You’ve chosen a risky way to start your adventure, hiring someone to come to your hotel when there will be coworkers there. I would have recommended incall as your first experience, if possible. I hope it all works out well for you, though, and you become an addicted enthusiast like the rest of us. I wish I’d discovered CoM before my first experience and could have reached out to the experts for advice like you did!

Is it standard for a provider to cum?
Nightowl replied to cumconnoiseur's topic in Questions About Hiring
A provider who sees a lot of clients in a day may not want, or be physically able, to cum for all of the clients he sees in a day. If he did, his dick would probably be red, swollen and raw. In addition, some providers have OF or JFF channels and save themselves for filming. I consider myself lucky and even flattered if my provider cums; flattered because it indicates—to me anyway—that he feels comfortable completely letting himself go in my presence. If he’s moaning as he cums, it’s even better. -
I appreciate your stance on this. If I was a young man, just realizing my attraction now, I know I would do things differently.

Though I knew I was attracted to guys when I was growing up, I came of age at a time and in a family situation that prevented me from ever doing anything about it. I followed the expected, traditional path—marriage (to a woman), family, house in the suburbs—and suppressed my attraction to guys for several decades. Established in my comfortable, loving environment I was happy and content, and still am. It has only been over the last few years that I’ve allowed myself to act on my attraction to men through hiring for erotic massage. The experiences I’ve had with other men have been satisfying and sometimes amazing, but I have no desire to risk the good things in my life by coming out or hurting the people I love. Perhaps some would label me a coward but for me it was a choice.

No experience but am interested in any details anyone has as well.

I hope you’ll keep digging into this; it’s interesting. You mention distance and drive time as non-starters for some clients. That is definitely true. Convenience is another issue. A lot of potential clients might live close to the city where sex workers are concentrated but avoid going into the city because of traffic, insufficient public transportation, parking difficulty, etc. In cities like DC, this is definitely an issue and even with one of the higher saturation rates per your analysis, it might as well be a wasteland for guys living as close as 15 miles. If only the providers located in the city would “travel” to a local hotel outside of the city center for a few days every once in a while so that those of us on the outskirts could sample their wares, so to speak. But I digress…
-
Just curious: Does the data represent only sex workers who identified themselves as that specific city or does it include those in cities nearby? In other words, did everyone in your “San Francisco” category identify as such or does it also include men in Sausalito, Berkeley, or Moraga?

That’s an interesting point about using one’s name. In the four years I’ve been hiring, I’ve always given my name but your comment makes me realize that no one has ever called me by that name during a session. …

Definitely consider going to massage school if you can. Clients like me who have been getting massages for a long time will appreciate your skills. The fact that you care about what irritates your clients is admirable.

Provider Wants a Longer Session; I don't
Nightowl replied to + KensingtonHomo's topic in Questions About Hiring
I guess I’ve been lucky. My favorite provider has taken extra time with me when we’ve both been enjoying ourselves and we’ve sometimes lain naked, chatting in each other’s arms after the paid session was over. It was incall, so that makes a difference, and it wasn’t in NYC…. -
Interesting question. Split attention (cellphones) is a biggie that’s well-covered here so I won’t elaborate. For me, the biggest thing that pisses me off is a provider who advertises massage, doesn’t know a thing about massage, and spends five minutes pretending he’s giving a massage before grabbing my dick and acting completely incredulous when I try to slow him down because I really do want a massage. I also hate it when I see a new provider who doesn’t know what I want, doesn’t take the time to ask, and greets me curtly, saying only “get undressed and get on the table” before charging into his set routine. The best massage providers communicate, know what they’re doing, and intersperse therapeutic massage elements with erotic ones, taking care of my muscular kinks and stresses while at the same time keeping me aroused and anticipating what may happen next. I should add that, so far, I’ve only hired for massage, so I haven’t taken the plunge into the full Rentmen experience.

If the pictures are similar, I would say there’s such a thing as too many. A whole slew of “posed” pictures leave me cold and 25 pictures of the same body part can be boring. I usually get all the information I need to decide whether to hire based on the first few pictures in the ad. If the provider selects them well, he’ll grab my attention.

You don’t seem to be asking for advice so I won’t give you any, just wish you good luck and relay my hope that maybe things will be different this time.

Weird experience as a provider I had today.

It probably wouldn’t have been a great experience. Kind of hard to be your best after being put through the security gauntlet. -
Weird experience as a provider I had today.
Nightowl replied to Gilfson's topic in Questions About Hiring
I wonder if he’s paranoid that you’re either going to harm him or come back later and rob him so he’s taking pictures in front of his building for future evidence if he needs it. My bet is that he forwarded those pictures to someone immediately in case anything happens to him. Far-fetched but I can see it happening. -
Should a provider be a little more encouraging to a newbie ?
Nightowl replied to Ali Gator's topic in Questions About Hiring
I think he was expecting you to offer an alternative, “ How about Tuesday?” By saying you’d try another time he figured you’d contact him later. Unless he’s desperate to see you, I wouldn’t expect him to be the one to offer alternatives. -
He Deleted Everything — Do I Still Book Him or Let It Go?
Nightowl replied to Dingdi's topic in Questions About Hiring
Is it possible that he doesn’t keep clients in his contact list for your personal privacy so when your number came up it didn’t identify you? Possibly a stretch I know… -
Are we ready for a 'cashless' society ?
Nightowl replied to Ali Gator's topic in Personal Finance & Investing
The only time I use cash now is when that’s the only form of payment accepted for an erotic massage. -
I thought you’d never ask. Big enough to get the job done plus a couple of inches.

Grocery Shopping II: Self check out, like or loath?
Nightowl replied to ICTJOCK's topic in The Lounge
Self checkout wherever it is available. I’m faster and a more efficient bagger than 99% of the full-service cashiers. -

This is every man’s nightmare when hiring. I’m sorry this happened to you. -
I answered “no, “no,” and “it depends.”. I saw a masseur for strictly therapeutic massage twice over several months and he spent part of both sessions on topics that clearly indicated that he was on a different side of the political spectrum than I. During the second visit I found myself getting agitated by what he was saying because I was there to release stress and muscular tightness, and the conversation was making me more tense since I was biting my tongue to keep from saying anything argumentative. Though the massage was great, I opted not to go back. So I guess that, if I know his political affiliation and I know he’s going to talk to me about it and stress me out,, I probably won’t hire him. I prefer not to know and not to tell so that we can both enjoy each other’s company.

I can see myself going for something like this. If the house is big enough, each person could have their own space when they want privacy. Having the companionship of like-minded men as I wait for the lights to go out has a certain appeal. If I survive my current partner I’m not sure I’d want another relationship anyway, just good company.
