When a guy who is a "creator" says something like needing to take time to figure out what their fans want, I call bullshit.  Their fans want to see them naked and want to see them fuck.  Maybe some guys really do just want to watch hot guys hang out naked or nearly naked, but I'm sure most guys actually want to see sex.  If you don't want to deliver that, then I'm sure it DOES take time to think about how much titillating content you need to have to attract and maintain enough subscribers to make money, and maybe how to advance the content slowly towards more explicit content to keep thirsty fans hanging on hoping they will finally get what they want.  I guess there is a market for this stuff or there wouldn't be so many people doing it, but I just don't get the appeal of very soft core porn.

It is a generic term used to refer to sex workers but also non-sex workers like masseurs here on the forum.  I prefer "companion" instead of "provider".  Do you have a better generic term to propose?

With the pandemic, economic support for individuals and businesses has been very limited indeed. Unemployment is at very high levels (unofficial estimates are about 50%). It’s been a tough 2 years for many people there. Be careful and smart when hiring.

To me, this doesn’t seem realistic at all. Instead it sounds like a rather romantic notion. (As an aside, does your chosen screen-name reflect that you are indeed lonely?)
So how many times have you met? More than 50? More than 100? And are these only occasions of ‘dinner, bed & breakfast’? Or have you been on trips with him and spent 1-2 weeks in each other’s company?
I don’t see the age-difference as a barrier to romance (I myself have a much younger partner and we’ve been together for several years). But you have a number of significant obstacles to surmount. For instance, 
1. do you speak his mother-tongue very well?
2. are his educational attainments sufficient for him to have a decent career in your home-city?
3. do you have plenty of money to support him while he is getting established? (I’m not talking about the extra costs of feeding and housing him but rather his monthly allowance (say $1000 in a big city), his phone and gym bills, possibly a car etc)
4. is your home large enough? (Possibly his hobbies and interests may differ from yours, say he goes to bed much later than you, or plays loud music etc)
If you are serious about this @lonely_john, I urge you to take a trip with him and spend an entire month together. If you can’t enjoy that amount of time with him, consider how a couple of years will seem…

Interesting thread @JamesMorris. At 50, I was just out of a dull LTR of 15 years. I happened to be lean and fit, and financially well-established. Before I settled into a LTR, I’d been a serial monogamist.
 
So as a single man of 50, my sex life became turbo-charged. I explored the dating pool and as I travelled often, I hired several companions. As I like fit younger men, and discovered to my surprise that many like a fit older man, my sexual life became passionate and energetic.

After numerous extensive vacations in Australia, and repeated trips to excellent cake-shops in Melbourne and Sydney, I can confidently say that I’ve never heard an Aussie pronounce ‘cake’ as ‘kike’. 
 
Now I’m not sure whether historically ‘kike’ was used as an anti-Semitic slur in Australia (as it was in the UK a century ago) but I feel that any visitor should best avoid saying it.
