Anybody else fall for the men they hire?
+ PhileasFogg replied to + Rgsnva's topic in Questions About Hiring
I know I'm late to this discussion, but I think an interjection of context might matter. "Falling for" is a broad term. Context might be appropriate based on Sternberg's Triangular Theory: I suspect that "falling for" in this context starts with infatuation and might evolve to "liking" but rarely evolves to "commitment?" -
A question for the ages: silicone or water based lub?

For personal products, I've used flexible (I think silcone) bottles that are cheap on Amazon or at the drug store. That way, I can still buy personal products in bulk and dispense them into smaller useful containers. I did that recently on a trip with both coconut and almond oils. (I prefer "natural" ) -
With all the rave reviews, I just arranged for him to visit me at my home next month. Had a brief FaceTime and that, combined with the comments here, give me comfort and high expectations.

Yeah…but then, with interest rates where they are, why borrow? I just need to earn 6% and spend 4% to double my estate to my grandkids in 30 yrs. If rates are over 6, I wouldn’t borrow. If they were close, I wouldn’t borrow. If they were really low, I might. Plus, borrowing gives the illusion of “affording” more…plus, I would never give some car dealer insight into my wealth. I just find it odd that my recurring income goes to zero and my score hits the max six months later.

As in “petroleum jelly?” I”m allergic to petroleum based products and I’m can’t imagine that’s good for a bottom to receive? -

I have not, but we are planning another trip. I’m confident he will be back online soon. -

It’s funny. It was suggested to me and I went to Whole Foods 🥴 and bought it in liquid. Very messy. So I got the “solid” and it’s awesome. So, I’m now using the liquid on my skin after the shower for hydration. Dogs suddenly won’t leave me alone 🫠 -

I’ve been introduced to coconut oil by a bottom and I’m shocked how much I prefer it. -

Update: we have spent the weekend together at my house. This young man is 100% legitimate to his profile and a fine young man. Interesting to talk to, mature in his perspective, very hard working, and very attractive. He is in fact very busy and acknowledges that sometimes his follow up to texts can be a bit slow. However, I will say that within hours of his arrival, I rate him a 10+ on a scale of 1-10. -
The point to me is whether I'm making a decision on current photos or photos from a long distant state of fitness. Just happened to me a couple weeks ago. Young, pornstar with vids as recent as several months ago, but completely let himself go in the fitness realm. Edited to add: having said that, I've never asked for pictures. But I have requested a clothed video call as that would tell me all I need to know.

So how does the guy accumulate 26 reviews in a small city?

I’ve heard that the vaccination leaves a scar, is this true?

They were roommates but I believe they’ve gone their separate ways. I’ve had several visits with Jackson in the last several months and enjoy my time with him thoroughly. When doing certain things, he has these puppy dog eyes that look up at you as if for approval.

Points off for (whether male or female): - big and bold tattoos (they’re a distraction to me and rarely an enhancement) - hodgepodge collections of tattoos here and there all over the body like Justin Bieber(seems a little unstable or unorganized to me) If a tattoo is art, it should be proportional to the “canvas” and “well placed.” So many think that the choice to get inked is the only decision to be made. In fact, it’s just the beginning when the tough choices of “what” and “where” should be deliberated. So few succeed in actually enhancing their appearance with impulsive or poorly planned choices Finally, “branding” matters. If you’re going for a bad boy brand, tattoos are warranted. If you’re going for a twink brand, they’re completely wrong. Personally though, I don’t think that the ideal forms of the human body are much improved with ink.

He’s a busy boy, but seems to have a level head. It took a couple of false starts to make the call happen, but it went well. My sense is that he’s honest in the profile. We kept it light and ultimately made plans for a weekend trip that’s coming up within the month at my home. Have you met him? -
Tattoo-less men a bigger turn-off as time goes on?
+ PhileasFogg replied to viewing ownly's topic in The Lounge
It’s interesting to see the number of guys billing themselves as twinks who have big and bold tattoos. Anything but “twinkish” to me. As I think one of the Karashians said “my body is a Bentley. Would you put a bumper sticker on a Bentley?” -
seems to be working now

I was surprised by a number of things at Hanlan’s: 1) how many clothed folks were there 2) how many average nude folks were there 3) how many nude women were there 4) how many guys were boldly sneaking in to the woods for a quickie Young and hung was a clear minority. And, when I was there, it was 60/40 male/female but, a retreat like Harlan in a dense urban area is a great thing.

What are billionaires up to buying farmland?
+ PhileasFogg replied to marylander1940's topic in Personal Finance & Investing
Would I? Yes, in fact, that’s what I’m doing. I’m seeking a 50/50 mix between financial assets and tangible assets (specifically income producing property with inflation resistant cash flow attributes) one makes money in real estate one of two ways - from either the cash flow, the appreciation, or a combination of both. I think farmland and low income housing have attributes attractive on both fronts. As a result, they offer attractive hedges against the inflation that plagues financial assets as I see it, tillable land area is shrinking due to population growth and development, and the demand for food through population growth is increasing. I don’t see this changing. -
I don’t want to imply “catfished.” He’s clearly not as lean and toned as his pictures (not unusual in my limited experience) He was otherwise very sincere and honest. I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t see the difference between “now” and “then” appearance. Haha. No! I prefer boys who can take care of themselves when I travel

Probably not. Nice guy, pics didn’t match RM Profile and gold digging turns me off completely.

Yesterday, after a visit to my house, a guy offered to be my “good boy” This provider is 30+ yrs younger than me and was very impressed with my house, art, cars, etc I told him I didn’t know what that meant. His response was , “you know, ‘good boy’” 🤔 So, not wanting to double down on my ignorance, I left it lingering there in the car. so, end my ignorance please: - is this a submission thing? - is it an exclusive arrangement with me? - is it a generational thing? I’m so confused 😂

I met him. He was attentive, very nice and polite, but awkward because he struggles with English even after being her a couple years. His pictures are accurate and don't do him justice at all.
