You beat me to it by 17 minutes as that's what I was going to post.  I think that posting photos of these alleged scammers doesn't make much sense because the photos are almost certainly not of the men doing the scamming.
I'd even go out on a limb and say that while posting the phone number might be helpful on a short-term basis, once the scammers know the number they are using has been identified as a scammer they'll just get a different number.
The main benefit of a thread like is to simply remind people who may not know or may have forgotten that there are scammers out there and that if you are inclined to send anyone a deposit, at the very least make sure you are sending it to someone whom you know has a positive reputation.  I personally wouldn't pay anyone a deposit unless it was someone I had already met and I was booking a longer than 1-evening engagement, but I can sort-of understand people being willing to pay someone a deposit if their location requires some significant amount of travel and they cannot find an escort willing to travel to them without receiving some sort of earnest money in advance.

And yet people keep posting about whether to pay deposits or any other things upfront. 

I don't mean this as a personal attack, but I've noticed that you seem to have quite a negative view about clients as a whole.  So many of your posts seem to convey the notion that it's normal for escorts to be disgusted by the vast majority of men hiring them.  I'm sure that's true of some sex workers, but given the escorts I've known (some quite well, some just casually) I can definitely say that many aren't repulsed by the majority of men who hire them.  Just thought I'd put this observation out there because I don't know that you want to come across as insulting to the vast majority of people who post here.

As rvwsnd wrote, it's nothing new.  Sometimes people will respond with, "can you give us more of an idea what you are looking for?" and sometimes there are crickets.  It does seem odd to ask for recommendations without offering any detail about what one likes.  It would be like asking a sommelier which wine is the best without giving some indication what you like first.

I think your assumption "thus have no issues seeing men around our age" is wrong.  I think that a lot of men over 60 don't want to be sexual with men their own age, particularly if they are paying for it.  I am in my early 60s and even encountered this two decades ago, with a lot of men around my age looking for thirties or younger. 
This obviously isn't true for everyone, and maybe the split isn't even as high as 97/3, but preferring younger men is definitely a thing in the USA.  When I have traveled to Mexico, age discrimination doesn't seem nearly as prevalent.

Two comments for situations in comparable rich countries:
The default should be pay in the currency of the country you're in, and if he tells you his rate and doesn't specify the currency, assume he means local But ask him, and if he says USD is fine, ask what his rate is in USD, don't assume that your conversion of his stated rate is acceptable (he may not be able to convert at that rate, or he may want more than the going rate to compensate for real or perceived inconvenience - or his bank's fee - for converting the cash)

I think it’s strange that some commentators view bi as being ‘not really into guys’ or somehow ‘gay lite’. I’m bi and I love playing with guys, including kissing and all sorts of activities (I’m vers) that some seem to think of as gay only. I also love playing with females, indeed even better is playing with both at same time. I don’t regard one as better or more fun than the other, they’re just different. If the person or persons I’m with are relaxed about sex and open minded then it’s always a great session. 
I agree that if you come across a guy who describes himself as bi but who lists fairly vanilla activities with guys that he won’t do then that’s probably a signal that he is probably more straight but there’s also gay providers who won’t kiss for example, so orientation is not a good predictor I think.

I'll just toss this out there: Despite the risks of STIs with unprotected oral sex, I think you'll find that most people don't use condoms for oral sex.  I personally could never get into sucking on a penis with a condom on, but I will admit that I didn't try a lot of different condoms to see if I could find one that didn't bother me from both a taste and texture perspective.  Given how many people use PrEP now as their only STI prevention (which only reduces the chances of HIV infection and doesn't prevent the transmission of any other STI), I doubt you're going to find a lot of forum members using condoms for oral sex.  Even before PrEP, I think regular condom use was typically reserved for anal sex among gay men.
Still, I don't mean to disparage your desire to be on the more cautious side when it comes to safer sex.  Do a Google search and you will find some sites that give suggestions for condoms (both traditional condoms and "tongue condoms") for oral sex.

I agree 100% with the part of your post I bolded (not that I disagree with the rest).  As a consumer, I can tell you that 99% of the men to which I've subscribed only got one subscription period from me because (a) their frequency of posting was low and/or (b) the quality of their content was low.  In fact, I'd say that most of them shouldn't even be charging for what they are offering since a lot of them don't share much beyond brief clips leading to offers to purchase full scenes for an additional cost.  Why would I pay $10/month to see someone advertise?  At the very least, put some worthwhile content on the page in addition to the offers to pay for additional content.  And a lot of guys need to check out a quality content provider like Rhyheim Shabazz to see how content should be recorded and edited.  Putting up a phone on a tripod by your bed just doesn't cut it.
