I’ve also done some banning of email domains since a bunch of accounts used 6 different weird domains.  I’ve gone through all accounts created today and banned a few that had not posted yet but were showing up like the others.

That does not stop the spam. It just means the posts are still there for a moderator to clean up that you don’t see.
The moderators have an “easy” button that lets them flag a user as a spammer. With a click, anything they’ve ever posted is removed, their profile is scrubbed, and the account banned.

Each post does not need reported. A single report per user is enough so they can be removed.

This sounds somewhat like Dick's Last Resort.  I was with a group in Vegas with a group of people and when the waiter came over to the table, he said "Oh hell no...  ya'll aren't about to work me like this!"  He made us get up and marched us over to make our own drinks.  They would throw napkins or straws at patrons....  and at the end, they made us paper hats with insults on them.
I had never laughed so hard at dinner before....  it was a ton of fun.  Wait staff were very witty and you could tell they loved the job.

I fly several times a month and feel safer in a plane than I do on a car, bus, train, etc.
I do dislike needing to devote a good chunk of the day to flying (getting to the airport, TSA, being there early enough to not be worried, boarding, waiting, air time, getting through destination airport and travel to destination).

BUT… while it may burn most of my day, I absolutely feel safe. While a control may fail, there are many various layered controls that make those near misses stay as near misses.

Also the reason it did not show is because I have to manually remember to add holidays that don’t have a “fixed” day. The IPB calendar does not have a concept of “1st Tuesday of the Month” for recurring events. So events with a fixed day (Oct 31st, Dec 25th, Jan 1st, Feb 14th) are easy to “set and forget” but ones that can happen on different days are dependent on me remembering to go in each year and adding it. Unfortunately my mind is not quite what it was earlier in life!
So nothing sinister… just a faulty brain.

RadioRob got a reaction from + Dallas4000 in Coming Soon: Reviews for Masseurs
I don't know if folks saw my teaser in the Lounge for the new review site, but with the new system we will have the capability to have multiple categories of things to review.  This will include things such as:

Inside of each category will be items (either a person or a place).  It's basically the thing being reviewed.  Each item depending on what category that it is in can have a set of questions/fields associated with it.  This allows us to ask different questions for each type of item being reviewed.
Within each item will be the ability to have reviews.  Again, since different categories can have different types of needs, I can create different questions for the reviews themselves.  Think of the reviews as descriptions of the encounter.  You will have an item (aka the masseur) and then the item will have reviews that describe member's encounters.
Given the progress that is being made with the new review site, I'm ready to start figuring out what information we want to collect.  This is where I need your help!
I need to collect both the types of categories we want and what questions would be in the category.  For example:
    ITEM INFO
    Contact Info
Ad URL Phone Email Website Physical Info
Age Ethnicity Height Weight Body Build Style Massage
Type (Sports, Deep Tissue, Erotic, etc) Experience (years) Location (In-call, Out-call, etc) REVIEW INFO
Location (City, State, Country) Date of Encounter Session Type (In, Out, etc) Session Length Rate (Price ranges...  100-199, 200-299, 300-399, etc) Would You Hire Again (Rate of 5 stars) Did They Match Description (Rate of 5 stars) Lived Up To Expectations (Rate of 5 stars) Review Details (A text box similar to replying to a post to free-form describe your experience.) I need to do this for both individual masseurs and for spas.  I would anticipate there would be different things you would want to know about a spa versus someone who is freelance. Let me know the types of info you think are critical to ask about both the item (person) and about the encounter itself.

For the new review site, I need to start thinking about what info we want to collect.  I have taken the data from Daddy's site and have reworked it somewhat to fit into our new system.
Going forward, we will have a database of "items" (escorts, masseurs, strip clubs, spas, restaurants, bars, etc).  For each item category, we can have different sets of questions.  These should be things that describe the item (in this case the escort).  This info would be stuff about the PERSON, not about the encounter such as height, weight, hair color, build, etc.
Once an item is added to the database, reviews can be associated to it.  This would be where we post about the encounter itself.  Such as where did it take place, how long, how much was paid, if the person matched their description, and if the person delivered on the promised experience.
Below are the fields that I have so far for the escort category...  am I missing anything critical?
    ITEM FIELDS
    Name
    Location
    Contact Info
Ad URL Phone Email Website Physical Info
Age  Ethnicity Height Weight Body Build Style Smoking Piercings Tattoos Eye Color Hair
Hair Color Hair Length Facial Hair Body Hair Premium (NOTE: This field may or may not be included.  I'm trying to figure out if this will become a "premium" field for subscribers or if it will be member only, etc.  It under no circumstances will be available to guests not logged in.)
Penis Length Penis Girth Preferences Position Orientation Kissing Frot Oral Anal REVIEW FIELDS
Location Date Session Type (In, Out, etc) Session Length Rate Paid Would You Hire Again?  (Rate 1-5 stars) Match Description?  (Rate 1-5 stars) Lived Up to Expectations?  (Rate 1-5 stars) You'll notice most of the fields are associated with the item, which is entered only once.  When adding a review, you don't have to re-enter all of the info since we already have it.  Instead you simply just give us the details about your specific encounter with that person.  My hope is this makes it easier submitting a review!
Also...  we don't want to ask TOO many questions!  Each question means more info we're trying to collect and adds more friction to getting someone to actually complete it!  If it's too hard to fill out or it feels like you're doing your taxes, people won't submit things!  So please don't be upset if not all suggestions make their way into the final version.  It's not personal...  I promise!

That's actually a great question.  "Wealth" is not always about money.  You leave the world the same way you came into it...  without any sort of worldly possessions.  Now what you CAN leave with is love and respect.  Those are two things Daddy had in spades.  So he left this world very wealthy in what really mattered.
Many businessmen when they leave are not able to say that they've touched the lives of thousands of people around the world.  They cannot say that thousands of people loved him dearly and miss him no longer being here.  That was absolutely not the case for Daddy.
As a result... I'll always remember him as wealthy.

Just one year ago today, my dear friend and travel companion, Epigonos, left us on his 82nd birthday.  He was gruff and garrulous with strong opinions, always vocal about where he stood on an issue, but the sweetest man, in disguise.  He was generous, kind and sentimental, always protective of those he loved.
Was it just a year ago?

RadioRob got a reaction from ICTJOCK in Political Issues Forum Retired
Since I have taken over running the site nearly two years ago, the Political Issues forum has represented literally 90% of all of the issues that the moderators have had to deal with.  We have attempted to keep the forum civil and a place where people can have mature discussions about those topics.  This includes implementing tools to remind people about our rules, giving reminders and warnings, etc.  I did this because I felt having an area that people could have an open dialog might provide a venue where people could exchange ideas and learn from each other.
This has not happened over the last two years.  Instead it has simply become a cesspool of topics that simply attacked other members and baited the other side.  The moderators have literally have had to spend HOURS each week dealing with the output and there is nothing else I can think of that will make people use the forum as it was intended.  As a result, the Political Issues discussion forum is now retired and has been hidden on this site.
Our community guidelines will be updated to reflect that political discussion is no longer permitted on the site.

RadioRob got a reaction from MuscleGent in Coming Soon: Master Threads
One of the biggest challenges that I've observed over the years is the number of "411" threads on a specific person.  There are times we could have anywhere from 3-12 on a single person!  This could happen for different reasons...  such as someone not knowing how to use the search function or the provider had changed their name.
When we eventually launch the new review site, when a new item is added... a forum topic will automatically be created for that place/person.  It will have a subject of:
    [ Category ] Item Name
So for example, it might look like:
    [ Escort ] John Doe
The first post inside of that topic will contain fields from the review (I can pick which fields get brought over so not all may be posted).  The goal will be that the topic will become the master topic about discussion about that item (person/place).
Over time...  if we see information that changes about the item, people will be able to report it so that it can be updated.  So if an escort changes their name for example, someone would report that record and provide the new name.  A moderator will be able to update the item.  They'll also be able to add the old name to a special field called "Former Names".  This will let us to better track those who change their names from time to time.
Inside the review record, it might look something like:

If other things change, that can be updated in the record itself.
All of the detail from that record anytime it is edited would also sync to the master thread and edit the first post in it with the updated info, including the topic title if there was a a name change involved.
Now... I'm going to put this out there now that moderators may from time to time not publish a name change in the "Former Names" field.  If we have reason to believe there is a risk to the person or there is another legitimate reason, we may update the name field only without adding the old name to the former name field.
This will hopefully allow the first post to contain all of the latest known info about each item as it gets changed over time without needing to update 500 places.  If it works out the way I'm hoping, this will become the "source of truth" about the item and people can comment over time with their own observations, etc.  The topic itself would not be used for reviews.  (That's what the review system is for.) But general discussion about the person would happen there.
Eventually if someone does post a new thread about someone where a master topic exists, the moderators may end up merging that post into the master.
This is obviously not in place yet.  I'm just tossing the idea out there now so folks have a chance to comment on it and get used to the idea.
