-judgmental.

Every time we talked - without an exception - he had his "routine" questions:
    - Are you happy?
    - Do you put a certain percentage of your money aside and invest it?
    - Do you take time out to have fun and enjoy life too?

This should tell you about the type of person Bill was.

(With names redacted), he showed me all kinds of escort inquiries where the guys offered him free sessions in exchange for promotion/bad review removal/self-review postings. He NEVER abused his position and always maintained his integrity.

He was a big fan of Latin guys with muscles and cute butts. Who can blame him, right?! Yet... never ran out of compliments for me when we met.

We talked about a few side projects of his too. Some of you may not know, but a few years back he was running a website that was teaching the transgender community about proper accessorizing / makeup / wigs and how to start out. He was also running it on his own dime and received no compensation for it.

On my last in-person visit during COVID, we actually started discussing either a joint business venture or a certain promotional opportunity about a website that would have served as an extension of DaddysReviews. We have never finalized the details and sadly, that will not happen anymore. It would have been great to work with him I am sure.

I just want you gentlemen to understand how this person sacrificed most of his life to help our community. He never asked for anything in return and I know exactly how much of his life he sacrificed for others. He changed my life, and probably many of your lives I am certain or the very bottom line, his work made your life a little easier in this crazy world.

I hope that he is in a good place now, his contributions, his helping hand, his guidance, and the amount of care and love he put out for all of us will be remembered (at least by me) for a LIFETIME.

When @Cooper reached out to me, I was shocked to hear that I was probably the only person who knew his address. He was so loving, welcoming and open that I thought he kept company often times at his home. I also would like to take this opportunity to thank Cooper for taking immediate actions and for keeping everyone posted. I am so truly sorry it ended this way. :-(
