I know there’s a lot of circumlocution in this hobby, but when we’re talking among ourselves behind aliases and screen names, is it really necessary?

Example: Donation…If it’s a donation, then you’ll take less for the same thing? If not, then it’s not a donation. It’s minimally a fee.

”My prefer donation is $350 per hour?”

”Here’s $25.”

”Oh, thanks, man. Every little bit helps.”

Is it just me or do you have similar things that bug you like this?

You do know why the term 'donation' evolved, don't you??!!

True - the "language" used is part of the game we have to play.  I do admit I enjoy reading profiles, especially those for the newbies - they come up with the funniest things! (At least, it is funny in my head!)

Yes…

And we all know that it’s not a donation. As do law enforcement.

Here’s another beaut:

“Legal Disclaimer: Money exchanged in legal adult personal services is simply for time and companionship. Anything else that may or may not happen is a matter of personal choice between two consenting adults of legal age. It is not contracted for and is not compensated for in any manner.”

I think it would be marvelous if providers could set themselves up as a charitable organization, and then I would be glad to make a donation to their cause and get a tax receipt in exchange.

It would take some ingenuity to avoid their charitable activities from being construed as a service. Maybe more like a religious activity or service, where donations made to the ministry are tax deductible.

Perhaps they could set up confessional booths in their premises where they could work their magic to unburden those seeking relief, just to keep things on the up and up.

If one is paid for their time~ It’s a rate for one’s hourly service whatever that might be~ It is not illegal to charge for your time~

Charging a show up fee and then charging more for specific sexual acts beyond that is prostitution~

escorting is not illegal. Prostitution, in many cases is~
Please check your local and state ordinances for more details~

Your idea of charitable/religious absolution thru confessionals is tantalizing~ We really need to update our laws at local and federal levels… legalize prostitution, tax the providers and provide them paychecks. Standardize the rate schedules, provide sti screening and incentives~ Maybe unionize both male and female providers~

if I can get the providers I like to more than grind my other body parts...all being aligned on why we're meeting up in the first place, I do not mind the tempered language or word choices if it gives them a sense of security.

Right~? That sense of security comes into play realistically

You can always ask them if they are or are associated with law enforcement~

And what would that do?

Don't tell me you believe in that old trope that a cop “has to tell you he’s a cop,” do you? I mean, my god, every mafia investigation, major drug investigations, gun runners, etc. could all be shut down instantly with one question? Do you really think that?

Forgive me… I stand corrected~ The answer you were looking for is: Do nothing~

I can’t decide if you’re being serious or facetious. Courts have ruled that cops are allowed to lie in the course of conducting business if it’s meant to lead to apprehension. A cop is not obligated one iota to reveal that they’re a cop. In fact, they’re encouraged not to. That’s no protection whatsoever against apprehension.

Often the case with me: serious vs facetious~🙂 Conversation like this often brings me to ponder Rudy Giuliani in Borat 2 & images of trump and his sugar plum Faeries with Jeffery Epstein on the love boat~
