Perhaps consider how the review site will differenciate between a “massage” and “escort” experience.  I think it is fair to say more than a few of us would appreciate that distinction.

The plan to put them into entirely separate categories.  It's up to the person to decide what kind of encounter they had.  The idea is you would pick a category.  Once inside a category, you would see all of the items in it.  Initially it will be simply by name.  (Eventually it will be similar to Daddy's where you could find by locations on a map as well as by date on a calendar.)

Below is part of what the review home page would look like.  Above this space would be a widget that shows a featured item/person.

Apologies. I misunderstood. I thought some of the prelim information was initially either being taken from already listed information or provided by the providers themselves haha.

Think of it this way...  you found the company of a gentleman and you want to tell the world about the experience.  So you come here!  (And we thank you for doing so!)

You come to the review database.  That gentleman you saw was not in our database, so you add them...  the questions that we ask about them are hopefully all going to be things you can answer either from the encounter itself or from their online ad.  Basically once you sit down after the fact, are you going to have access to that info?  (Either remembering it or copying it). Most people won't be able to go back to the provider afterwards...  "Hey...  I'm writing a review about you.  Would you mind answering these 10 questions?" :D

Once the person is in the database, you get to tell the world about your encounter with them.  Was it hot or not?!

Instead of top/bottom how about “give/get” for activities. For blowjob, rimjob, f@cking, edging, bondage, toys, FF - it would provide more detail of what the provider actually enjoyed, rather than just relying on the ad that says “fully vers” when he is not and knows it.
Still, questions remain about role of “top/bottom” in rimming - give/get seems clearer, for example. And when it comes to “taking charge”, isn’t a bossy bottom actually the top?

I could potentially have a question in the review form itself (not the item record) for "Activities".   Something like:

    image.jpeg

But that would require building out a complete matrix of what options we want to ask.  I also would not make it a REQUIRED question.  Some folks are not comfortable sharing that publicly.

I have encountered providers who advertise "ask" in regards to safe sex but in discussions setting up a date will agree to bb if they are comfortable with the clients status. A few will set their rates accordingly., that is set higher rates for bb.

I could absolutely see that as well.  That's also why putting safe status into the review question is most likely better.  It's going to be too complicated to ask if they tried to negotiate rates based on the service, and if so, what...  in those situations, the freeform text field is the better spot to capture anything like that.

I thought the basic data on an item, as you refer to a provider, would be inserted and then the reviewer would not have to include it themselves. Therefore if a provider states he is neg- on Prep, for instance, then that is available info.

In general, yes.  Things like height, weight, build, style, etc.  Those are generic questions that someone could reasonably copy over.  However things like HIV status, etc is a special category of Protected Health Information protected by HIPAA.  The person making the ad is the person reporting the status.  (Meaning they're sharing their own info.  It's their own info to share)  In this case, someone else would be reporting what they learned from a different source.  I don't have permission from them to take that info from a different source.  (In a court, that's like hearsay.  Don't tell Judge Judy what someone else told you about someone else!)  That's where I don't 100% understand the legalities and have to tread softly.

Under Physical Info "Shoe SIze" is a very common question

Do most people submitting reviews have that info or plan to get that info for the people they see?  Are they going to pull out a shoe sizer to check?

My worry is that we end up asking questions that we can't really answer.  Some info we can get from the person's online ad itself.  Other info has to come from the person who hired... for that data, it has to be something that can be reasonably answered.  Otherwise the info long term won't be really useful.

By the way...  I love the suggestions and ideas.  They're great for making us think and ask questions about the overall value, the level of complexity in getting the info, etc.  So please keep the ideas coming!

Regarding safe sex...  that's a possibility.  I'm inclined to put it in the premium field as I'm not sure I would want that visible to guests.

Actually as I think about this more...  I would most likely want to put it into the review questions and not the item record.  There are a bunch of times that someone could SAY they are safe, but in that session they were not.  Instead of trying to associate it to the person, associate it to the session (aka "the review").  At that point we are not trying to say if the person plays safe or not overall.  We would only be saying if it was safe during the session.  (The free-form text field could be used to say "we played safe, but he offered not", etc)

I think you have missed a few points RM provides about their providers ( and client profiles as well) namely safe sex practices (3 options), health status and drug use. All are important considerations no matter where you personally stand on such issues. What's important is knowing what to expect so as a client you can be guided accordingly.

I had considered this, but there were a few concerns:

    • Anything related to health status is a slippery slope.  PHI has specific legal requirements for both gathering and sharing.  Since we would be collecting info from someone other than the provider itself, there could be potential legal ramifications involved.
    • As a person hiring someone, do you really know about drug use?  I suppose if you saw it on the table, or saw their arms marked up you could, but that was something I would suggest being put into the freeform text field for describing the encounter.  I'm not sure its something that would make sense in the item record itself.
    • Regarding safe sex...  that's a possibility.  I'm inclined to put it in the premium field as I'm not sure I would want that visible to guests.
  9. For the new review site, I need to start thinking about what info we want to collect.  I have taken the data from Daddy's site and have reworked it somewhat to fit into our new system.

Going forward, we will have a database of "items" (escorts, masseurs, strip clubs, spas, restaurants, bars, etc).  For each item category, we can have different sets of questions.  These should be things that describe the item (in this case the escort).  This info would be stuff about the PERSON, not about the encounter such as height, weight, hair color, build, etc.

Once an item is added to the database, reviews can be associated to it.  This would be where we post about the encounter itself.  Such as where did it take place, how long, how much was paid, if the person matched their description, and if the person delivered on the promised experience.

Below are the fields that I have so far for the escort category...  am I missing anything critical?

    ITEM FIELDS

    Name
    Location

    Contact Info

    • Ad URL
    • Phone
    • Email
    • Website

    Physical Info

    • Age
    • Ethnicity
    • Height
    • Weight
    • Body Build
    • Style
    • Smoking
    • Piercings
    • Tattoos
    • Eye Color

    Hair

    • Hair Color
    • Hair Length
    • Facial Hair
    • Body Hair

Premium (NOTE: This field may or may not be included.  I'm trying to figure out if this will become a "premium" field for subscribers or if it will be member only, etc.  It under no circumstances will be available to guests not logged in.)

    • Penis Length
    • Penis Girth
    • Preferences
    • Position
    • Orientation
    • Kissing
    • Frot
    • Oral
    • Anal

    REVIEW FIELDS

    • Location
    • Date
    • Session Type (In, Out, etc)
    • Session Length
    • Rate Paid
    • Would You Hire Again?  (Rate 1-5 stars)
    • Match Description?  (Rate 1-5 stars)
    • Lived Up to Expectations?  (Rate 1-5 stars)

You'll notice most of the fields are associated with the item, which is entered only once.  When adding a review, you don't have to re-enter all of the info since we already have it.  Instead you simply just give us the details about your specific encounter with that person.  My hope is this makes it easier submitting a review!

Also...  we don't want to ask TOO many questions!  Each question means more info we're trying to collect and adds more friction to getting someone to actually complete it!  If it's too hard to fill out or it feels like you're doing your taxes, people won't submit things!  So please don't be upset if not all suggestions make their way into the final version.  It's not personal...  I promise!  :)

  10. I don't know if folks saw my teaser in the Lounge for the new review site, but with the new system we will have the capability to have multiple categories of things to review.  This will include things such as:

    image.jpeg

Inside of each category will be items (either a person or a place).  It's basically the thing being reviewed.  Each item depending on what category that it is in can have a set of questions/fields associated with it.  This allows us to ask different questions for each type of item being reviewed.

Within each item will be the ability to have reviews.  Again, since different categories can have different types of needs, I can create different questions for the reviews themselves.  Think of the reviews as descriptions of the encounter.  You will have an item (aka the masseur) and then the item will have reviews that describe member's encounters.

Given the progress that is being made with the new review site, I'm ready to start figuring out what information we want to collect.  This is where I need your help!

I need to collect both the types of categories we want and what questions would be in the category.  For example:

    ITEM INFO

    Contact Info

    • Ad URL
    • Phone
    • Email
    • Website

    Physical Info

    • Age
    • Ethnicity
    • Height
    • Weight
    • Body Build
    • Style

    Massage

    • Type (Sports, Deep Tissue, Erotic, etc)
    • Experience (years)
    • Location (In-call, Out-call, etc)

    REVIEW INFO

    • Location (City, State, Country)
    • Date of Encounter
    • Session Type (In, Out, etc)
    • Session Length
    • Rate (Price ranges...  100-199, 200-299, 300-399, etc)
    • Would You Hire Again (Rate of 5 stars)
    • Did They Match Description (Rate of 5 stars)
    • Lived Up To Expectations (Rate of 5 stars)
    • Review Details (A text box similar to replying to a post to free-form describe your experience.)

I need to do this for both individual masseurs and for spas.  I would anticipate there would be different things you would want to know about a spa versus someone who is freelance. Let me know the types of info you think are critical to ask about both the item (person) and about the encounter itself.

  11. I don’t foresee a return of the political issues forum as it was before. While I don’t think we will ever be able to 100 percent fully keep politics out of the forum, I do think we will be able to keep the pure direct/nasty stuff out.  And I think we’ve been successful in containing the worst of it.

The level of vitriol on the site has dramatically decreased since mid-Feb. My goal is to look at the overall temperature of the site and keep it contained at a reasonable level.

  12. I don’t negotiate with any of my professionals… my lawyer, doctor, dentist, Uber driver, lawn care service… their rate is their rate. If I don’t like it, I say no thanks and find someone else that is a better fit. I don’t expect them to tell me the value of my work, so I don’t attempt to tell them their value.

Now I may say no thanks and they make a counter offer… but I never expect it. In most cases I won’t accept it either as I would assume the session is going to be adjusted accordingly.

Generally it’s either a “when are you free” or “sorry but that is outside of what I can do, thanks anyway” response.
