  1. I have reason to believe boomerboy and buckleup are the same person.  They share both the same IP address and device IDs.

This person has created multiple user accounts to promote/defend themself.  They've also threatened the site with lawsuits and criminal charges.  Based on his actions here, I would recommend our members not engage with this person in any way.

That's weird to me. I've been on message boards before where you have to wait 24 hours to make a post after you've joined to help prevent bots and spamming but the editing thing seems odd.

This is done for multiple reasons...  spam is one, but in addition it has been abused by people who have been banned from the site who come back and try to register additional accounts to circumvent their ban.   There is lots of "crap" ya'll don't see that the staff deal with on a regular basis.  :)

  3. There are a lot of factors...  for example, was she being monitored by a health professional while this was occurring?  Was she taking supplements/vitamins to get the things the body needed?

At one point, I weighed over 500lbs and lost wait through diet and exercise.  At one point, I was only eating around 1000 calories a day (eventually moving to 1500).  For the first few weeks, I was just hateful as I was ALWAYS hungry.  Eventually I reached a point where it was "normal" for me.

I would have something like a banana in the morning, a can of green beans for lunch, and a chicken breast with beans and steamed broccoli for dinner.  If I was hungry, I would eat raw veggies like celery, carrots, or broccoli.  (It was hard to not want to dip them in something like ranch!)  You can ingest a LOT of food that is not a lot of calories if you eat the right things!

As part of that weight loss, I was reasonably active.  I was walking between 3-10 miles per day and was up and about taking care of the yard, etc.

  4. There is someone here who is creating multiple accounts to try and make their point.  If the crap is not cut, those accounts will all make their way to the site ban list.  Considering one of the accounts registered has the name "Brady" in it, my guess is the provider is choosing to make a roundabout way of defending himself.  (And folks should know me well enough by now that I don't make accusations where I don't have the receipts to prove my statements.)

  5. This site is not affiliated in any way with MasseurFinder.  Many of our users also use the service, but no one here would know why your account was disabled or be able to assist in restoring access to it.  @FrankR has posted a few resources you might try reaching out to.

Also to protect your privacy, I've edited your phone number out of the posts in this thread.

  6. Linking to an image (meaning you paste the URL) means you're counting on the "source" to host the image.  If they remove that image or block it, that image will no longer show on our site.

By uploading it to our site (meaning you saved it to your computer and then "choose files"), a copy of it is stored on our site itself meaning you don't have to worry it disappearing in the future.

  7. It's because the image source is not available.  For example:

    https://www.boytoy.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2018_06/Screenshot_20180614-151010_Chrome.jpg.e94c9378788b62dfba15a8530984eb15.jpg

That image file is not accessible.  I tried to load it in my browser, but it just timed out attempting to load it.  If I manually changed the URL to:

    https://www.gayguides.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2018_06/Screenshot_20180614-151010_Chrome.jpg.e94c9378788b62dfba15a8530984eb15.jpg

It looks like the webmaster there never setup 301 redirects to route any request from their old URL to the new one.

There is not a set time for any image to be expired/deleted.  However things like domain changes can cause some issues like this from time to time.

  8. Stickies are good for communicating short term announcements, but I'm trying to avoid them for long term messaging.  They end up eventually cluttering the display and making you scroll through a whole bunch of stuff to find what you really came for.

My long term vision is to instead of simply having forums to also have articles and/or blogs.  These sort of things are much better for that sort of information.

I can imagine a series of articles around things like hiring best practices, communications, etc.  I can also see a set of resources/articles for providers...  how to respond to criticism, how to promote yourself, etc.  These would be things that could be more easily found in dedicated areas instead of being mixed in with literally millions of other posts.

How will it work for providers who are both escorts and masseurs?

There would be two different item records.  One in the Escort category and one in the Masseur category.  If they also happened to own a massage parlor in addition to their "side work", they could have a record for it in the Spas category.... and if they were very entrepreneurial with their own bar, they could have a record for it too!  🤪  🙃

I’m relatively new too and didn’t think I had anything to contribute but I’ve found the more I put myself out there the more I get out of this site and the connection with other members. Welcome!

That about sums it up in a nutshell.  😃

  11. The thread was locked originally while the moderators reviewed it.  After review, it will remain locked.  We're not going to have this back and forth sniping.  Both individuals have had a chance to give your side and now the members can make up their mind about what they want to believe.  If someone has additional questions for either person on this, feel free to take it to a PM.

Do providers have an option to not be listed?

They can ask for photos not to be included. Those are protected by the DMCA.

However just letting someone “opt out” defeats the premise of a review site. If they don’t like what is said, they just say “I don’t wanna be listed”.

We see it happen quite a bit already from just the forum posts discussing people.

  13. Hi there!

Welcome!  Glad to have you around!

Out of curiosity, how did you find us?  What were you looking for?  I'm always curious to know what made someone decide to take the leap into joining instead of just reading so I can make improvements to the site.
