  1. This is going to be a set of stupid questions, but I'm not too familiar with the lottery because I don't play that much (for background, I live in California):

    1. Even if I win a scratch it ticket prize of $7.00, does the state still record how much money people win, regardless on how tiny and little money the prize is?

    2. I understand why news won't report someone winning $100K (which to me is still a lot of money), but if you win an amount under 1 million, can you choose to do the payment plan of 30 years? Or for smaller amounts, they won't offer that and would rather give it to you all in one lump sum after taxes?

  2. @DavidNY and @White Daddy Top don't give up! Keep an eye on the Lounge and the next PS Forum Gathering Event will be announced sometime this year and once it does, you can start making reservations to InnDulge or Hacienda and join us in the event activities!  And though meeting providers is definitely fun, meeting the other forum members and developing new friendships is the highlight. :)

  3. I made it back home and did all my laundry and errands, but I wanted to say that this was a wonderful year!  Not only was the Trio dinner excellent, but I met so many new people and reconnected with some old ones and got to know them on a deeper level. And I learned how to play the Five Crowns card game for the first time!

And the lemon bars were a hit! Good ice breaker and I actually met some cute guys outside the forum over them (and I feel sort of proud that they were better than the ones served at the Trio)! Maybe next year, I'll bring my homemade apple pie bars with caramel sauce.

Many thanks to everyone who made this event as relaxing and stress-free and fun as possible. 🥰

what time tonight? should we just meet at a certain time?

Not sure. I think people will trickle in on their own after dinner so I might head over at 8:30 PM just to check it out. But no confirmed group or time as of now.

  5. Village fest is 6-10 PM tonight so if anyone wants to go, I can take three people and we can carpool there. Parking may be a bit crowded but I’ll try to park close by. I’m at the InnDulge so PM if you want to go. I might try to beat the crowd and leave at 5:45 PM.

Also PM if you want to organize something on Friday night; I can drive since Ubers are too expensive.

Also, Saturday from 8:00 to 1:00 PM is the Farmers Market at the PS Cultural Center. I’ll leave around 11:00 for a good meal of tamales so let me know if you want to come along. :)

is anyone going to Tool Shed this evening?

No but I did want to go to Hunters on Friday. Tonight I wanted to try the Village Fest.

However, see if anyone wants to go with you as a group tonight. :)

  7. Tomorrow I’ll be going to the Village-Fest and if anyone wants to go with, we can make it a group activity on Thursday night.

Also made lemon bars last night and will make the blueberry compote before heading out to PS for us to enjoy at the pool at Inndulge. ;)

  8. I’ve never been to Hunters and seen go-go boys so that sounds good! And we’ll be experiencing a heat wave in SoCal next week so I’ll be prepared for hot weather even at night.

if we do something at the pool of InnDulge instead I will bring my homemade lemon bars we can all enjoy. :)

Easiest way to organize that would be right here.  Anyone wanting to go to the Toolshed for Happy hour on next Friday?  Hunters has two for one 6 dollar well drinks on Friday iif that is more appealing.   Also go-go boys at Hunters. Parking would likely be tough so if you are voting for Hunters car pooling is probably best.

I'm going to confess something: I've only been to a gay bar at night once years and years ago, and I didn't have a good time because I was drinking by myself. If we go in a group, I might be tempted to come along for the ride just for the experience. But why is parking tough? If it's a small parking loot, can't we just park in the street?

  10. Maybe some luck can happen for this search: anyone have a recent picture of 90s star, Luke Savage?

He was popular from the late 90s/early 2000s, and was actually a Marine before he got discharged for doing gay porn. I won't invade his privacy, but I'm just wondering if anyone knows what he looks like now. Thank you!

He's available on RM as an escort in LA, although he's much more tattooed now. I don't remember his username as I've never hired him but saw him as a dancer at the Adonis Lounge in LA years back.

Do you have a link? He's quite gorgeous. :)

  12. I learned that PS also has a Villagefest on Thursday nights which is a Thursday night street fair for vendors, arts, crafts, and of course, lots of food stalls and trucks!

    https://villagefest.org/

Plus, there's the Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings at the Palm springs Cultural Center:

    CERTIFIEDFARMERSMARKETS.ORG

Fresh and locally grown fruits, vegetables, flowers, meat and more. All our farmers and vendors are certified so you can trust that the produce is organic and grown in an...

We can make a group visit/event to there if people are interested. :)

  13. I hope 2025 will be a safe and calm year; 2024 was incredibly hectic and had a lot of bad moments, but I need to remember the blessings and good things that happened in 2024 too.

Wishing everyone fun, love, friendships, and hope we meet new people at the Palm Springs Forum Gathering in April. A new friend/acquaintance is always welcome.
