I only met one provider who didn't shower, and he did stink.

He wasn't a drug addict. He was just poor and crude. I found a way to get him to clean up right away.

Well, I suppose the objective of this site is to enable clients to provide commentary of providers.
This site is for clients primarily.
I would imagine (although I have zero evidence to support the theory) that we clients have a collection of providers that we hold dear. I know that I certainly do. I like to broadcast positive vibes about the providers that I like. I like to drum up new, fresh, reoccurring business for the guys I think favourable towards.
However, if there happens to be an encounter with a provider that I have felt particularly cautious or uncomfortable about, then I feel obligated to broadcast that to this community too. I try to do it in a factual perspective rather than an emotional one but I would most certainly broadcast every single detail of an interaction that was not a professional transaction between someone who is selling themselves as a business model and myself who is purchasing time with that person.
I understand that some providers are not actually in a great place mentally, emotionally or physically to be in this industry of client satisfaction, however, we *should* be alerting one another about providers like that.
Treat the providers with respect. Treat other clients on this site with respect. State factual reviews at will.

It would seem to be more useful to challenge posts you think are being unfair to providers directly in the thread where they were posted.  A vague post whinging about unspecific behavior is just an invitation to useless controversy.

I can understand that it's always a question of relative risk. I go to the dog park. Part of the "risk assessment" is weighing the other options. If I didn't go to the dog park, I'd walk the dog down the sidewalk. I typically encounter 15 other dog walkers on a walk. I let my dog sniff and play/interact with the dogs we meet for a bit. It doesn't seem significantly less risky than having more extended interaction with the 20 dogs that will be at the dog park.
@Funguy is there a map to this mythical magical dog park you speak of full of the "snooty" people? I've never experienced it. LOL! I understand there are crazies on both ends of the dog park spectrum, but I think I would welcome the occasional canine tussle if it meant the DOGS socialized, and the owners got to  keep one eye on the dog and MY other eye on my phone crusing for escorts, or socializing on company of men, and not being  proselytized to about the mistakes I am making with my dog.  And don't get me wrong, I don't care who hosts, or partakes in,  a pot luck at the dog park. Likewise though, OWNERS shouldn't be badgered into participation because we are 2 strangers who simply encounter one another regularly at the dog park. I've known plenty middle aged housewives. WE never bonded just because we both liked dick, and just because someone else owns a dog, that's not enough to make a bond for me either.
@Stormy  and @EZEtoGRU, I will am certainly willing to share a list of highlights that nut job dog park visitors have attempted to admonish me for: not feeding the right treats, not using the right bags to pick up his shit, not putting a coat on him in the cold (he is a cold weather breed), not shaving him in the summer so he stays cool, allowing him to interact with other dogs freely before asking the owner's permission (not that he's been ageessive to other dogs), not taking him up to and giving him an introduction to people (not that he's been aggressive to people), using a leash and collar instead of a harness (and he does walk completely calm and controlled with a collar), using the wrong leash for his breed, using hand signals and not talking to him enough, allowing him to play in deep water, mud, and/or cold water, allowing him to entice other dogs into playing in deep water, mud, and/or cold water, and finally my favorite, not teaching him that when he and another dog play with his tug toy, he has a social responsibility to let the smaller dogs win sometimes.
While I wish MY experiences at the dog park were better with people, I do still take the dog. HIS positive experiences are my ultimate motivator.

Also not sure what the "obvious" would be. But, back to the question of not publishing Prep status, I feel like writing "not on Prep" would generate a lot of personal questions a provider may not want to answer. I have to assume there are folks out there not taking Prep specifically due to existing health conditions and pharmaceutical interactions.

Some providers want to keep it vague. I ask and get answers. It's always good to ask, anyway since there are some that are clear in the ad but not necessarily truthful.

If it’s a recurring issue - with due respect are you perhaps allowing the bad ones to take advantage of you not protesting / maybe that’s being communicated in your time with them.
I’ve had both ends of this causing stress - either feeling shortchanged on time or the provider wanting to keep going (even if not wanting to charge for that) and I’m in a hurry or not really that into it and ready to quit.

Shame and embarrassment is never the goal.
A lot of guys- especially older guys just figuring out gay sex- don't always know what PrEP is:  What it can do, what it can't do, when adding doxy into the mix is the right move, etc.  In these instances, escorts can educate without ever making people feel inferior.  The goal is protection, not proselytizing.
As odd as it seems, many people still don't have these frank discussions with the one person they should be 100% honest with:  A doctor.

Anyone playing should know their status and given what’s available to us now, after stopping to say a word of thanks to all who made this possible for us, if they want to play raw, should either be on PREP or ART to stay undetectable. That way someone else’s status matters less.
Given how many DL men visit providers and that PREP use let alone status awareness through regular testing is so low in this segment, I can see why a provider disclosing status and medication accurately is important for some clients. It is still ridiculous - they shouldn’t be risking their health (and that of others in their life) because of their fear of discovery and they should not be relying on a providers self declaration for peace of mind.
I know of several providers who are not truthful on prep use as well as on their actual status. They have always somehow volunteered the information including with a different profile on hookup sites. I understand (and some have shared) some of their reasoning but I think it’s better to leave out a known misrepresentation rather than to lie on something that is still a relevant issue for many (even though it shouldn’t be given what is available).
And to be clear this isn’t just about providers it’s about anyone including on hookup sites.

Whether he is or isn't really isn't the issue. In this business, perception is rarely reality.
It's whether YOU are on it and what precautions YOU'RE taking to minimize risk.
