  1. Never trust an ad that includes words like "premium," "not cheap," "selective," or this new one: "upper echelon." Kids these days....
  2. Everyone keeps the Sabbath in their own way 😄
  3. Hopefully my doctor won't have to come up with one.... EDIT: Referring to HIV treatment plans. Kidney disease is incurable. But in the meanwhile, it's a PITA to get my insurance to cover injectible PREP, since the others would hit my kidneys too. Either way, condoms are my friend.
  4. One of my regulars told me about how he and other Chicago escorts meet and discuss clients. Apparently, I came up during one of those meetings. My RP acting can be amusing 😆
  5. Then my physician, who's also a professor of internal medicine, is also misinformed. I have kidney disease. The meds would hurt me.
  6. Since I was at college, the majority my initial gay contacts were Asian. I regret not settling down with one of the pre-med students who later became rich doctors 😄 I have also found Asian guys (ones not born in the U.S.) to be more responsible, honest, and serious. On the downside, that means their first priority was usually their studies or their jobs. And a lot of Asian countries have a stigma against being gay, which causes some damage. I had a (straight) college roommate from Taiwan who was openly homophobic, and another friend from Taiwan who couldn't come to terms with his sexuality until he was in his 40s. And they do look younger - guys in their 40s can easily pass for 20s/30s. And since many gay guys have a "preference" against them, they're very flattered when contacted via Grindr. Of course, the Americanized ones have no such culture - there's only one Asian escort I met, and I stopped hiring him after he stood me up and pretended he wasn't.
  7. Yes. I didn't come out until the 90s, but even then, I recall older mentors suffering many "bad days" due to the drug cocktails they were taking. Some didn't make it. Or being around men who had zero white blood cells in their arteries. Or the unusual changes to their bodies, which they were embarrassed of. And like it was mentioned - HIV is only really controllable in First World Counties. Go to Africa and you'll see lots of dying people. The treatment ain't cheap. I can see why people want to forget. Society turned its back on the gay community and allowed too many people to die. And it's disgusting that young gay kids on Truvada know nothing of what happened. Even though it could very easily could happen again, with the right virus mutations.
  8. That's what everyone needs. Hell, if I get a house boy after I retire, I plan on seeing a lawyer and making a contract, even if I have to use vague terms due to legal issues. I deserve service, and he deserves protections.
  9. I also search CoM before I hire a new guy. But I also like new young talent. However, I'm a lot more careful about unvetted new guys. Too many guys catfish, and among certain groups, catfishing is the norm. Recently saw a hot looking guy on RM, but held off. Sure enough, he got a one star as his first review and then luckily disappear.
  10. That's a provider who probably has this attitude: "All gay guys who pay for sex are pathetic closet cases who can't get laid, and EDIT are too horny to resist." Wrong attitude. In more ways than one.
  11. Yes. The "erotic" massage cost 55 more than the "sensual" massage. And as far as I'm concerned, it was fair to deduct that. He came to the session unable to perform an erotic massage similar to the one you established already. I don't like lip piercings either, and that's a valid preference for not hiring someone.
  12. Don't worry - you're not comparable at all...
  13. Maybe it means they don't blow their load immediately.
  14. Yes - Zelle requires a person's true name, and for that reason, some providers don't want to use it. I don't blame them, and accommodate that. Personally, I prefer using cash.
  15. Make sure the news media knows the name of the insurance company that's screwing over veterans.
  16. There's a saying. Bodybuilder sponsoring is a rich man's sport.
  17. Depends on your refractory period.
  18. It is unfortunate, but Asians in general are underrepresented on RentMen. There was only one good one in Chicago, and I blocked him after he stood me up. Grindr I found more useful and cheaper in that area. You'd be surprised how many Indian and Asian guys are flattered to get positive feedback after the "preferences" so many guys have against Asians.
  19. I'm a client and work for a living. I've had providers - including a rather famous one - completely ignore that and bother me at work, trying to get me to change my appointment to during work. Some providers don't have day jobs, and they're the worst. It's if they have no conception of what a workplace is like.
  20. Prelubed....and pref@cked...
  21. Ditto. I try to point them towards this site too, which is a pain since RM Messenger censors websites.
  22. I don't tip, but I send my regulars Christmas gifts via Zelle or CashApp.
  23. I only did it once, and I did buy the tickets myself. The problem - he insisted on getting more expensive tickets on a more expensive plane when he could have come cheaper. That's why I won't do it anymore.
  24. I love this. The consensus on those threads were: - It's ok to hire homeless guys, BUT - Don't give them extra money The consensus on this thread is: - It's despicable to offer money to a day laborer Morally, there is a lot of hypocrisy here, as someone mentioned earlier. As I concluded earlier - soliciting day laborers directly isn't smart or safe, but if they want to advertise on Grindr as well and are willing to accept offers through that, fine. Day laborers in landscaping don't just "garden" - they spend those 10 hours digging holes and carrying heavy rolls of sod or bags of topsoil. If one of them wants to get their pay easier, good for them.
  25. Smart. Legally, at least in my state, having sex with a drunk person can be considered sexual assault, since technically they can't give reasoned consent .
