Providers can't be choosy. Clients will never send their pictures.

Not true, at least in my case.  When booking a new masseur I usually include my body stats and a face pic.  I do this because if roles were reversed I'd want some idea of who was showing up at my door.  I also feel that if there's anything about me physically that would make the provider want to decline the appointment, I'd rather let that happen and spend the money for somebody else.

  2. I believe he's based in Toronto. I don't think he's performed in new vid content for a few years. You could probably DM him via twitter

Do you believe any of the escorts you hire are "attracted to you" ?

No, but I think there's an important difference.  Gay/bi guys are offering what they are used to and enjoy in their private lives.  Clients may be attractive only for the paycheck, but the engagement is still within the bounds of the provider's sexuality.  For a straight man, it's more like a gay man being paid to have sex with a middle-aged, overweight, socially awkward woman, a whole different level of performance is required.

  4. I use ExpressVPN and think it's a good part of "online hygiene," together with a firewall, virus blocker, popup blocker, etc.  It doesn't impact my throughput in any noticeable way, although it's lately messing with my torrent client, so that's a problem to be resolved. Be sure you choose one of the big ones with plenty of transmission points, check cnet.com or pcmag.com for informed comparisons.  Occasionally I have to turn it off to do a bank transaction or whatever because they validate my ISP, but that's easy.

  5. I think with the chain drugstores you just have to book and keep an appointment.  My impression in NYC in that pharmacists to administer vaxes are mostly "extras" jobbed in for specific blocks of time in each location, hence they may not be able to take a walk-in in some cases.

Is thisvd generally OK to use? The couple times I tried I got some feeling that wasn't secure and didn't continue, I can' explain why I'm just generally very cautious.

I've visited thisvid for years without negative incident, both viewing and downloading content. As with all porn sites, I think it's doubly important to be sure your protection is in full force: VPN, firewall/anti-virus, popup blocker, etc.  And of course, creating a completely anonymous account at the site without any identifying information.

MrExotixxx said he made 1 million in 12 months and was able to retire his mom. Considering he only does solos and the occasional straight sex and he is pandering to the gay crowd; can you imagine what the gold star gay ones are making?

I always take claims of giant payouts from fans pages with a huge grain of salt, it's really just self-promotion. (I'm so hot EVERYbody follows me so you should too.) I'm sure good money is made on the sites by the few creators who work their content consistently. (In my world, MikeGaite, nate_stetsonx, Seattle_Dad fit the bill.) I'm sure they wouldn't put in the amount of time and effort over time if it didn't pay. But I'm also sure they wouldn't be boasting publicly about their fanpage income.

  8. Several providers have been discussed here as, ahem, ripe targets for this particular interest.  A quick search of RM screening for the word 'scent' brings up the following. You can probably find more with similar word filters. The first, Bennett Anthony, somewhat newly based in NYC, is legendary for his 'personal aura.'

Are those here who are over 65 getting the senior flu shot?

Yes. I find pharmacies do it automatically, last year I only noticed it when I looked at the paper they gave me. This year I plan to get it at my place of employment, I've asked and they assured me they will have the senior version.  I'll ask again before the jab.

Truvada is not genetic.  It may be more popular than Descovy because it has been in existence longer and spends a lot on advertising, but it is not generic.  Truvada is also a high price brand name.

Emtricitabine/tenofovir (generic Truvada) absolutely is available in the US, from US pharmacies, and has been for a few years.  First FDA approvals were ~2017, although commercial availability was later. If my Dr prescribes it, my pharmacy manager fills it with the generic by default. GoodRx shows a number of retailers offering it for ~$30/month

  11. That's a question you almost certainly should call to ask. https://www1.nyc.gov/site/doh/health/health-topics/monkeypox.page

Under Eligibility:  "Vaccination is free and available regardless of immigration status or residency." But still, it would be good to check with someone.

When I went they did check my photo ID, but not sure if that included a check for residency, or simply to confirm the info I had input online.

Eeek! On many levels! Doesn't your NP attend continuing medical education classes? And what kind of insurance company doesn't require a prior authorization to be requested for an extraordinarily expensive medication like Descovy when there's an equally effective medication available for some 30 times less?

For the record, my (big company-provided, commercial) health insurance covers both (generic) Truvada and (brand-name) Descovy 100% in formulary with no out of pocket, no special authorization needed.

  13. Fully agree with FrankR, that you need to see a doctor and get clear on this under his/her care.

However, a few broad aspects of this (I am not a medical professional, I am on PrEP and have been for several years.)

In the US, the 2 drugs (combos of two drugs actually, emtricitabine and tenofovir) used for PrEP are Descovy and Truvada. They are both one pill daily. Descovy is newer and generally preferred because it's "lighter" in medication, the big whammy of Truvada isn't deemed necessary, although Truvada is available as a generic so your choice may be informed by what's available to you.

PrEP is taken on an ongoing basis, it's strongly advised NOT to stop and start based on your sexual activity.  Once you're on it, you stay on it.  Most people report no side effects, or other impediments to taking it (other than availability/affordability if that's an issue).

PEP is essentially the same thing but calibrated for suspected post-exposure.  I believe the regimen is higher dosing, and may involve another drug.  Many have reported that a course of PEP can be difficult to take, with unpleasant side effects.  The two approaches aren't combined.  Get on PrEP, stay on PrEP, that's it.

Guidance that I've seen is that it takes 10 days of daily dosing of Descovy or Truvada for full protection.  Obviously that's an estimate, but the key is not to assume you are fully protected tonight if you took your first pill this morning, your body has to ramp up to full protection.

But please do all of this with a trusted physician, or at least a provider from a sexual health clinic, to make sure you're clear on your situation and options.

  14. Hi Manuel, welcome to the forum!!

You're way more likely to get useful feedback if you provide some idea about what you look for in an escort.  Style (twink, muscle, bear, etc.), position (top, bottom, verse), other attributes that appeal to you (height, coloring, etc.).
