No basis to judge whether it was his bad day or not since i only see him on the occasion...service was great the first time, second time seemed disinterested and ended session early with no follow up (unlike the first one).

saw him twice last year...first one was decent and second one no good.....

INteresting to read that he still does the same routine of meeting up outside in public place near his place before walking over. I met him more than 10 years ago and that was the routine...glad somethings dont change

There's a grander issue of bad clients who have given providers bad experiences. Leading them to do things like ask the client for photos or to ask for a deposit as some kind of guarantee the client is legit. And for clients who are good clients this is seen as some affront to their goal of being provided service by the provider. Which leads to many of you having these pithy catty comments about providers because of a lack of empathy for providers. As evidenced by others here saying they should suck it up and deal with because it's part of the job (which isn't true and isn't inherently how it has to be).
And conversely there are providers who have conned or scammed clients, by running with deposit money or given bad performance after receiving deposit or upfront pay, which leads to clients being highly skeptical of upfront asks by the good providers.
The bad eggs on both sides have ruined it for the good eggs on both sides, and there's no solution to it other than everyone just operating as they please individually. As has also been said here and elsewhere.
But i do think it's interesting how the assumed good clients here are still so quick to have all these catty comments while providers are still expected to speak of clients as politely as possible even in criticism or explaining their own instances of being wronged by clients.

You have to ask ahead of time. If they specifically agree to DTK but refuse in person, I'd kick them out with a token fee, followed by possible reporting here on CoM and RentMen depending on his reaction.

I've been ghosted. We agreed that I would contact him yesterday to confirm our appointment today. I messaged him twice yesterday and as we used WhatsApp I could see that he read them as of last night.
I did hear back from an RM reviewer that the pics are accurate.
If anyone else manages to see him please report back.

met Ben waaaay back when he first started and became buffed....even back then it was a great time so go for it. He's likely very busy and charges accordingly so be prepared if you really want to see him.

Agree...that's my "rule " too...I either agree or don't agree and move on. Never negotiated. For longer time appointments (greater than 2 hrs) but not Overnight I ask them flat out to tell me, and same i either agree and book, or say no. Similarly in those situatons some have come right back after i said I'll pass with a different and lower rate. 

Just my own approach:
Once quoted a rate, I either agree or decline.
On a couple of occasions, a provider has immediately dropped the rate (which I neither expected nor wanted), with one dropping it almost in half.  
When that happened about seven months ago entailing ale_aleman who’d also been VERY deceitful with me about where he even was when we began corresponding two hours prior, I did respond in a terse manner.
Thereafter, I was utterly lampooned by members of this forum (about 32 such entries with high fives and one member praising another member for “calling it like I see it” regarding me — he “called” a very obvious ball a strike — and one member posting a tutorial on rate negotiation which I neither asked for nor wanted).
Accordingly, I deleted the entire post.  The only comment I thought that was appropriate did come from @Jamie21, who basically said rate negotiation is very unlikely to result in a pleasing and fulfilling subsequent meeting.  I did feel vindicated when @johnwhatelse made this post on the individual in question.
You do what you feel comfortable with, but for me, a final “yes” or “no” upon being quoted a rate has served me well for 22 years, and I plan to stick with that firm policy no matter how many unsolicited (and unwanted) tutorials on “rate negotiation” may surface on any future post which I originate.

Took one for the team...stay away. Horrible text communication, gave him the benefit of doubt that English is not first language and proceeded anyways despite many red flags. Said he's not into kissing despite being in his ad, and i asked twice during set up.  DOnt think he's really into doing this line work. BUyer beware

Hiring a provider is an emotional, intimate experience. But it's different from spending time with friends, family and romantic partners. You don't pay a provider to spend time with you; you pay him to leave. It's a transactional relationship. Embrace it.
