  1. To all, I'm wondering how to broach a sensitive subject.

I'm planning to hire an escort who has good reviews here and I know his Twitter account. I was looking at his pictures when I noticed a set of lesions on his right hand:

    image.thumb.png.175a0c060e3a0a5f0875919777682b0c.png

At first I thought it was a cut or eczema but then I took a closer look, and (forgive me for assuming since I am not a medical professional) it looks really similar to herpes sores. The thing is how should I approach this subject?

    1. Should I hold off hiring the escort until his skin clears up?

    2. Should I make plans with the escort but simply ask him "I noticed in your Twitter pictures of your hand. Are you all right and is it something we should both worry about or be aware of?"

    3. Or is the picture a simple rash / injury and I'm making too much of a big deal about it?

As much as I want to not offend the escort with my questions, I do want to be safe (and play safe too).  So I'm wondering from fellow escorts, if this were you, how would you like a client to approach you on this?

    Thank you.

  2. I met him twice during the Palm Springs event.

Would recommend. He only does therapeutic (when I politely asked if he would do the massage shirtless, he said he wouldn't be comfortable with that).

However, he's gregarious, friendly, and a complete sweetheart in addition to actually giving a wonderful deep pressure massage (though he will respond if you ask him to lighten the intensity). He really does have magical fingers and he massaged everything from my back to my feet and even my scalp. So if you want a really good massage, he's totally worth it (hence the second visit). And of course, in the end, he does give a good bear hug. :)

  3. Many thanks to everyone for making this event so enjoyable and memorable from the early-bird pool party to the dinners and breakfasts. I'm glad the majority of us stayed in the InnDulge this year for it was pleasant to talk and hang around the pool and relax outside the scheduled meals.

Here's hoping I can remember everyone's names again next year, although some definitely stayed in my mind thanks to all the great people and company during this past weekend.

    *hugs everyone*

Would I be correct if I guessed the OP received these as gifts?

Actually, believe it or not, I got them from my Mom's kitchen. They were given to her as gifts for her wedding back in 1980, and she put them in the cabinet above her refrigerator and left it there after her divorce. When the time came to renovate her kitchen, while cleaning out the old cabinets, I came across these bottles and asked her if she wanted them. She said no and told me we could throw it away or give it away (understandable).

I asked to take them because I figured I could sell them, and she was fine with it. Hence why I have them. :)

And you'll get a tax deduction, plus the joy of knowing you helped the charity of your choice. I'm not a lawyer, but my understanding is that selling alcohol without a license in illegal in California anyway.

I was thinking at the time more of selling to a liquor antique store or a liquor establishment of some type, really. Sort of like a pawn shop. But now at this point, I'll settle for a charity auction. Thanks for the advice though.

I heard on some online forum somewhere that there's some kind of pool party this Sunday............

Maybe I can offer this to an escort who's a cognac/liquor aficionado for a discount off his normal rate. ;)

But seriously, the more I think about it, a charity auction might be best. I would love the money to help out a good cause...

  7. To all, I'm heading to the Palm Springs event, but I was thinking maybe it would be good to sell two old bottles of liquor that have never been opened and have been gathering dust in my home.

The problem is that I have no idea where to sell them.

I tried submitting my pictures online to a cognac expert and they gave me a price for one, but it's located in the United Kingdom and I would have to pay for shipping. I decided to just see if I could sell them locally (I'm here in SoCal).

Attached are the pictures, but does anyone have any idea of a place I could perhaps sell these bottles of liquor for cash?

    Thank you.

  8. Tying up a muscled guy with rope and gagging him with cloth spread-eagled on a bed before doing controlled breath play with a pillow over his face in 30 second intervals. It's a thing with me to watch and hear a muscular, strong man struggling and writhing under you while giving off muffled moans (same with watching a muscular man getting chloroformed).

And before anyone asks, yes, I've done it with a few who were willing consensual and with safety in mind, and secondly, it turns out the lack of oxygen can make someone have a pretty good orgasm. ;)

I have been speaking with Bobby Biceps and Tristan Baldwin and have managed to get definite maybes to attending.  Schedule permitting.    General interest from the attendees would be helpful.  Vin Marco will be attending the dinner but is likely a no for the pool party.

Tristan Baldwin in a sweetheart and he did mention about getting together for the pool party to try a "show", so I'm glad. I would like to meet Bobby Biceps and see how he is in person, and Vin I met last year at the pre-dinner party with you, and he's a gem as well. I look forward to seeing all three of them.

I am loo9king forward to it and I have encouraged several escorts to consider joining us.  I have told them to post on the travel section here and at least two of them have assured me if they have interest from clients they would definitely join us.  So check out the travel section in the next few weeks and serif if there are any escorts you would care to meet and let them know so as to encourage thenm to attend.

David, I look forward to seeing you are you place again.  Always a fun time.

@purplekow That's a wonderful idea! I recall you know maturedmuscle who is in DC quite well, but he won't travel to the West Coast. If he is someone you can convince to join us in the celebrations, then I look forward to booking a session with him. As well as any other escorts you manage to convince to come.

  11. To quote Lisa Tepes (the human doctor who charms and befreinds Dracula from Castlevania), "to make the world better".

I think even something minor as planting a fruit tree for future children to eat and play under or donating food to a shelter or food bank for a poor family can lead to great changes from something small for future generations.  So really, we're put on this Earth to help others (as much as we can) and leave the planet better than we have found it.

  12. I managed to get my first monkeypox vaccine yesterday, and it was all the way out in Pomona (I live in OC so 45 minutes drive). A small red bump but the technician administering my shot commented she was amazed that the fluid she injected into my skin sank and dispersed so quickly. I learned two things:

    1. Othena's website wasn't helpful at all. Each time it said a slot was available, when I tried to get to the appointment page, the icon for the page load kept running and running until I gave up (I left it running for 8 hours while i was working at home!). The only way I managed to score an appointment was the government website MyTurn in five minutes.

    2. Apparently, I cannot take any other vaccinations until four weeks after my second monekypox vaccine. They aren't sure how it would react with other vaccinations and the clinic warned me that they had one patient who did the monkeypox vaccine and then two other vaccines for hepatitis. He got so weak and sick that he had trouble getting back to the clinic where they had to direct him to an urgent care clinic to deal with his fever and fatigue. So they told me after four weeks after my second monkeypox vaccine, I can get the COVID booster and the flu shot together at the same time. Until then, nothing else for the next two months.

    Stay safe everyone.

  13. Booked at InnDulge; will be there from April 13 to 17th. Can't wait (and hopefully I'll get my monkeypox vaccines by then).

As for Canyon Club, correct me if I'm wrong but I thought they were going to renovate it completely into a brand new resort/hotel? Is that not the case? Because if so, maybe the new Canyon Club will be loads better and much more updated with more amenities, benefits, and other stuff to truly make it feel like a five-star resort.

Caveat: InnDugle requires booking of at least four nights in order for you to register and reserve, hence why I had to show up earlier than planned. I guess it didn't happen last year since the event was not on a Coachella weekend. Still excited to see all of you guys again. :)

    In Seattle, WA:

    1. Vaccination is prioritized for people who meet both criteria:
      • Gay, bisexual, or other men or transgender people who have sex with men AND
      • At least one of the following:
        • More than 10 sex partners in the prior 3 months
        • History of early syphilis or gonorrhea in the prior year
        • Methamphetamine use in the prior month
        • Attendance at a bathhouse, other public sex venue, or group sex (sex including at least 3 people at the same time) in the prior 3 months
        • Experiencing homelessness/unstable housing AND currently living in a congregate setting AND had any sexual activity in the prior 3 months.

People who are high risk close contacts of people diagnosed for monkeypox are also prioritized for vaccine

Same here for Southern California, and the problem is that unless I did one of the following, I still don't qualify. At this point, maybe I should lie in order to get the vaccine.

You’re in a scary state of denial.

So was I at first. I thought “the numbers in nyc are so low it’s like the lottery—what are the chances?”

Then a sex buddy of mine texted me a few days later that he was very sick and he was pretty sure it was monkeypox and he was worried if I was sick. I assured him I felt fine but we had had sex only a week or so before. I called some colleagues and my friend went to a clinic and the diagnosis was confirmed. He was in a lot of pain. Not a pretty picture. Rash on his back, arms and neck. The numbers are low because they can’t do many tests per day so they just tell presumptive cases to go home and isolate.
I’ve seen my friend on Grindr since, hooking up. So much for isolating.
Since then two other friends have come down with it.
It scared me so much I went to Canada to get the vaccine. NYC has been a disaster and after the very near miss I had with the pox I wasn’t going to wait for NYC to sort it out.
    Don’t be in denial please.

    ...let me get this straight.

Your friend knows he's positive for monkeypox and he's going through painful side effects and symptoms, and rather ensure he doesn't subject anyone else to to the disease....

He's going out and hooking up? 😲

Is there a reason why he's not caring if he infects someone else?

  16. I found this article on Queerty where a gay nurse described his symptoms on TikTok:

    https://www.queerty.com/loved-florida-trip-monkeypox-blisters-appeared-20220717

This is the part that surprised me:

    Quote

He has discussed each symptom as they occurred, which gay sex venue might have exposed him to the virus, and the lesions inside his rectum that have caused him a great deal of pain.

I thought the lesions and blisters from monkeypox could only happen on skin, not on internal mucous membranes like the rectum. Because this wouldn't that mean that each time he deficates, he'd be in pain because the stool would press against his lesions? And theoretically, that could mean that the lesions can occur in other membranes other than skin like the throat, gums, or mouth.

I would love the get the vaccine, and when I get my yearly physical exam, I'll request it from my primary, but it sounds like until I can get vaccinated, I won't be hiring any time soon (not worth the risk). I mean, I haven't had sex since April, and though it can be a little frustrating, I definitely don't want to go through this.
