  1. Actually, Donny and his brothers sang "one bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch," but I digress. I wholeheartedly believe in using the block function. I will sometimes choose to look at a post by someone I've blocked if it's in a thread where I think their contributions might be helpful, but it's nice just to not regularly see some people's negativity and pomposity.
  2. You are already receiving push-back because of how you approached your query. You want "everyone to chime in" with their reasons for being a client, but you haven't done so yourself. If you're new to this (or even just in the contemplative stage), why not first share what your motivations are and ask others to share theirs? I'm sure the most common answers you'll get: To get men the client doesn't believe they will get otherwise. For example, a youngish jock isn't too likely to be looking for a middle aged or older bear. For efficiency. Because they get excited by the act of paying someone for sex. Because they can afford to do so and don't feel like they need an excuse.
  3. I don't see that image when I go to pornhub.com. I don't know if there's a way to have PHub display gay content by default versus needing to select that option after the home page loads; if so I would think you wouldn't see any (or many) women's photos on PHub if they know you're looking for gay content (though there's certainly bi content mixed in as well as hetero sex that's marketed to gay men such as SG4GE, so you may see a woman here or there). I actually don't mind watching straight sex because there are some hot men who only film straight content. Even though I'm not interested in the women, I have noticed that if a woman is an extreme turn off for me in the same way a man would be a turn off (excessive tattoos, including on the neck and hands) I don't want to watch the scene even if the man/men are hot so I guess I don't totally tune out the women. In terms of age verification, XVideo's landing page has an alert about it as well. I clicked their link to read what they had to say about it and it wasn't clear if they are just intending to require driver's license information to be uploaded for everyone in the USA or if that's going to depend on one's location.
  4. Maybe because they feel the options available to select are too limiting and they'd rather have a conversation/exchange of texts about it. I can imagine a guy being versatile for some guys but not others (e.g., not wanting to bottom for guys with larger than average penises). I agree that this guy is cute, and I'd probably find him even cuter without that wisp of a mustache.
  5. I don't know these two but I think it's not accurate to indicate that the deceased "stayed with" the alleged killer. He had a stay-away order, after all, at the time of the killing if I read the article correctly, so this could be the type of relationship where one party is trying to break free and the other keeps showing up. True, you could say that the victim in this case should have just called the police every time the guy showed up, violating the stay away order, and it appears he didn't do that. Since the abuse had been going on for years, one could also question why they were still married. I've never been married but I understand divorces that be messy, costly, and take a long time to conclude so maybe that's all that was going on in this case. As written by NipLuvr212 above, there are all sorts of potential reasons why the deceased might have chosen to not break totally free of the alleged killer. All anyone here can do is speculate as to what their reality was unless someone here personally knew these guys.
  6. I used to hate facial hair, but admit that I now find a nicely trimmed beard and stache attractive on the right guy. I don't get the appeal of Benson Boone, though obviously some people find him handsome.
  7. The original film wasn't over 2 hours. It ran an hour and 42 minutes based on every source I consulted (IMDB, Wikipedia, and my personal copy of the blu-ray). So, yes, it's still heavily edited for The Sphere experience (about 25 minutes chopped) and I honestly don't know what they cut out. It's already a film with a good pace (maybe I wouldn't miss a few minutes cut from the witch's castle and a few minutes cut from the farm) so it's appalling to me that they removed 25 minutes. Beyond that, the clips shown on CBS convinces me I wouldn't want to see this even if the tickets were much less expensive. It just doesn't look well done to me. It isn't like I hold this film as sacred even though it's my favorite; I appreciated the 3D version that came out a little over a decade ago.
  8. If the guy has good business sense, he'll figure out what price point works best for him. Just because someone gets more buff doesn't automatically mean he can command more money if he already has a negative reputation for other reasons, or if he simply lives in a market where there aren't customers who will pay a higher price. In the right market, however, if the guy is otherwise a good escort I assume that the more attractive he becomes the more money he can request.

To summarize the previous thread: If using a PC, use Google's Chrome browser. (It might work on others but does not work on Firefox, at least for me.) Some say you have to select a specific country, but I just leave it as Netherlands and it works for me. Paste the URL from the Rentmen.eu ad you want to view. Note that I wrote Rentmen.eu and not Rent.men. YMMV, but the page won't load for me properly when I use a rent.men URL. Click OK as many times as you need to to access the Rentmen.eu page in question. Then you will be able to click on the "Read all reviews..." link on that escort's page which will load all of their reviews, including whatever text was included in the reviews.
  10. Thanks for referencing the previous thread started by hotsaw. It's difficult to take him seriously in this thread given the previous one.
  11. Commenting on the part of your post that I bolded, I'm always perplexed when I come across ads like that. I mean, even if a guy is looking for extremely wealthy clients do those clients want someone who's more focused on getting material things versus what they can provide to the client? I would think not unless the client wants to be "dominated" financially. How many clients are into fin-dom?
  12. I agree. I mean, is it possibly true? Sure. Maybe the guy was more of an escort than a masseur, and the client paid accordingly. Or maybe the masseur was just turned on by this client and wanted to fuck him silly. Doesn't mean anyone else reading the story would get the same "treatment" even if they could identify the masseur, so in the end the post should just be treated as jerk off material (assuming it turns you on; the story actually didn't do much for me).
  13. Just curious, not that you have to answer to me: This guy's ad indicates he's a top, but it sounds like you're more interested in being a top as well. Do you typically not pay attention to that information in an ad and just hope that the guy will accept you putting things in his ass (even if it's just your fingers)? I'm only asking because it doesn't seem fair to me to criticize an escort who lists either "top" or "bottom" in his ad whose behavior in person is consistent with what he advertised.
  14. I rarely say anything because it doesn't happen that often, and just as I don't like being with a provider who is a clock watcher I don't want to be a client who is a clock watcher. By that I mean a few minutes extra or under, not half the appointment time. The only time I remember speaking up was with a traveling guy who went to end the appointment after I came relatively quickly (in under a half hour); we ended up chatting a bit and then playing around a bit more and still ended up only using 45 minutes of the hour. Needless to say I didn't hire him again even though he obviously turned me on (or I wouldn't have reached orgasm so quickly).
  15. I find that there are threads on the LPSG website about a lot of Only Fans providers, so I do a Google search for the Only Fans provider's name + site :www.lpsg.com before subscribing to anyone. If I read reviews that state that everything of substance costs an additional amount, I don't subscribe. Yes, I've still been burned a few times with guys who either posted almost no content or who only posted photos and brief j/o clips, but I'm generally successful at picking out the ones who are worth a month's subscription. Rare are the men who post enough good content consistently to keep me subscribed beyond my initial subscription period.
  16. I loved the original series, thought the "Jumping the Broom" movie wasn't very good, and not sure what I'd think of this movie based on the clips shown in that preview. I'll check it assuming it moves from Showtime to basic Paramount+ at some point.
  17. I agree that it's best to not have any expectations going in beyond what the provider advertised. That being said, when "erotic" was a category on Rentmasseur I did expect at the minimum a manual release. The few times I hired guys who advertised erotic massages but only provided unskilled therapeutic massages I certainly felt like I had been "had" given the rate I paid.
  18. That's the way Rentmasseur works unless (a) you are logged in and (b) you are a paying member. Are you saying you are a paying member and can see the photo in smaller view but not when viewing the larger photos? If so, I've never noticed that the few times I've paid for a month when I wanted to view private photos.
  19. I'm pretty sure we've had this discussion before, but just to chime in again with my perspective: It also turns me off. I guess I wouldn't necessarily write the guy off based on one photo of him flipping off the camera if everything else in his ad appealed to me, but when I see photos like this they generally seem to be attached to ads that reveal an attitude that doesn't appeal to me.
  20. If you're calling an escort using a burner phone, do you not actually have a number that can be used for a call back? As a client, I wouldn't book an escort if I couldn't actually call him to confirm, and I would think many escorts would prefer to confirm they have a way to call the client if something goes wrong and rescheduling is necessary. Oh, by the way, if you weren't interested in convincing me of anything you could have just let my original post stand without telling me that my suggestion was not "realistic" and then offering allegedly "more useful" suggestions. The reality is that the links you posted have nothing to do with whether to answer the phone but rather how one should respond if they get a call that could be suspicious. I personally prefer never to speak with those people in the first place by letting the call go to voice mail, at which point they typically don't even bother leaving a message.
  21. The only people I can think of who cannot afford to just ignore unknown numbers are people using that phone number for business. If it's a personal number, why not just let everything go to voice mail unless you recognize the caller? I learned to not even swipe to reject the call since that lets the spammer know that your number is active because it rang once or twice and then disconnected. Fortunately my phone allows me just to turn it face down when I get a spam call that isn't blocked, which causes the phone to stop ringing but the call isn't disconnected until it's connected to voice mail. Yes, I know that connecting to voice mail is also an indication that the line is active but my personal experience with rejecting calls is that the same number (or a very similar number) would call back repeatedly in a short period of time.
  22. Or just don't answer your phone when the call is from a number you don't recognize, even if the number has been spoofed and the caller ID looks legitimate. If the call is legit, they will leave a message. If the message sounds scam-y, just delete it and block the number.
  23. According to IAFD he's in his early thirties and began his porn career in 2011 (I scrolled through his list quickly but didn't notice anything prior to that year).
  24. Maybe I just got lucky with my Craigslist hires, but apart from the stuff that still goes on (over promise and under deliver) I never ran into problems such as outright robbery or someone threatening me. I actually did the majority of my hiring off Craigslist in the 2000s until whenever they stopped allowing such ads. I'm not saying there was anything magic that CL did that enhanced security. I think it's just that there were fewer scammers because it was still a more niche activity.
  25. Seems like this question is coming up a lot lately. The short answer is, no, it isn't "safe" hiring from Rentmen if by "safe" you mean that the owners of the site actively work to remove fraudulent providers. It's definitely a "buyer beware" type of situation and it's on the client to protect himself in the manner outlined by some people above (using a burner number, not hosting, sticking to providers with a good reputation). It's sad because 25 years ago you could generally "trust" not only sites like Rentmen (actually, I don't think that site existed then, but I'm pretty sure Rentboy did) but also Craigslist. I hired a lot of guys who had no reviews and only a couple of times encountered outright scammers. I don't know how guys break into the business now. There have to be some clients willing to give new providers the benefit of the doubt, but I'm not one of them.
