Looks like it is set for a jury trial on 11/04/24. According to the MO courts website, the original charges have been changed. Not at all uncommon for law enforcement to charge everything under the sun and a prosecuting attorney to look at the situation and say "no, that doesn't apply."

You all understand there's a big difference between the terms ACCUSED and CONVICTED right.
I don't know the man, I haven't hired him, and I am not following his ad on any platform. BUT, I think it's worth pointing out that the court links show a CURRENT address of Laithreach (Mitch Matthews) in Portland OR. One, courts, and the lawyers representing defendants, are generally pretty thorough at keeping track of accused child sex offenders. Especially if they have personally appeared in court several times for the charge. Two, if a court can't keep track of a defendant address, personally, I may call into question how thoroughly they have investigated the evidence for the charges.

Aaaahhhh, but the law is a very technical thing. Remember, those making porn (actors, writers, producers, etc) all get to discuss erotic massages, role play, genitals, the exchanging of tabs and slots, the exchangeof money, and virtually anything sexual well within the confines of the law.
Simply hiring for a massage, is just as legal as hiring an actor to be in a porn with you. The 2 basic search tabs in rentmen are MASSEURS and PORNSTARS. And, if I recall correctly, one of the providers on here said that rentmen refers to the providers as ACTORS. There's a reason for that. I am willing to bet the website paid a legal professional to come up with that, not a marketing firm.
There used to be provider on the west coast that advertised on Craigslist and explicity listed the sex acts he would perform with you when he made a porn with you.
And remember, there are 3 basic recognized types of porn: 1) written word (stories) ; 2) visual (pics, paintings, videos) and 3) auditory (recorded sounds and words).

When my mother complains about being tired of shopping on Amazon, I remind her it's the Sears of the 21st century. Instead of ordering from a print catalog and having the mail deliver it, or go to the Sears catalog pickup window on Friday, it's now ordered from a digital catalog and delivered much quicker.

No one mentioned one issue with rentmen and texting and phone calls.
To have a client's review accepted and printed in the provider's ad, if a client cannot "prove" that they "met" the provider, and by "proof" rentmen wants to see some communication on the rentmen site that the provider and client actually communicated with one another.
For rentmen's reasons, a client's review will not be accepted by rentmen unless there is some communication on the rentmen site between the provider and the client.
I recently had a conversation with a rentmen exec in Germany about another issue.  The exec admitted that the communication requirement on rentmen is not "fool proof" that the provider and client met but there is another reason (too long to go into now) that makes rentmen require at least one "back and forth" chat on the rentmen site between the provider and client.
So, unless you do not plan to write a review or if the provider does not care about reviews, rentmen communication is not important.   If you or the provider want a review, at least start the communication with a rentmen chat of sorts.   Then you can switch to text or another form of communication.
I know for a fact that when a provider has a huge number of positive reviews, clients are more likely to hire the provider that has many positive reviews versus a provider with zero or only one or two reviews.

As a gay man of a certain age, the most notable thing about Sears for me was that at a very early age I could see pictures of men in their underwear in the Sears catalog. There was nothing else available that was even remotely sexual, so that was the best I could find.

To this day I have a specific fetish tied to using that catalogue as a form of porn.

Hell, even the occasional 1 or 2 star review just makes me realize that some people are never happy.
Overall, it gives me some semblance of faith that the 5 star reviews are genuine,  versus made up or altered after some quid pro quo like a free session.
I have had some of my best experiences with providers who weren't on page 1 or 2, and who didn't have unending 5 star reviews.

Letting your dog poop or pee in someone else’s lawn is more rude than walking on the lawn in my opinion…I was with a friend when he asked a lady passing by who let the dog poop in the lawn not to let it happen again in his yard…and she says “oh I’ll pick it up,”…not the point lady!

I'm the 10% that doesn't tip unless the service is coming from a spa. If an individual is charging $200 - $300 for 60 minutes then that is a great hourly wage. I agree if the service is above and beyond then I will tip but otherwise no.

the concept of tipping is wildly out-of-control in the US.
for professional services, tipping was always a discretionary add-on for someone that did not get compensated for the full fee paid.  example - I go to a barber who doesn’t own the shop.  The shop takes a cut of the service fee paid & my tip brings the compensation in line within the total fee paid.  It was not customary to tip the owner of the shop because they get the full fee paid.  Servers in restaurants is something different altogether because they typically make hourly wages far below minimum wage and it is customary to always tip 15-20% for satisfactory service in the US - more than 20% if the service is outstanding.
for US based providers where they are running their own business and realize all of the fee in cash and charge $250-$350 per hour, I’m not sure where the expectation of tips comes in.  I frequently tip providers if the service is outstanding, or they come short-notice or they stay beyond the booked time.  I don’t normally tip if the time is one-hour and the service is basic or average.  If a provider needs more money to make the transaction worthwhile, then just charge a higher hourly rate.  Much better to be straightforward and transparent vs some unwritten vague rule/expectation that may lead to disappointment.
Europe & Japan are much more civilized where tipping is not a thing and the prices are based upon wages that fairly compensate the workers. Tipping there is the exception rather than the rule.

starred reviews have become such a "thing" within the internet and social media....hotels, restaurants, everything......"how many stars on Google??".......
it's no secret that many review-ees think anything less than five stars is equivalent to zero stars......a four-star review is nearly excellent and may only reflect a minor glitch or a difference in opinion.......but to have that pristine run of five-star reviews broken is apparently devastating to many......and too many reviewers are leaving five-star reviews who also think anything less is an insult....it's not
@Boaxxx   if all you mentioned is true about his work ethic and space, you did nothing wrong....please continue to leave honest reviews as you see appropriate

many times it’s a comfort level. But other times, if you’re working in the nude, some clients can take that as an invitation to try to get YOU off for their entire appointment instead of enjoying their massage.

I think I’ve had only one masseur ask me if I preferred them clothed or naked.  I have never asked any of my masseurs either, most have been naked from the start.  I do find it more exciting if they start clothed…makes you guess as to if/when the fun would start.
